George about the horse “aaaaand it’s gone” I love the horse episode. And in his defense she called in for financial advice 💁🏼♀️and George gave her financial advice.
My favorite part about the horse episode was how George brought up selling the horse and then said “this is the Ramsey Show” like it was a mic drop 😂 This episode was amazing! I laughed so hard! You guys are great! ❤
George. Financial Planner here. Here’s a better argument against a 401k loan. Double taxation. When you pay the loan back, it comes from your net income, hence you’re taxed on it. Then, later in life, when you take it out, you’re taxed again. I pay over 30% in taxes. So, if I took out a 401k loan, I’d pay 30% on my income to get the money to make the repayments. Then I’d pay 30% when I withdraw later in life. 60% on that money is worse than the 9% debt she has. Your advice was good, but your reason for the advice was flawed. I appreciate what you guys do! I don’t think people realize how much of a skill it is to give advice on the fly like this.
@Suits334 it's obviously intentional to include the sound in the final video rather than to mix it out (or set up mics that don't capture it), but people laugh at things that aren't particularly funny when they're with people they enjoy being around and having a good time -- this is part of why everyone thinks they're funny, because their friends laugh at their jokes.
I think it's great that you all did this. It shows your human and can actually admit when you would have maybe handled a situation differently. Or (heaven forbid) admit that you were wrong! 😉 I think all the personalities should do this. Inclyding Dave. And listen back to themselves and how they speak to the callers sometimes. Rachel, you are the kindest of the personalities and just genuinely answer the caller's questions without chastising them ... ever!! I love you and way with the callers. Please keep that quality about you and don't get like the other personalities. Other than that, I LOVE all things Ramsey and the content. 😊
BTW, great seg today. People need to remember that we're all human and sometimes don't respond in the best way. It's not like you get the questions ahead of time and get to rehearse your answers. No one would want that anyway. Rehearsed dialogue isn't funny unless it's a sitcome or movie. Off the cuff is best. Keep rocking the cocktails and being your true selves. You two have get chemistry. Love you guys. ❤😊
As someone who used to work at Publix we are trained to take you to the item you’re looking for and not just telling you which isle it’s on and baggers are not allowed to receive tips because they are paid well😂 I loved my time there! Awesome videos guys but I’ll keep asking to bring the spouses on the show please!!
This whole organization is such a blessing , They are so kind and down to earth , Just normal people with common sense ,John, George, , Rachel, and Dave , This organization has literally given my wife and I the knowledge and and ability to literally change our lives and and families life. STEP 7 IS A WONDERFUL LIFE.
Can I just say I turned my survey in too early? I just discovered the show and I love it! I’ve binged every episode in two weeks. At the time was only watching the Ramsey show and an occasional Dr. John Deloney Show. You two have my actually laughing out loud at work. Keep up the great work!
LOVE your authenticity, honesty, vulnerability. I learn much from your podcast, often far outside the parameters of finance. THANK YOU, George & Rachel, for being truly YOU. - a grateful listener from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
as someone in retail - give the items to the cashier - sticking refrigerated items (say cream cheese or milk) in a random fridge can cause problems - certain items cannot be put in say a soda fridge because the temperatures are kept at different levels
Those liquor store ads must monetize very nicely to put your reputation on the back burner by boozing it up for all the folks to see. Who cares what the kids learn as long as you get rich. Right?
Great episode. It’s always humbling to look back at the mistakes we have made, but the important thing is to learn from them. You guys are one of the highlights of my week, keep up the good work!
I’m a horseman. My gelding has been in my family for over ten years. He’s family, just like a dog. You just have to decide if you’re willing to sacrifice other things to pay for it. That, or make more money.
What about that episode George and Jade told the 80+ lady to get a second job to pay her CCs for 10 full minutes and the next day Dave just said “let her just default on them, what are they gonna do?”😂
I have been listening/watching the Ramsey show for 16+ years and you two have been fun to watch grow. Both of yall were painful to watch in the beginning but yall have blossemed and offer such a good balance with Dave. Love your content. Keep it coming. Merry Christmas
