Another thing, all it does is take a picture of your background and start melting it, its not even your actual background or pc, just an image the mod takes to give the illusion of it destroying the pc (it even checks for multiple monitors)
1st: L is real was a theory that Luigi was actually real in Mario 64 due to a star in the backyard saying what they think was "L is Real 2401", so people did some research and found that Luigi actually going to be a playable secondary character
2nd: the Wario Apparition is a 4chan rumor that spread that some people who would wanna see Wario in Mario 64 would the the Apparition, and would chase you until you couldn't escape, when in reality it was just a little thing in the space world mario 64 reveal with wario saying "You want fun, Wario show you fun" and it showing pong
3rd: Every copy of Mario 64 is personalized, what you see there is mario becoming your personal copy, with his voice going from scratchy mess to, a perfectly nice voice, as every copy of mario 64 is a personalized copy, why people say this is because everyone's experience of Mario 64 is different
4th: Gilbert is a meme as you can clearly know, Gilbert is also known as uncanny mario or shadow mario, all from a meme to a horrifying experience
5th: Speedrunner mario is a joke made by Terminal montage, with mario being so insanely fast that he can speedrun anything in lightspeed basically
6th: SM64.z64 is a creepypasta rom hack, where you play through a rom of super mario 64, each time you go into bob omb battlefield, you collecting the star, and then the game crashing. each time getting worse and worse until you go in one more time, seeing a timer of 30 seconds, until a glitchy version of mario catches you, and mario is erased, saying "Everything is better off without you." next time you open it.

Why would you even want to prevent the melting? It's not like it actually does anything harmful to your computer
