We change our furnace filters on a monthly basis as recommended by our furnace installer. I crunched the numbers and if I was willing to buy 12 filters at once (and store in our garage) I was able to save $60.00 over buying filters one at a time at the hardware store. I do watch the Sam's Club sale dishwasher washing pods because I can save $6.00 per box. I have three stainless steel shelves in our garage (bought on sale over three years time at Sam's Club) that holds our overstock and sale items like TP, paper towels, laundry soap, air purifer filters and garbage bags etc.
What is George on? The first flights of the day are literally going to be the **least** stressful. There will be hardly anyone at the airport, so no lines at customer service or TSA. And airlines are very highly motivated to get the first flights of the day out on time or early. And as an added bonus, the first flights of the day almost always get to their destination early, because they can get off the ground quicker and can get more direct routing due to less air traffic. I will always catch one of the first flights of the day if it is an option.
I fly out of Nashville, and I can say that even with our little one and all of the gear the morning flights are good. Baggage check and waiting in line usually doesn’t take more than 10 minutes. Even on the busiest mornings, without precheck, having hands swabbed, bottles tested, and car seat checked over, we’re still through TSA in less than 20 minutes.
Its got to be like 12-16 hour drive time before i consider flying. Getting up early before the flight. 2 hrs before flight to get to the airport. A likely delay. Layover because rarely do i go somewhere nly 1 flight is needed. Then the hassle of dealing with transportation when im there. Less than 10-12 hour drive id argue your not saving time.
You could be using door dash and pizza delivery in order to support the folks using these as their side gigs to get out of debt- per the Ramsey group advice on how to get out of debt more quivkly
Haha if I’m getting take out (which id prefer to eat at the restaurant 90% of the time) I’m picking it up. Delivery is just a waist UNLESS I’m sick (which I’d never order take out the either 😂). Also, 5-8$ for delivery???? Delivery is like $10 minimum
Honestly, it depends on the situation- specifically the airport size, your group size, whether you are checking bags, international or domestic flight, etc. I've been to airports so small that they literally didn't let you through TSA until your flight was ready to board- in that case there was little reason to get to the airport more than 45 minutes before your flight.
Arrive 2 hours beforehand in major airports.

If you are a reliable person, you show up at the gate 2 hours prior. If you are not a reliable person, you show up whenever it's convenient for you.
yes its a waste of money but IM HUNGRY !!! plus im debt free
I don’t have kids and I would not pick a flight before like 10 AM. I am just not a morning person.

When driving, can also stop when you want to.

You arrive to the airport 2 hours before your flight. I cannot even fathom cutting it close.

1 hour before for domestic, 2 hours before for international is the rule. I’ve never missed a flight with that buffer, and I fly often.
