Seriously, how does a series that loses its original showrunner and two writers managed to land on its feet this well? I swear, Power Rangers has some sort of weird curse on it that simultaneously fills it with strife and problems, and yet always keeps the right people on it to push through those issues and make something wonderful out of it. It really is kind of admirable that this franchise just keeps on going despite having pretty much everything working against it.
Fate grants it a favorable bounce whenever it falls because it is technically for kids ( I like it too but I'm just being honest) and doesn't try to manipulate them in any kind of way. It teaches wholesome lessons and aids in the development of millions of young people as well as their perspectives on how life should be. I'd say it's more the Voyager of Power Rangers. Mainly because the worst-case scenario that is oftentimes threatened in the regular series (either being lost in a far-away part of the galaxy or the world getting taken over by the bad guy) is the entire premise of the show.
RPM is a pretty interesting season to me because both production and the show itself was facing an apocalypse, as Linkara said at the start, the higher ups didn't care, the show had to adapt a light hearted sentai into a gritty PR, the show runner, who had never worked on PR before, was fired half way and another show runner was trying to complete someone else's vision on it and that's only the beginning of challenges they faced, and like our multi-colored heroes in nano fiber they had won the fight in the end, and that is something to remember.
What I LOVE about this season is the black ranger is the main character as in the one that’s focused on the most It’s not common that happens in power rangers
RPM is my absolute favorite Power Rangers season. Sure, it has flaws, but it demonstrates that, not only an idea can work even when the odds are stacked against it, but that Power Rangers can also be very mature, and still be cheesy at the same time, and that's a very important truth that people sadly often tend to forget.
Other than the budget issues I have no idea why RPM wasn't a blueprint for the show moving forward. I see way more praise for RPM than I ever have haters. It really makes me wish that we could have skipped the Neo-Saban era and went right to Hasbro.
It’s my fourth favourite season, my top ten favourites in order is 1. Power rangers in space, 2.mighty morphin power rangers season two, 3. Mighty morphin power rangers season one, 4.power rangers RPM , 5. Power rangers Zeo , 6. Power rangers wild force, 7. Power rangers time force, 8. Power rangers Light speed rescue, 9. Power rangers lost galaxy, and 10. Mighty morphin power rangers season three. The worst season in my opinion is Power Rangers operation overdrive i don’t even find it just okay i think it’s just bad.

I have to say RPM is probably my favorite season for three reasons. 1:It starts with THE END OF THE WORLD, a lot of others seasons have that AT risk in the season finale but never something you saw in the first episode is all i'm saying. 2:Characters:They're AWESOME, I can even say something about Crunch, he act a little nuts and comedic at times but can work, to quote Scrooge of 2017 Ducktales "You were prepared for our best, but not for our dumbest" He made an attack bot that used balloons as a toxic weapon, it didn't work but that kinda off the wall thinking like that can work, have something that the enemy wouldn't expect, plus balloons worked in ninja storm so there's that to back up his skill. The rangers are all top ten rangers, literally, and Ziggy is thought to be 2nd in green to TOMMY OLIVER for some people, that says something.Doctor K is arguably the best mentor ever, and for good reason, she develops right along side the rangers through the season and has the most development of any mentor. 3:Believe it or not it's from go-onger.I actually like the zord and suit designs, what I'm a big animal person, the zords have an interesting combining mechanism and the suits don't convey racing to me but rather machines, fast and efficient, even the cuffs have a use. They have some good detail to from the helmet to straps to said cuffs and I really like the individual number on the chest.
I can't blame Lynn for recycling the astronoma stuff with Dillon and Tanaya. Guzelian was let go out of nowhere and for basically no reason, and he didn't leave behind any notes, AND he took the other two head writers with him. Dude had to get shit on track ASAP, and if that means recycling a plot point from 20 years ago, fine
Funny, I just made that exact point in an earlier point. It's not like he had _any_ time except the week provided by 'And Action' to figure out a new overarching plot. It would have been close to impossible to come up with something fresh.
