"They come up with a new villain for every movie!" Well, they do have 70 years worth of comics to pull from, so there's no shortage of villains in sight!
@@algi1 Exactly! To watch these movies in chronological order would be a real PITA. By my count, it would require watching the 25 movies (so far) in 42 segments. First, you watch the intro to Thor: The Dark World, then the backstory of Hela part from Thor: Ragnarok, then the intro to Thor. Then the historical part of Shang-Chi. Then the historical part of Black Panther. Then Captain America: The First Avenger, but you have to stop before the end. Then the past parts of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Then the intro to Guardians of the Galaxy. Then Captain Marvel, but skipping the mid-credit scene. Then the intro to Ant Man. Then the past parts of Black Panther (in New York), then the opening credits of The Incredible Hulk. Only then can you watch Iron Man - as a whole movie, without interruption. Then the rest of Hulk. And so on. Long story short: chronological order is a dumb idea.
@@PhilBagels I have never seen anyone suggest that chronological order should be taken to that extreme. You can watch the movies in a more chronological order without worrying about every little flashback segment within those movies. Who is being a dumbass here?
@@PhilBagels first you have to re-edit a pile of segments out of The Eternals and put those WAAAAY at the start... They go from 7000 years ago to now in that.
The "I loved you in A Christmas Story" is an inside joke to the fact that Peter Billingsley (AKA Ralphie) is actually in the first Iron Man movie. (He's the "I'm not Tony Stark!" engineer.)
The scene where people were falling from the plane was real. Except for obvious scenes with Iron Man suit, everything is real. They Hired actual sky-divers for that.
Watching the Marvel movies in chronological order exposes a first-time watcher to devastating post-credit scene spoilers & confusing out-of-context plot points. There's really no reason to watch the movies in anything other than release order.
There's a dude who has put the work in and actually edited the whole thing together in timeline order (except where it would mess with the storytelling), which puts the post credit scenes in the right places. It's a little clunky in spots because obviously these movies weren't made that way, but it's really fun for someone who has already seen all the movies a couple of times. The "snap" sequence that incorporates scenes from something like four different movies is actually edited very nicely and works pretty seamlessly.
The Mandarin in the comics was one of Iron Man’s greatest enemies so having a fake Mandarin disappointed a lot of fans over time I’ve come to like Trevor
Love the "Honestly, I'm only working here!" - guy. :) He basically is the punchline to generations of underpaid henchmen who were willing to fight obviously superior foes to the death. And when you think about it... It IS kind of weird that this doesn't happen any more often. :)
"This poor robot of Tony's, I'm so happy he's become a character in these movies" *waits for the emotional trauma of watching the robots fall over the cliff*
I thought Ben Kingsley was the perfect choice for the Mandarin and got such a shock to find out he was Trevor, but I actually find the twist to be so funny that I'm not mad about it(plus he did an amazing job).
If Beans had fingers and thumbs, she wouldn't need Ashleigh to operate the can opener. At that point, the human becomes a needless annoyance, best disposed of.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 if we're not trying to spoil things, then we should probably not let on that there's anything TO BE spoiled... Everybody just shush!!
Try to remember for the future, every time something happens to Tony, he upgrades his armor to counter that in the future. Its part of the reason why he had so many that did different things and looked different. There's something specific that happens in the future that everyone is like "how did that happen". This is the answer.
So happy to see you back in the Marvel 'verse! Tony having some PTSD/anxiety/flashbacks was a very welcome development considering all the mess these people go through - it makes a mark!
Just an FYI: The Marvel Universe literally has thousands of comic book characters to choose from. The MCU could not even make a dent on the selection they have to pick from in our life time at the pace they are moving.
Last i checked they said marvel has 1500 i don't know if it's heroes or characters but even if it's just heroes i think by endgame they had like only 40 some characters which is barely a speck on the floor of a basketball court compared to the comics but i don't thick anyone's clamoring for some of the dumb ones like that polka dot guy Spider-Man fought in the animated series
@@anthonyrangel7239 You say that, but like maybe three people were clammoring for a Guardians of the Galaxy movie until James Gunn got his hands on them so you never know what characters will work in the films and TV shows. Hell, there were more people disappointed StiltMan didn't show up in Daredevil than there are people who wanted GotG before the trailer dropped.
I was just about to say the same thing. Even though they often make changes,. they are definitely drawing from the source material (the comics), which has decades of characters. They can easily do another decade of connected movies from the X-Men alone.
