- This is my updated Yu-Gi-Oh collection binder for 2014. Everything is NM or Mint and 1st edition, American English!

The amount these have appreciated in value is insane. That 1st Ed PSA 10 Barrel Dragon that he said "just sold for $50" is now selling for $1500...absolutely bonkers.

I am happy to see that someone else also places a booster pack near the cards you collect from that expansion; in all my binders I always place a booster pack in the first slot and then all the cards from the expansion, and so on, I have a complete collection from LOB to GLAS, and then I stopped playing and buying until I returned to DRGL because of the nostalgia of the Legendary dragons and their fusions finally being released after over 10 years. And now for all the expansion I lost I will simply get a booster and the front card to place them together in the binders right in the gap.
This is the sexiest binder I've ever witnessed in my entire life lol. I love how theres more than 1 of everything good.

@@darkweaboo8380 Funny thing, I think it went from a fun and simple card game that was easy to pickup and hard to master to the most convoluted card game ever. What started as a children's card game turned into something I would never expect 10 year old me to understand.
What I meant was that the new archetypes are too childish looking, but yeah u'r right, a child wouldn't understand just like we didn't lol
@@MrHildebrand It’s not even just about being convoluted. It’s the difference between a Show like breaking bad with realistic and exciting moments the transformers. It’s not exciting to bring out a boss monster it’s got a good effect when literally every monster is immune to magic in trap and that will damage it has 3000 attack and destroys every card on the field. A lot of the art design is significantly overly complicated robotic dragon or anime girls.
I still look at this binder in 2021 .. amazing.. wish I had even 1page of this binder!! Love it

Best collection I’ve seen. I stopped playing after Ancient Sanctuary, so all those cards are so nostalgic. I kept my deck & side deck for memories so I still have some of the cards in your collection.

This is the best Binder I have ever seen, brings back awesome memories :)
This brought back a lot of memories... And also bad ones... I had 1st ed heavy storm and graverober. And I was a kid back then, so I went to my very first tournament where I got asked to trade. And those guys where like 17 years old, and I was 6-7? dont remember.
So they gave me 5 ultra rare cards (which are crap) for me storm and rober.... So i traded.... oMG.... if I only knew back then
+darmamu but at least I kept my dark magician of chaos 1st ed. Many people tried to steal it from me, even rip it!
+darmamu just sold that card on ebay for $50... didn't think people would still pay that much for those cards.
ppl steal 3 x chaos emperor first editon ioc... was sad day ..

I also like how you say full names of cards. It's a small thing, but back in the day, that's how people talked about cards, no abbrevations or simplified stuff like "mst".
I like how they always make comments about how no one uses old school anymore or they’re not good enough.
I disagree, in HS, I faced a couple nerds with their new cards and I used my OLD BEAT DOEN deck and I kept winning and winning. As far as I’m concerned, there’s a reason why a lot of the old cards are banned and they are more savage than ever.

Love how you put packs in the sleeves! Such a good way to display the amazing artwork. I have a page in front of my spell binder with the 3 war of giants packs, dark crisis, legend of blue eyes, metal raiders, magic ruler, pharoh's servant, and the millinium pack
I love how you come up with little things to decide where and what pages to put cards on like the Jinzo with all the trap cards and the 3 tri-horned dragons lol. I do that too with my binder. Never had enough money to buy crap loads of cards back in the early days on yugioh, but when Magicians force came out, I sold my Slifer for $50 to buy 1st edition Dark Magician Girl, at my local card store. It had been there a week after the release of the set, and was lucky enough somebody else didn't buy it. I still own that card to this day, in a triple sleeved casing.

dude,seeing all this makes me want to travel back in time and spend all my childhood buckos in the old booster displays. i really,really would like to start collecting oldschool cards again(i still have many,but nowhere near this) but the prices and the lack of availability are devastating. i also don't really like the newer cards. seeing people pull them out of packs just doesn't trigger this special oldschool feeling you got when you pulled something out of an oldschool pack. i recognize all of this shit and i'll have to leave it to people like you to preserve these sweet gems. i'll just have to accept that.