I love how in the last series that are trying to convince a robot that he is alive and they basically say definitively at the end and yes he has a heart and he is alive. while in this she's degrading the AI because he's just a stream of electrons going through copper wires and so on.
@@danielwilson8604 Plus the first and only thing it's wanted to do after becoming self-aware is literally kill EVERYONE on Earth. Even if Venjix is sapient you'd still be accurate calling him a soulless monster.
I think what could've been funny was if before reviving Gem and Gemma in their Zords was if Venjix said, "I shall destroy you, your city, and your spandex" then Dr K said, "FOR THE LAST TIME, IT IS NOT SPANDEX" then presses the button.
Speaking of Beast Morphers, where can I watch the entire series? All of season 1 is gone from Netflix, except 1 episode, so All that's left is season 2. And who knows how long that'll be available?
@@NostalgiaBrit IDK which one is the official Power Rangers youtube channel, but I did get some results for Beast Morphers. Anyway, I hope Hasbro releases Beast Morphers and Dino Fury on DVD and Blu-Ray?

About that Power/rangers video, I backed out when Jason was killed, he was shot from all sides and his new wife got covered in his blood, that's all kinds of messed up.There is a balance between dark and light hearted, and I think RPM is the best example of that balance for Power Rangers.
If you want a more "serious" Power Rangers, I'd recommend the BOOM! Comics. They basically fill in the gaps of the original series and while some of the goofier elements aren't there, it doesn't make the series grating but puts things into more perspective, like the HUGE responsibility on the Rangers, the fears about what'll happen if they fail, and the kind of power Rita has to create monsters that can attack at any moment. It doesn't try to make the character grim/gritty, but realistic in a way that the threats feel more real and thus you connect more with the characters. It's honestly great to see the originals get some much needed expansion of character with these new stories.
My guess is, that when Venjix Deletes them, It removes them from physical world by turning them into conscious amorphous energy within the bio field incapable of doing anything without a physical body. At least in later seasons we do see other rangers be destroyed by the morphing grid energy but come back. Dr K brought there conscioussness back into the physical world from the bio field. I would have preferred if the zords when deleted were left in the background as colourless machines, useless without the bio field energy supporting them.
the scope of that point sort of makes it somewhat disappointing, one would think it'd be a bit more grand and impactful but overall it was smaller than what was expected
Honestly, I almost kinda thought that Ziggy and Dylan where gonna get together at the end. Yea, I know that Disney probably wouldn't go that direction, but they just have really fun chemistry. Also, loved Dr. K Both the character and the episode.
I could see Power Rangers having gay characters eventually, but Dillion and Ziggy? I REALLY don't see that at all. I say they might eventually introduce it because at this time, there's no way they would've had gay main characters considering it wasn't in the norm to have on kids shows, much less Disney shows. But nowadays, ever since Nickelodean confirmed that Korra is bisexual, both Nick and Disney have been showing a lot more LGBT stuff. Hell, even in one of the Kamen Rider (the sister series of Super Sentai in japan) mini series' last year, they had the balls to show 2 male Riders sleeping together, and the original japanese shows have even less romances than our American adaptions, so that's even more ballsy IMO. Lol
I dont know if I'd be okay with future gay rangers or not okay with it. Part of me would be okay with it because as the franchise continues to grow, eventually they are going to introduce more complicated and possibly controversial ideas (and actually in the 2017 movie one of the rangers is gay so were at a start), because it'll forever be a kids show, but it's been needing to mature along with the audience for quite some time now because we've been seeing so many of the same problems and lessons over and over again for the last 26 years. At the same time I wouldn't be okay with it, mainly because I am a Christian, and that doesn't automatically mean that i hate the LGBT community, I have a lot of gay friends, but one thing I HATE about modern children's entertainment is that Hollywood KEEPS trying to introduce LGBT content in everything, even cartoons now, and it's just completely unnecessary to me. We all learned about stuff like this when we got into high school, so why do people want to force this information on the younger generations now? Again this is just my opinion.