@@TheAbstruseOne oh my god i completely forgot stilt man was a thing and I'm even more shocked that people actually wanted him for something as seriously written as Netflix daredevil next thing you know they'll want slapstick MODOK or that vampire cow whose name escapes me at the moment or that one x man who everyone literally forgets i don't even know how you go about writing some of these guys in movies
This movie gets a lot of hate, but it’s one of my favorites for two reasons: 1) the hero is straight up dealing with PTSD from his last movie. Go representation! And 2) total subversion of the “damsel in distress” cliche. Love it! Also, fun fact: the CGI on the people plummeting out of the plane looks so good BECAUSE they filmed people… plummeting… out of a plane. See if you can find the behind-the-scenes extra for that shot.
The suit getting on Pepper first was on purpose, Tony was more concerned with protecting her than himself. Also, supposedly, whatever happened to the Roxxon exec wasn't actually Trevor; at one point he stammers about no one trusting him with a real gun, and how they're all props. Not that he isn't living the life by playing a terrorist, and isn't an awful person because of that, but he didn't actually kill anyone himself.
Also, in the comics, Pepper gets her own suit, as the female B-team Avenger “Rescue”. One fan asked RDJ at the con about whether we would see Rescue rescuing Tony in any of the future movies, and RDJ had never heard of the character: “Rescue me from what, a bar?”
@@ericjanssen394 I love that people think actors know all this comic book lore in minute detail. Some might do some research, most just act and collect the paycheck. Its like asking NPH surgery questions and expecting correct answers because he played Dr. Howser as a kid
@@metheus108 Alan Alda spent years playing Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H* 4077. When he had a role on ER, he went on talk shows and talked about having a discussion with an actual doctor about a procedure, and Alda recited book and verse the textbook entry on the procedure because of M*A*S*H. The doctor smiled because he had first learned about the procedure from the episode, and it inspired him to go into medicine.
There is one thing you should watch after seeing this. There's a One-Shot called "Hail To The King" about what happens to Trevor after this movie. It's only a few minutes so maybe not enough for a whole ass video, but might be good to tack on to Thor: The Dark World or something.
This is actually one of my very favorite mcu movies, even though I know it has mixed reception. Most notably, I LOVE seeing what Tony is like out of the suit and how he's *always* a superhero. But also, I really like that this movie is about trauma and Tony dealing with all the horrors he's been through. And finally, the twist with the Mandarin? PERFECT.
Oh also, some other reviewers pointed out and I agree that it looks like Tony has *always* had anxiety that he covers by being brash and in your face. Just the PTSD makes it so it can't be ignored.
0:51 - Release order IS the 'correct' order. Although you CAN watch a few of the movies out-of-order, doing so disrupts the context of certain plot points, references and jokes, so release order is the best order. 1:25 - You'll be waiting a while for most of these. 1:45 - Also, when 'Purple Chin Man' finally enters the scene, they actually ignore the most significant allusion that that end-credits scene makes, but you don't know the character, so it won't matter to you. ;) 6:43 - If by 'randos' you mean 'cruise missiles,' yeah, you're right. 9:18 - Ashleigh's gettin' REAL attached to JARVIS.... 11:05 - Get used to it. It's gonna be a driving plot point for a while. 15:50 - If you like Trevor, you need to see the Marvel One-Shot 'All Hail the King.' ruclips.net/video/40o7U32xots/видео.html I suggest that you make a short reaction out of it. 19:30 -**Holds tongue**
This is off the topic of the film, but I would suggest getting a “cat exercise wheel” for Beans as a weight loss aid in addition to the new diet you’re implementing . It’s basically the equivalent of a 4ft hamster wheel. I have one and my cats have used it so often I’ve had to replace the bearings. Love your content BTW!!!
11:05 - One of the best aspects of this is bringing forward PTSD as a major plot point of a superhero movie. As a person with PTSD, I feel represented... somewhat. 15:25 - Welcome to the moment that made comic book fans lose their collective minds with anger. The Mandarin as a punchline. Ooooooh, we was pissed! 23:27 - Then watch them more often! There's like a thousand MCU movies with more on the way! 14:55 - Highlight of the video: toilet flushing.
I liked the Mandarin as a fake-out. You've got to do something different once in a while, especially to a character that... let's say, hasn't aged well.
@@devenscience8894 100% agreed. The comicbook Mandarin is an absolute trash character. It was a horrible racist caricature when it was created, and it's only gotten worse with time. I loved how they handled him here, though the recent further rehabilitation of the character was obviously also awesome.