When I was a teenager working at Brookshire's, I hated doing put-backs. BUT! It honestly helped me learn where things were in the store, and as a result, I was better at helping customers find what they were looking for.
For the question at the end, folks please put items back where you found them. I've had to throw away so much food just because someone left it where it wasn't supposed to go thinking it will be okay. Like strawberries need to be in a cold area because if it's left out it can mold quickly. There have been people who put frozen items in fridges that aren't cold enough to keep it frozen. Also if you put a chemical item like bleach near food, the store can get in trouble with a health inspection because those items have to be separated.
This was a awesome show ❤❤❤! You made me laugh, smile, and cry on this episode. How many people say that they weren’t happy about advice. I think you guys are way, way too hard on yourself. When you call into show for advice, you have to process the situation and make a decision on the best course of action. To me ,, that is so hard and to the trolls, ignore them. I feel that you give advice , to help others. I really appreciate your advice. I feel that if you have a co host nice that they can pick up on the subject and provide some insight. Love ,this show!!! Thank you for all that you do to help. Would love to see a personality game show. I feel it would be epic!!! 😂😂😂
GEORGE! I just listened to your free sample from your new book. I loved all the audio jewelry! It was like those old-timey radio shows with all the sound effects, when foley artists were the most important people in the shows! Your audiobook had fun music, too! You are so clever to add all the enhancements, George! I'm ordering mine today!
I don't use debt and I am shocked sometimes how much debt can people be approved for. With my income, I could access loads of money if I took on debt, I could do so much bad with it and then struggle for so long to pay it off.
If you don’t want to take a grocery item back to its correct place, hand it to the cashier! At least they’ll know to take care of it and the store won’t look like it’s been looted!
I agree with George on selling the horse. Horse people are crazy. I dated a horse guy and he and his mom were broke horse people. They had 8k in debt from boarding horses.
401k loans are terrible for other reasons. The loaned amount isn’t invested until it’s repaid. You also may be required to pay it back before leaving an employer
George, "gets your goat" is the same as "floats your boat" and "trips your trigger". For example, when you tell someone that you just love shopping at Costco, they may respond with "hey, whatever gets your goat". Basically, whatever turns you on or makes you happy. 😊
I don’t disagree with George’s advice. Pets are a luxury, and if a person is financially struggling, why put an animal over a humans needs? I love my animals. We have over 100 large animals, but I wouldn’t value them over my wife and kids future.
I worked at Publx and it was in our trainning and truthfuly, when i started as a bagger I loved it. It took me away from bagging and work my way in to a stocker. It did build good character.
The pressure on the Ramsey Show I think comes from people with quite serious problems at times. And the callers are expecting you to fix them - and to do it in two minutes or fewer.
As a financial advisor/insurance agent in the last 3 years I have come across the lonely woman on facebook who had a “boyfriend “ only to figure out ( me personally) that it was scam I seriously tired to be nice. He would just tell her otw to see her something always happen with him an his dog were stranded and he needed a gift card but apparently the gift card didn’t work ?? She would be so concerned honestly I knew what was happening but she didn’t want to believe it . I eventually told her give me the gift card and I called the back of the card number and and asked charges and it sometimes about medical supplies!! She still defended him .. just so sad I felt so bad but she wanted to believe it
I would have asked more questions about the horses (she has 2), like do they live on your property, do you cut your own hay to feed them, etc. Find out how expensive they are to keep, do the lessons make any profit or do they just pay for horse care, maybe get rid of the horse not bringing in income....
Hilarious! They are a good duo - both on here and on the Ramsey Show. Publix and Walmart remark - so funny! Rachel is the same on both shows, but George has a completely different personality on this show compared with the Ramsey Show.
George about the horse “aaaaand it’s gone”