And Dillion's actor say this during an interview about the "Diggy" thing "Even the creepy fan-love things. People, creepy. Like, okay, if anybody listening to this is doing any creepy love stuff between me and any of the other Ranger males ... stop that shit"
@15:01-15:32 Until in 2019 when Hasbro bought Power Rangers, Judd "Chip" Lynn was allowed to finish where he left off at the end of Power Rangers RPM in a new series, Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
One thing I have to ask. Even if Disney decided to renew the series, what could've been done with that sequel hook at the time? The next series was samurai-based, so the only logical option would've been to have Venjix be the villain of the crossover.
With how much of the series was orignal footage and not the sentai, they likely would've just done the same or skipped and used Go-Buster (Beast Morphers) which had a common theme
@@lewiswalker5489 At the time this ending was made, Go-Busters wasn't even a concept. Do you realize how much good fortune the cliffhanger benefited from by remaining unresolved for all this time?
or have him escape and have the villain of samurai be a cyborg body for him. the samurai rangers having their more mystical themes be a perfect counter to his tech, since he presumably cannot inhabit magic. it would fit the theme of RPM as well by having the families be those from corinth who developed a team for when they returned. all the themes of responsibility being that humanity nearly fell once already to him.
I imagine this season would still have been chalked up to "it's an alternate dimension." It's a simple solution that goes a long way when continuity is broken like this.
Nothing outright says they had to do it immediately. The way it ended up happening is almost like a sadistic brick joke, and I kinda like that. It catches you off guard.
17:45 I think it's because since Dr. K infiltrated the program to revive Gem and Gemma, that meant that Venjix couldn't take back the program and was practically stuck in that form until he gets destroyed.
I like Ziggy. He was one of the best Green Rangers along with Tommy Oliver as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger. Here's a famous quote from Linkara-AtopTheFourthWall says to Dax, "SHUT UP DAX".
No, he's not Dax. He can be annoying but he's not an obnoxious egotistical and up in the air douche. Ziggy is heart. Ziggy is love. Yes both he and Dax are clumsy but Ziggy's backstory makes you realize how he is ride or die for humanity no matter how weak he feels. He creates a lot of confidence in himself not only bec he has to given the situation and him being a ranger but because that confidence has allowed him to live with himself even after all the things people put him through. It does explain why even when exiled and hungry, Ziggy is an optimist. He probably can still go home no matter how dire bec he left behind a family to keep them safe.
I'm always astounded how this series apparently keeps going over budget. Do you know what Power Rangers is worth? 16.8 BILLION DOLLARS. I'll repeat that. SIXTEEN BILLION. EIGHT HUNDRED MILLION. DOLLARS. Retail sales alone account for 16.5 billion. It is the 27th most successful media franchise of all time. Lifted directly from Wikipedia, here's a bunch of franchises Power Rangers makes more money than: The Simpsons, The Avengers (not the MCU, but the comic book series), Looney Tunes, Spongebob, the entire life cycle of the Nintendo Wii, Final Fantasy, Superman, Star Trek, League of Legends, and the ENTIRE DC Extended Universe. Hey, Disney? Or Saban? Or Hasbro? Or whomever owns this series? THROW SOME GODDAMN MONEY AT YOUR SHOW. YOU MAKE SIXTEEN BILLION DOLLARS OFF OF THE TOYS. GIVE THEM SOME MORE MONEY FOR FUCKS SAKE.
May I just say that Venjix’s defeat in RPM is criminally underrated. They’re only able to defeat him by crushing him under a building, burying him beneath hundreds of kilograms of metal, plaster and concrete!!! AND IT DOESN’T ACTUALLY KILL HIM!!!!! That shows how powerful Venjix is. His body may be destroyed, but Venjix himself cannot be killed so easily.
Part of me feel that RPM comes off as an ABC show, Freeform Show or Fox Show similar to that of Lost, Once Upon a Time, Cloak and Dagger, Shadow Hunters and a few others due to its teen drama esc tone and cinematography. Maybe both Samurai, Megaforce, Dino Charge, Ninja Steel, Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury would have been either different or better if it was able to stay on the ABC. If not, I’m sure that these shows would have been on the CW just like Karen Rider Dragon Knight was back in 2009.