@@devenscience8894 I'm a huge fan of the comics, and have been since the 80s, and honestly I prefer that they did it this way. When they confirmed the Mandarin for the movie my immediate thought was how about just how much they were going to have to explain about the rings and just how much they were going to have to change the character to fit into the MCU that had been established up to this point. Then when the trailers came out for the movie I was low-key disappointed with the generic Bin Laden-esque terrorist retcon. I prefer this fake-out to what they've actually done with the Mandarin in Shang-Chi if I'm perfectly honest - and I think that if we had gotten that character (or, for that matter a version even closer to his comic book counterpart) then people would've disliked the movie even more. I'll take a complete retcon (no matter how blasphemously different to the source material) that fits with the aesthetic and themes of the franchise thus far over a comic-book accurate version that would clash with it any day of the week, frankly. In short, I think this movie gets unfairly maligned for unreasonable reasons.
The writer and director on this was Shane Black, who you've already seen as the mercenary telling the dirty jokes in Predator. He's a long time friend of Robert Downey Jr, havig helped resuscitate Downey's career when he had been written off by many as a Hollywood party boy. Casting him in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang brought him in from the dark (although the process actually started with Mel Gibson surrendering to him the lead role in the Singing Detective). IM3 has a lot of Shane Black marks including the dialogue, lead character with mental health issues, and of course his famous penchant for Christmas scenes. If you haven't seen it yet, I would recommend either of Black's best movies, Lethal Weapon and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
"Beanz . . . On a diet"! LOL!! I watched the Hallowbeans Q&A and openings on the other channel yesterday, so I know she's already doing better! What I love about this movie is it shows Tony IS Iron Man, in the suit or out! The best spoiler-free advice I'd give is, Keep Notes!!
Don't know if anyone mentioned it back in IM-1 but the engineer Obadiah yells "Tony Stark built this in a cave...from a box of scraps!" at was played by the actor who was the kid in _Christmas Story._
Ashleigh, you've see the writer/director of Iron Man III already...in PREDATOR. It's Shane Black. He was one of Ahnold's commandos. He also loves to make offbeat Christmas movies like: Lethal Weapon (writer) The Last Boy Scout (writer) The Long Kiss Goodnight (writer) Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (writer & director) The Nice Guys (writer & director)
Yes, I was also going to mention Shane Black's movies. He loves setting them during Christmas time. If you want more Shane Black/Robert Downey Jr. Shenanigans, I wholeheartedly recommend Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. But all the ones listed above are great.
OMG, its so fun watching these because as an obsessed fan, i love seeing what you pick up on and what story threads intrigue you most. I gotta say, just from your questions and what you want to see next, I think you will really enjoy what the rest of the series will bring :)
I am so excited and can't wait to see your reaction to Terminator 2! It really is a great movie! I am not a big action movie person, but this movie is my favorite action movie of all time and has been since i was a kid when it came out!
Never understood all the negativity towards this film. I always thought it was pretty good, showing Tony solving most of the problems using his wits instead of just shooting at them. Anyway, can wait for her to reach the next movies, when eveyrhing start to come together.
Same here. This dealt with important aspects of Tony’s development in a highly entertaining way. Much of what comes after for him would make far less sense without this part of the story.
Watching this movie on Ashleigh's channel has convinced me want to watch Iron Man 3 again. She looked like she was having fun. I remember having negative thoughts about the film when it was released because there was news that The Mandarin would be in the movie. I was really looking forward to seeing Iron Man's arch enemy in live action. Instead we were all given Trevor. I was seriously disappointed that the MCU would portray The Mandarin as a bumbling actor. Things have happened recently in the MCU to alleviate that situation so I'm going to give this film another chance.
@@gamingwhileotherssleep4650 Yeah, that's pretty much it, I actually liked the twist about the Mandarin, it was interesting to see. But seriously, the way some fans react to movies is shocking to me. @@P.HATHCOX Just have fun with it. I do understand where you come from. I also was expecting the Mandarin and his rings with different powers, instead we got a tecnomaniac hiding behind an actor. Not what one would expect if you follow the comics hehe. The MCU has done a wonderful work translating comics to the movies, while most of the time they have aced it and even made the characters better, a couple of times they have tripped. Best that we can do is just enjoy the ride, after all, who would've thought that we would have a whole MCU like the one we have now. Have fun with the movie, hope you enjoy it!
This movie only hinted at the famous comic book arc "Demon in a Bottle" that dealt with alcoholism. They were afraid to go into it because it had already been done in the Will Smith superhero flick. Too bad as this would have been where Robert Diwney Jr could have had a command performance.
I think that the way RDJ had those demons from early on in his career to the point where the alcohol and other substances nearly killed him (both personally and professionally) really mirrored the early storyline of Tony Stark. Putting on the suit actually saved both Downey and Stark from what very well could have been dismal fates for each. So, essentially, Robert Downey, Jr. IS Ironman.