Absolutely love Rachel’s reaction to selling the horse! 😂 Poor Katie
12:51 Dave: “Sell the car!”
George: “Sell the horse!”
Rachel tell that guy. "Her grandma doesn't even know your name." 😂
I thought the same thing!
This episode was so entertaining. I appreciate that you both can reflect on mistakes and apologize.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love this show anymore, this episode was gold for its transparency and its great reminder that we ALL make mistakes!

You know Katie went to the event just to confront George 😂😂😂
I still want a sell the horse T-shirt for an event. One day. Lol
George! The horse remarks will follow you forever. Love you
I knew it! As soon as I heard what this episode was going to be about I knew the horse call was going to come up. 😂
Same! 😂
The chuckles in the background are the cherry on top! 😂 This show is the best.
@Suits334 the authenticity is the difference
@Suits334 and you're so cynical. can you really not imagine people having fun?
@Suits334 it's obviously intentional to include the sound in the final video rather than to mix it out (or set up mics that don't capture it), but people laugh at things that aren't particularly funny when they're with people they enjoy being around and having a good time -- this is part of why everyone thinks they're funny, because their friends laugh at their jokes.

I
Katey: "the dogs don't even know your name... THIS is the Ramsey Show"
Rachel’s face of shock, mouth drop and mind blowing is epic!!! I’m here for it 🤣🤣🤣
BTW, great seg today. People need to remember that we're all human and sometimes don't respond in the best way. It's not like you get the questions ahead of time and get to rehearse your answers. “It doesn’t even know your name” sent meeee 😂💀
Rachel’s episode where she hosted by herself was so great
George was thinking of a table saw in which they can go up to Tens of thousands of dollars
This whole organization is such a blessing , They are so kind and down to earth , Just normal people with common sense ,John, George, , Rachel, and Dave , This organization has literally given my wife and I the knowledge and and ability to literally change our lives and and families life. Omg hearing the Katie story I was all “oh this isn’t bad at all” and then at THE END OMG😂
Can I just say I turned my survey in too early? I just discovered the show and I love it! I’ve binged every episode in two weeks. At the time was only watching the Ramsey show and an occasional Dr. John Deloney Show. You two have my actually laughing out loud at work. Keep up the great work!

It's fine it's fine the horse episode was my favorite I did agree with George 😄
Same!
This was SO MUCH fun, I hope you do more of these type of episodes ☺
as someone in retail - give the items to the cashier - sticking refrigerated items (say cream cheese or milk) in a random fridge can cause problems - certain items cannot be put in say a soda fridge because the temperatures are kept at different levels
I’m here for the retirement withdrawal conundrum
Not much of a conundrum. George was objectively correct. End of story.
Same. Watched the whole thing waiting for George to give a forced apology!🤣😢
Those liquor store ads must monetize very nicely to put your reputation on the back burner by boozing it up for all the folks to see. Who cares what the kids learn as long as you get rich. Right?
Dang I need to look up that episode now. Don’t know about this.
There was no chance of that. This was almost certainly filmed before that happened. @@christelhallford
Great episode. It’s always humbling to look back at the mistakes we have made, but the important thing is to learn from them. You guys are one of the highlights of my week, keep up the good work!

12:34 George!! The audacity 😂😂😅
As a horse girl, I know we all know we’re crazy horse girls. 😂 you either have it or you’re not a horse girl
For the question at the end, folks please put items back where you found them. Way to kick off with George's horse clip. Really good stuff right there.
Don't forget to take a sip! As soon as she asks the question...take that sip! I keep watching. Ha ha

Love ,this show!!! Thank you for all that you do to help.
Would love to see a personality game show. I feel it would be epic!!! 😂😂😂
George! Please do another standup set and record it! Maybe for the Ramsey crowd!
Rachel, you should've said, "The girlfriend's mother doesn't even know your name!"
30,000 population isn’t RURAL in caps like she said lol, someone needs a dog walker 😂 RURAL is 500
I love watching you both together. You guys make a great pair, and your personality matches each other.
Need a blooper segment! 😄
Best part of the show is producer Lindsay's laugh.
Yes!!!!!
40:58 I have 100% found cuts of meat on the toy shelves at Meijer 🙄 because people were apparently raised in a barn.
The sell the horse was hilarious lmao
I would stick it to you George. " the horse doesn't know your name"!? What the heck?
Poor George will never live down the horse situation 😬😬😬
Depends on if it is a circular saw or a table saw. They both cut with a circular motion. One is more expensive than the other.
I don't use debt and I am shocked sometimes how much debt can people be approved for. With my income, I could access loads of money if I took on debt, I could do so much bad with it and then struggle for so long to pay it off.