First of all, "And...Action" hardly counts as an episode, since it's just a "behind-the-scenes" skit, and second, shaky cameras doesn't make a film or TV show better. It makes it worse. Not trying to be rude BTW, I just can't stand shaky cameras.
Eddie said his finale was going to be called Ranger Black and have Dillon be activated like everyone else and the rangers would end up having to put him down. But for Chip to look at Eddie's notes, that might have resulted in a WGA grievance from the latter or worse.
Yep as soon as Evox mentioned Nate messing with a certain cell-phone shaped morpher in his Morph-X + Animal DNA experiments I was thinking yep Evox is Venjix and they're finally resolving that plotline with "Spoiler Alert" Devon the Red Beast Morphers Ranger being the one who destroys Venjix for good.
If this was an anniversary season it would make a lot more sense for tenaya to be Dillons sister because it would pay homage to in space, because the would be similar to astronoma being reveled to be androids sister and sorry if I’m spelling their names wrong
The 2017 PR movie is indeed superior to "Power / Rangers" because, while more mature, it didn't lose the heart of the franchise. Also, "Zordon of Eltar" & "Teens with Attitude" are fan films, 'cause where "Power / Rangers" zigged wrong, "Zordon of Eltar" & "Teens with Attitude" zagged right, in every sense of the words.
Honestly I felt that the movie was really shallow and surface level with the references and while the fan film was dark to open almost needless degree it threw in a lot of references in Easter eggs that show that the people making this actually were fans of the series enough to reference the stuff a lot of people wouldn't notice or forgot. In the film itself they changed so much that any references didn't really excite me they just felt tacked on.
Linkara's speech about why he didn't like that accursed Power/Rangers fan film and why RPM is far more mature is basically more relevant than ever in the Sub-Decade of hell that is the late-2010s to early-2020s: Remember Castlevania the series? Kurtzman's Star Trek shows? any Nonceflix adaptation of a beloved Japanese property (I.E. Cowboy Bebop 2021 and Wingard's Death Note)? The newly released Bel-Air? These things had one thing in common: They were made by people who either didn't care anymore or didn't care period. Most of these Bad Reboots often tried to "fix the material" in different ways for different purposes, be it by making the Federation of Planets into a dystopian totalitarian government or derailing the character of Faye Valentine into an annoying, f-bomb dropping loudmouthed cunt. These were often done because the people behind it just didn't care or outright DESPISED the source material they were working on. They often decide to do away with what made a property so beloved and iconic in favour of pursuing a new audience who is much like the creators themselves: Viewers who despise what made certain franchises so good. And thankfully, unlike Power/Rangers, audiences are sticking two middle fingers straight up at these clowns.

My problem with RPM was the use of Go-onger footage, especially the zord battles. It just didn't mesh well with the overall story. Don't get me wrong, I love mecha fights, especially with EngineOh G-12/RPM Ultrazord, but you're watching the episode, at some points it gets real dark, then to fill in the last few minutes, they had to tack on a megazord battle. It's like, was it really necessary? Sure there are some exceptions that zord footage that worked with the story, such as Gem and Gemma using their zords against the tower, or Jumbowhale being used as a doomsday weapon, but outside of that, I'd say this is the one series that could have done without the megazord battles.
No I completely understand that, and I love megazord battles, more than the Ranger battles themselves. Just this series for the most part, the megazord battles just seemed unneeded. I guess if they blended them together a little better (sorta like how In Space did), it might work. But for RPM, it just felt odd.
I agree with most of what he said about rpm the season its self did not use a lot Sentai footage can I think that was very interesting but they only the sentai footage of the zord battles only but still rpm was somewhat of a good season and I can't wait in the summer when he thinks about Power Rangers Samurai l finally know why Saban got the rights to Power Rangers again and why he went to air it on Nickelodeon
+Angela Bright Lol , thanks xD . While we're on the topic of very cool things , i love your upload schedule . Ain't nothing better then a constant supply of new vids *_* .Keep up the good work !