I watched a series on TikTok about an asthmatic cat that needed to lose weight. It was a big cat walking wheel and a cat toy with loose cardboard as leads while exercising. And walks on a leash. Good luck Beans, we believe in you!
This is such an underrated movie. The humor elevates it so much, and I really like how it's a big blockbuster but is scaled down from Avengers. I like seeing Tony use his brain to macgyver his way out if situations. Just a fun action movie.
I remember seeing this for the first time, the biggest reaction from the audience was the sheer laughter at Trevor mentioning having acted in Croydon (as a UK audience, we weren't ready for referencing there!). Also, did you recognise Trevor from Sneakers?
It's the same thing in Captain America - The First Avenger when he says "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn", that got a lot of cheers in Brooklyn theaters, did anyone recognize the vice president from Robocop?
Don't know if you realize that this film is a Shane Black film. He also did Lethal Weapon and The Nice Guys. It has many Shane Black touches. He loves setting things at Christmas. He loves heroes working with kids. He loves heroes with psychological wounds. There are more. Lol.

Then the past parts of Black Panther (in New York), then the opening credits of The Incredible Hulk. Only then can you watch Iron Man - as a whole movie, without interruption. Then the rest of Hulk. And so on.
Long story short: chronological order is a dumb idea.

The "I loved you in A Christmas Story" is an inside joke to the fact that Peter Billingsley (AKA Ralphie) is actually in the first Iron Man movie. (He's the "I'm not Tony Stark!" engineer.)
And he's a producer too I think of the first Iron Man.
And he shows up again in Spider-Man: Far from Home
Did not know that . Cool .
Peter and Jon Favreau are partners. Jon directs and Peter is the producer. They've made everything together.
I first remember Peter Billingsley as Messy Marvin in the Hershey chocolate syrup commercials, then as a regular on "Real People".
The scene where people were falling from the plane was real. Except for obvious scenes with Iron Man suit, everything is real. They Hired actual sky-divers for that.
Bizarre to see you here, dude!
omg it's adik. love you man. so cool that you watch reactors

Watching the Marvel movies in chronological order exposes a first-time watcher to devastating post-credit scene spoilers & confusing out-of-context plot points.
There's really no reason to watch the movies in anything other than release order.
Also, the character in that movie isn't relevant to anything for 20 movies, and will probably be forgotten by the time they do become relevant.