yup, I'm digging this up :D didn't know they were worth so many, I'm pretty sure having tons of monster reborns some blue eyes and b dragons. When we were kids we had no clue of the value of these. Incredible

I definitely know exactly what you were talking about when you ranted about Axe of Despair, I ALWAYS ran that card, I don't play much anymore, I only run old school cards in my decks, the GX era are the newest sets I use, I mainly collect now though, I don't have nearly the collection you do, but I do have a DDS BEWD so I'm happy cx

I remember i had stopped playing yugioh but i randomly bought a pack the newest packs and got a lava golem. Always wanted to do something with it gravity binds and monsters that attacked life points directly.
Beautiful collection. In a way, I`m not such a fan of 1st ed cards (because some people love to raise a lot the price of a card just for that 1st ed) but I like that 1st (for example My injection fairy lily 1st ed, My black luster IOC 1 st, My chaos emperor dragon IOC 1st ed). Kinda disappointed when you mentioned at the end of the video that you didn`t sell cards, only trade.
This brought me back to the days of my warrior and control deck (which ended up getting every card banned in it basically) lol
Nice, dude. The only card that I haven't seen from the anime not be made into a real car is Roulette Spider. It's artwork is freakin sweet too! I love the sdk blue eyes art work and sdy art work for dark magician more than anything. The red dark magician art is a close second.
They are all in so good to top condition. Man

I once had a corrected artwork dark paladin. I traded it for another dark paladin with the other artwork because I liked it better, not having a clue what the value and rarity was..

North American old school stuff looks SOOOOOO much better than their European Counterparts. Shame how they changed so much with the newer sets. Insane collection as always! Showing this wants me to show my old school collection, although I don't have a huge amount of it XD
Lol its widely known that the european cards look better, have stronger holos and better colors and have just in general a better quality. But oh I forgot you americans are the best in everything and everyone else is shit.

First: thank you for justifying the insane amount I spent on a mint DDS-001 Blue-Eyes, it's the jewel of my collection (hopefully soon to be joined by Dark Magician, but luckily I have exodia there so I guess that's okay)
Secondly: Where your LOB collection starts (with blue-eyes, magician etc) it look like Exodia is really well hung if you know what I mean. Might wanna change that up a little ;)

Loved the video. My favorite card of the entire game is Dark Magician. Im currently trying to build a Dark Magician deck but the artworks I have honestly suck so bad:/ I wish I still had my OG's

Dude that binder you have here alone is worth stupid money now with all the lob blue eyes and dark magicians etc. One lob 1st ed blue eyes In near mint to mint is like $700-1k atleast and abt same with dark magician and you have a ton of them that's just insane.

I love this video so much...brings back so much good memories. Yugioh wasn't a bad game back then... Nowadays they have a bunch of weird cards that I don't know. Haven't played yugioh in years. I was taking of picking up Magic the Gathering again but we're all getting old :p.

I miss the old cards, I had all of this except most weren't 1st ed, your duplicates, and the DDS 1-3 and TP cards I never seemed to go after. I'm buying a lot back, I found cheap links for most. I don't mind if they're NM/LP :). Any suggestions?

I am currently collecting all of the character collections from the anime, and I'm gathering the original card prints for their decks, and the rarest card prints for their collection show off. Should I just buy their cards online? Should I risk opening packs? Trade?
How much would 2-300 cards from this era in moderate to heavily played be worth? From common to most rare, are they worth keeping? How much did you pay for the three Magnet Warriors from Duelist of the Roses? I recently bought a set of all three from Amazon for roughly $35.00 (Alpha was $8.00, Beta was $5.06, and Gamma was $19.95), BTW. The common version of Man-Eater Bug was included in the Yugi And Pegasus Starter Decks.

I had all of there at one point. When I became a teen, I lost interest in yu gi oh and my mom would complain about my cards being everywher. So at the end he pressured me into throwing them all away. Sad. I hope the people who work in the garbage area found them and kept them.