SuperZero2552 Well, Linkara did mentioned earlier that Eddie Guzelian was inspired by the first Terminator movie, the Mad Max trilogy and Road Warriors to create the post-apocalyptic universe of RPM. So yeah, I guess in a way, we could actually see a little bit of the young Arnold from his Terminator (1) days in the form of Dillon in the later episodes. With a little touch of Wolverine's brooding personality traits, and his backstory of a mysterious past and amnesia just to spice up his character for the show. I'm just sayin'!!!
If Venjix managed to break into the Grid before being destroyed it makes a lot of sense how he managed to escape through it and successfully duplicate/corrupt rangers. The show went through so much budget the planned Paleomax Rangers couldn't be made any more than toys, not even Crimson to serve as sole operator of the train.
Okay just saying in my own opinion Power Rangers RPM has a lot of references two of them to other seasons of Power Rangers and one to Marvel one of the first two references is Dylan being a cyborg almost similar to Mack being an android from Operation Overdrive and the second of the first two references is that nearly all of the plot of Dylan losing his sister at a young age and finding out she's one of the main generals is definitely based of the whole Andros/Karone (Astronema) thing from In Space while the second and final overall reference is that Venjix is mostly based off of Ultron from Marvel being a computer program for artificial intelligence in the movie and comic books overall while technically a computer virus to allow Dr. K to escape in Venjix's case if you wanted to know but both are almost similar Ultron wants to annihilate every single organic living being in all of existence and creation to replace them with android civilizations which he will rule above all of them while Venjix just wants to conquer the whole entire planet and rule above a civilization of cyborgs and androids but yeah all of these are just in my own opinion only.
GTA V World Champ No, actually, I don't think you should be calling it an opinion. But rather, it's more like a quick analysis on the show's production in general. But yeah, they actually did kinda recycled the same "Brother/Sister" plot twist for Dillon and Tenaya's characters in RPM. I don't know why?!?! But, I kinda had a feeling that originally Eddie Guzelian was supposed to have her killed off completely. Setting Dillon on vengful path to kill Venjix himself, but at the same time...Venjix would have used Dillon has a final body for him. Now that could've been an excellent way to keep the story even more intense, if you know what I mean. P.S. Great analysis on comparing the relationship between Dr. K and Venjix to that of the relationship between Hank Pym/Ant-Man and Ultron in the Marvel comics.
Of course you need levity in a situation like this, they had to make an artificial sky just so people could live within the city. They NEEDED humor to survive. Heck Id love to hear of a sequal series dealing with all the other people the AI enslaved around the world. You can't convince me that it only had 1 human concentration camp.
Actually I have an idea on why the robots have personalities Maybe vengeance wanted to have robots personalities to like better understand humans so we can couple with better plans and utilize against humans By making robots that have enough emotions and can articulate set emotions so that the unit can come up with plans that things that can use creative engineering against humanity, Like maybe hes smart enough to realize that's usually what he meant he has a leg up on machinery so a compensates by having machines that have an articulate emotion so they can come up with those plans to begin with, sorry this rambly, I'm using a text to speech on this
If the RPM Morphers are DNA-locked to the operator, why does she make everyone hand them back in at the end? No one else can use them, and Power Rangers could come in handy rebuilding the world
The new Hyperdimension Neptunia Game Sister VS Sister has the same theme. The world is fucked, the main karakters home destroyed, her sister is missing and the other 3 nations are on the cusp of falling apart, Lastation being so bad its leader is overworked too the point she isnt even capable of showing joy of her sister, who has bein missing fore 2 years, returning because shes just THAT focoused on work. Howewer despite this dark theme the game keeps it light heartet and more humorous unless neceserry. The game isnt dark and gloomy but about finding hope and humor in a dark situation.