BRUTE SQUAD!
Same I wish this movie got the love it deserves

There is one thing you should watch after seeing this. There's a One-Shot called "Hail To The King" about what happens to Trevor after this movie. It's only a few minutes so maybe not enough for a whole ass video, but might be good to tack on to Thor: The Dark World or something.

1:45 - Also, when 'Purple Chin Man' finally enters the scene, they actually ignore the most significant allusion that that end-credits scene makes, but you don't know the character, so it won't matter to you. ;)
6:43 - If by 'randos' you mean 'cruise missiles,' yeah, you're right.
9:18 - Ashleigh's gettin' REAL attached to JARVIS....

Yes we love Beans just the way she is, but an exercise wheel wouldn't hurt lol
And for her reliving herself outside the kitty box, maybe try a new litter. My Pounce randomly decided he hated clay and had to switch.
Biggest problem is usually the lack of feeding discipline in the "can opener".
Ashliegh: Oh! I love that Jarvis has become a super hero!

Don't know if anyone mentioned it back in IM-1 but the engineer Obadiah yells "Tony Stark built this in a cave...from a box of scraps!" at was played by the actor who was the kid in _Christmas Story._
So when you see Tony with an arc reactor in the future, it’s not to keep him alive, it’s for powering his suit
Ashleigh, you've see the writer/director of Iron Man III already...in PREDATOR.
It's Shane Black. He was one of Ahnold's commandos.
He also loves to make offbeat Christmas movies like:
Lethal Weapon (writer)

The Long Kiss Goodnight (writer)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (writer & director)

Same here. This dealt with important aspects of Tony’s development in a highly entertaining way. Much of what comes after for him would make far less sense without this part of the story.
As I understood it, die hard comic fans were mad at how "The Mandarin" was portrayed and took it out on the rest of the movie as well.
The sounds of Beans purring during the video was satisfying
IS Ironman.
Yeah, Hancock robbed us of Demon in a Bottle. But Hancock's prison scene makes me cry laughing and I'm chuckling just thinking of it, so I forgive it.

