So in doubles, just hit it where they ain’t. Good tips on court positioning regarding how hard to hit. As a lefty I sometimes slice an OH to the ad court. When should you let it bounce as opposed to hitting it in the air.
In doubles you can always hit it at the feet of the person at the net. As far as letting it drop, I tell my students to let it drop if it's an extremely high lob that they know they'll have trouble tracking because of the wind or sun. If for some reason it doesn't bounce high enough for an overhead, they'll still have a bunch of options for putting it away.
Matt Jones yeah o mostly take the OH out of the air. Especially in the forecourt and usually aim sit the opponents feet. I mostly play at night under the lights.