Just a quick question I don't know if you have been asked this yet but what do you think about them skipping a series and going straight to dino charge
wildforce writer who wrote ideas for samurai and go busters adaptions ended up thinking up Venjix and General Venjix as one and the same with general Venjix being weakened and transported to the RPM world or something, you can probably find the pitches around online... oh now I remember the writer, Jonathan Tzachor
Grant Wilson it's unlikely, as the Beetleborg suit was likely destroyed or sold after Wild Force since they thought the show was going to be ending, and trying to either buy it back or remake it would cost way too much, especially for a show Disney pretty much didn't care about and barely spent money on.
Watching this again I'm curious what would happen if Venjix and Lord Zedd meet. Venjix did what Zedd couldn't in the original series. He won and ruled the world.
Ironic that Summer Landsdown, with an undoubtedly long and "important" lineage...ends up in a relationship with Dillon, who has NO idea of his family besides Tenaya.
Kinda goes with how In Space is the better finale in general. It's more present to signify that this WAS the end of the Power Rangers, at least it was for Disney's end of it. I feel it's kinda unfair a comparison in general. In Space was a truly epic ending to the original series all the original fans grew up with before the series finally completely shifted gears to different-team-every-season mode, you're gonna have a REAL hard time topping that with a single season. Especially more so when the Disney-season interest waned super hard and almost nobody giving a crap about it until Neo-Saban made people go "oh shit we should've gave those last couple Disney ones a second chance" me included in my own ranting on that. So...naturally, it'd be even harder for a musical finale for RPM to top a musical finale for In Space. While I'm thinking about the subject, I kinda wonder if someone making a Fire Emblem retrospective would do the same for Awakening, since it also followed the In Space/RPM logic of "we were flat-out told the series is gonna die after this, JUST GO FREAKING NUTS." Making a huge musical tribute while fighting on Grima in FEA's final battle...knowing full well said installment in fact saved the series for how crazy it went.
Seriously, how does a series that loses its original showrunner and two writers managed to land on its feet this well?
Agreed
Funny, I just made that exact point in an earlier point. It's not like he had _any_ time except the week provided by 'And Action' to figure out a new overarching plot. It would have been close to impossible to come up with something fresh.
I agree as well, but I have to wonder what the original plan for her was.
I love how in the last series that are trying to convince a robot that he is alive and they basically say definitively at the end and yes he has a heart and he is alive. while in this she's degrading the AI because he's just a stream of electrons going through copper wires and so on.

Holy shit. Ziggy is just Caboose from RvB. Look at that helmet.
Every time the chorus plays during the montage, the MM team is shown, then the RPM team. Nice touch
RPM is one of my all time favorite Power Rangers series ever along with Power Rangers in Space, Time Force and Dino Thunder.
It's true. in physics we learn that matter and energy isn't created or destroyed. It only changes into something else

Whenever I see the metal hand I instantly think of Dylan as a brooding Luke skywalker
So Anakin Skywalker?
Honestly, I almost kinda thought that Ziggy and Dylan where gonna get together at the end.
Yea, I know that Disney probably wouldn't go that direction, but they just have really fun chemistry.
Also, loved Dr. K
Both the character and the episode.
And Dillion's actor say this during an interview about the "Diggy" thing
"Even the creepy fan-love things. People, creepy. Like, okay, if anybody listening to this is doing any creepy love stuff between me and any of the other Ranger males ... stop that shit"

Until in 2019 when Hasbro bought Power Rangers, Judd "Chip" Lynn was allowed to finish where he left off at the end of Power Rangers RPM in a new series, Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
Coming back after beast morphers I'm glad that we got a resolution of the venjix storyline
Is it weird I get butterflies in my stomach when let’s see how far we come starts playing
Nope
I just realized why I like ziggy so much he’s a much better version of dax
Maturity is not the absence of sugar, cartoons, and make-believe. It's the absence of hatred, loneliness, and the exclusion of others.
Lifted directly from Wikipedia, here's a bunch of franchises Power Rangers makes more money than:
The Simpsons, The Avengers (not the MCU, but the comic book series), Looney Tunes, Spongebob, the entire life cycle of the Nintendo Wii, Final Fantasy, Superman, Star Trek, League of Legends, and the ENTIRE DC Extended Universe.