I agree with George on selling the horse. Horse people are crazy. I dated a horse guy and he and his mom were broke horse people. They had 8k in debt from boarding horses.
George was right about the horse. He shouldn't have apologized
Agreed
Dave would have been even meaner. Lol
He wasnt apologizing because of what he said but how he said it.
401k loans are terrible for other reasons. The loaned amount isn’t invested until it’s repaid. You also may be required to pay it back before leaving an employer
I love this duo.
Lmao I love the Walmart employee comment! 😂 it is so accurate!
Based on the title I didn’t know what to expect out of this episodes, but this is one of the best ones yet, they are so funny!
George, "gets your goat" is the same as "floats your boat" and "trips your trigger". For example, when you tell someone that you just love shopping at Costco, they may respond with "hey, whatever gets your goat". Basically, whatever turns you on or makes you happy. 😊
No! When someone gets your goat, it means they annoy you.
You guys were on fire! So great!!!
You guys are absolutely awesome 😂🎉
All great information and enternaiment aside.... George I am lovin them Boots!!
You guys make me laugh so much!
I think the smart money happy hour episode is loading where Rachel spits out the drink because she can't hold her laugh.
What’s the name of the video where Rachel got corrected about taking out the 15k loan?
I knew the horse incident be in here 😅
Hilarious!
Rachel - please share a link to that top!!
I love and appreciate your humility. You two are the BEST!
I don’t disagree with George’s advice. Pets are a luxury, and if a person is financially struggling, why put an animal over a humans needs? I love my animals. We have over 100 large animals, but I wouldn’t value them over my wife and kids future.
George an introvert😂😂😂. As an introvert I'd have to say I don't think you are. Keep up the good work though. Enjoy seeing you two together
Just seeing that "Karmel" on the rim of those glasses....oooohhhhhhhhhhhhh
They’re y two favorites! Besides Dave of course!
Wanna make a small fortune with horses?
Start with a large fortune
I'm waiting for them to talk about the horse debacle on The Ramsey Show
Listen there's a kit from Lowes right now that includes a circular saw for 1k....I got you George lol
Oh I got such a kick out of this episode. I just love the two of you.
Here to hear the “sell the horse”. Such a memorable moment. Still agree with George: sell the horse
I want to see George sell his frenchies. Then we'll sell the horse! 😂
I like people. But, after a 12 hour shift of smiling and meeting people's needs i would get home and not want to talk to anybody or smile at anybody.
George 😂 you are the best. « he doesn’t EVEN know your name 😂😂😂🍾🍾🍾
Love this show and love how funny the two of you are together.
George looks super tiny sitting behind that big desk 😂😂
This was such an entertaining episode! Been watching this show and the ramsey show for 2-3 weeks and this was by far my favorite!
You guys!!!! Put back the item on the shelf or take it to the cash register, seriously judged. 😂
Live, Laugh, Love, Build Wealth 😂😂
I worked at Publx and it was in our trainning and truthfuly, when i started as a bagger I loved it. It took me away from bagging and work my way in to a stocker. It did build good character.
So good!!! ❤
Caller: thanks for taking my call
George: sell the horse!
George once again spot on on his shoe game.
The pressure on the Ramsey Show I think comes from people with quite serious problems at times. And the callers are expecting you to fix them - and to do it in two minutes or fewer.
Another great episode. Crazy thing is that I’ve seen all the clips referenced in this episode. Many laughs! I just love this podcast!
As a financial advisor/insurance agent in the last 3 years I have come across the lonely woman on facebook who had a “boyfriend “ only to figure out ( me personally) that it was scam I seriously tired to be nice. I love you both and I appreciate your 20 cents worth. Please make these shorter so I can continue to watch, listen and learn. Thanks
Hilarious! They are a good duo - both on here and on the Ramsey Show. Publix and Walmart remark - so funny! Rachel is the same on both shows, but George has a completely different personality on this show compared with the Ramsey Show.
You two are so great together! I love this show!
Those stick horse girls are separate from weird horse girls.
Circular saws range from $35-$50 for a cost-effective one. Even an expensive one is only $250
Im the same i like people but id be more then ok staring at a wall all weekend as well 🤣