15:32 until Judd Lynn got to come back and finish what he started 😏
The shakycam was even explained glowingly in And Action.
First of all, "And...Action" hardly counts as an episode, since it's just a "behind-the-scenes" skit,
and second, shaky cameras doesn't make a film or TV show better. It makes it worse.
Not trying to be rude BTW, I just can't stand shaky cameras.
Assholes right?
I was surprised that they were able to make a good series considering how wacky the sentai was. It had talking cars from another dimension.
Eddie said his finale was going to be called Ranger Black and have Dillon be activated like everyone else and the rangers would end up having to put him down. But for Chip to look at Eddie's notes, that might have resulted in a WGA grievance from the latter or worse.
actually that was a rumor that was put down by cast and crew.
So many questions left unanswered

You only spelled Andros' name wrong.
I actually kind of like Power/Rangers simply because of how balls to the walls insane it is
I kind of disagree if only cause they changed so much and the "references" feel tacked on.
The power rangers short film is so fucking good omg... the tallent
RPM was the best.
Oh my God! THAT'S LEMONADE!!!
Lmao hahahahahaaa
RPM's storyline would be continued in the sequel season Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
Yup
An awesome continuation.
What’s wrong with castlevania?

My problem with RPM was the use of Go-onger footage, especially the zord battles. It just didn't mesh well with the overall story. Don't get me wrong, I love mecha fights, especially with EngineOh G-12/RPM Ultrazord, but you're watching the episode, at some points it gets real dark, then to fill in the last few minutes, they had to tack on a megazord battle. It's like, was it really necessary? Sure there are some exceptions that zord footage that worked with the story, such as Gem and Gemma using their zords against the tower, or Jumbowhale being used as a doomsday weapon, but outside of that, I'd say this is the one series that could have done without the megazord battles.
most of the ranger footage on foot are original footage.
Megazord battles are a staple of Power Rangers. It would make little sense to drop them.
No I completely understand that, and I love megazord battles, more than the Ranger battles themselves. Just this series for the most part, the megazord battles just seemed unneeded. I guess if they blended them together a little better (sorta like how In Space did), it might work. But for RPM, it just felt odd.
They did splice the hell out of the footage. If I recall most of the motw talked in the sentai.
I agree with most of what he said about rpm the season its self did not use a lot Sentai footage can I think that was very interesting but they only the sentai footage of the zord battles only but still rpm was somewhat of a good season and I can't wait in the summer when he thinks about Power Rangers Samurai l finally know why Saban got the rights to Power Rangers again and why he went to air it on Nickelodeon

imdb88 Well that's certainly interesting. I didn't know that.
SuperZero2552 Did you not watch Part 1. Lewis did mention it.
imdb88 I watched part 1 but I guess I just missed him mentioning it.
The show went through so much budget the planned Paleomax Rangers couldn't be made any more than toys, not even Crimson to serve as sole operator of the train.
oh and venjix put gem and gemma in the recycle bin
Am I the only one here who has a feeling that this show might not work well as a full-length film adaptation in the near-future?
Terminator: The Power Ranger Chronicles?
GTA V World Champ im glad im not the only one to make comparisons with venjix and ultron.

Venjix is back in beast morphers be warned.
Venjix should've made his last body the same as Venjix from "Forever Red" like a nice reference.
And after this we will take several steps back
Only to finally take a step forward after taking those several steps back, it'll be a long while, but hopefully we'll make it.
This song is gonna look so awkward when we cover Beast Morphers. Just sayin'! xD
Maybe. But, that's only covering what many fans had missed out on from 1993-2009, when Power Rangers RPM ended its' run.
Ironic that Summer Landsdown, with an undoubtedly long and "important" lineage...ends up in a relationship with Dillon, who has NO idea of his family besides Tenaya.
That ending montage is nowhere NEAR as good as the one in the HOPR In Space video.