Just so long as it doesn't look like that rabbit from that one Malcolm episode. ...still unnerved by that perfect lagomorphic manifestation of "morbidly obese"...
Parts of this film were shot in MY home state of North Carolina. One of the news reporters was played by NC native Kim Holderness, who's probably best known, along with her husband and two kids, for the "Christmas Jammies" video from a few years ago.
Stark has always had insecurities and anxiety -- he just hid them really well behind arrogance.
Give Beanz extra cuddles for me! One of my kitties was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma, don't know how long she has left. She's getting all of the attention she deserves right now.
I love that you're back in the Marvel universe but I was thinking this would be good for the Die Hard category of Christmas movies for Jingle Beans. I nominate Batman Returns for this category as well if you ever plan to see that (I know you're generally anti-sequel but that's a good one). Also throwing Trading Places into the suggestion box for Jingle Beans in this category. 😁
More Guy Pearce movies now that you've met him - esp LA Confidential and Memento pls!
A couple bits of trivia for you:
This is at least your 4th movie written or directed by Shane Black, fyi. Lethal Weapon, The Nice Guys and RDJ was in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. These movies also take place at Christmas.
Rebecca Hall who played the scientist Maya, just directed a movie called Passing on Netflix about biracial women who can "pass" for white; Hall's grandfather was black and passed for white most of his life.
I really love this movie because the Tennessee scenes, hospital scenes, the final battle, and a lot of the studio shots were filmed in and around the city I live in, Wilmington NC. One of my friends was even an extra as one of the chopper pilots that blew up Tony's house.
She is so close to getting into the next level of marvel movies... I wish November would just be a marvel catch up marathon!
I just want her to just do these for a bit, it will be over in a snap
@@twizzy316 SPOILER
Puns like that... we go for the head.
@@CaptainFrost32 I wish we'd have a line-up of these in a Colbert monologue; the writers are great at lining these up into speech.
Ashleigh you make watching these movies fun and entertaining don't ever change
26:57, yes, TERMINATOR 2!!! Anyway thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
I can relate to your frustration with Pepper near the beginning. I can’t stand love interests who are constantly tell the hero to quit doing their duty!
"I LOVE a white power dress suit." ...yeah, that's never going to get taken out of context XD
perhaps not the best choice of words, Yup.
Depends how you type it.
"I love a white power-dress suit" is much more contextually friendly.
@@JakkFrost1 Kind of like the difference between "Let's eat Grandma! and "Let's eat, Grandma!"
@@RedwoodTheElf exactly. Or the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.
@@JakkFrost1 Man, ain't nobody who's going to take that quote out of context gonna get hung up on punctuation accuracy ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
As someone that struggles with ptsd and anxiety this is my favorite Marvel movie🥺 also thank you for the Bean content, shes a lovely lil lady💕💕
Ashleigh: “Jarvis is just technology, Jarvis cannot die…”
Everyone: 😳
Dunno if this is mentioned below, but the "I loved your work in 'The Christmas Story' is actually a shout out to Iron Man 1, where the scientist yelled at by Stane was actually Peter Billingsley, Ralphie from 'The Christmas Story' . Neat stuff!
Fun fact: in the comics, Pepper has her own suit. It's called Rescue!
Is there someone named Search too? Are they a team?
Go ahead and spoil some more why don't you.
@@Farmer_Dave Is that a spoiler? And if it is, how would she know if you hadn't said anything?
@@armas_ectos Spoilers are any facts not in evidence. It has not been even hinted at in Phase 1 or this movie. If you want to mention an upcoming detail, just cover the bases by putting a Spoiler Warning and adding a few blank lines. If it turns out to not be a spoiler, you can edit the post and remove the warning in hindsight.
@@CaptainFrost32 I only mentioned something from the comics. I never even hinted that it was going to happen in the MCU. Therefore, not an MCU spoiler. The guy that responded to me saying it was a spoiler was the one that ruined it. Talk to him.
Hi!! Yes!! Hello!! It is time to revisit the MCU!! So glad you're back Ashleigh and Beans!! Time for my shot of Tony Stark!!
Ashleigh laughing over the idea that one of those people from the plane can't swim is everything I am here for.
I was so excited to see you review this. I had to do the Watch Along on Patreon too as soon as I could because that's how excited I was to see you experience this film.
I thought this movie was eh when I first saw it but the more they played it on TV the more I warmed up to it to the point it's one of my fave movies in the MCU. I also love Trevor, it looked like Ben Kingsley had a lot of fun with that role.
I do remember this movie came out a few months after the Boston Marathon Bombing, which was pretty local to me, so the scene at the Chinese theater was a little uncomfy to watch for me back then.
I don't care what anybody says, I love this movie! great reaction! You should write down your big questions after each movie on a big whiteboard and see how many get answered by the time you catch up! Lol
I'm one of the few who loved Sir Ben Kingsley in this.
@@maximillianosaben I am one of the few as well.
Beans’s purring = best movie soundtrack ❤️❤️
Ashleigh when you really stop to think about Iron Man 3, the big hero throughout the majority of the movie is…. Harley (The Kid)! Hopefully one day they’ll get The Mandarin right because the Ten Rings are a call back to the terrorist organization from Iron Man (2008) and his greatest weapons (the rings on each and every finger on his hands controlling all of the natural elements). Aldridge Killian’s chest Dragon tattoo is an easter egg and reference to Fing Fang Foom a notorious and popular Iron Man villain from the comic books. #ShaneBlack #RobertDowneyJr #JonFavreau #GwynethPaltrow #DonCheadle #BenKingsley #MCU #IronMan3 #IAmIronMan
Haven't you seen Shang-Chi? They got the Mandarin absolutely right
@@drakeredwingofficial Honestly i haven’t seen Shang-Chi and the Legend Of The Ten Rings yet! Sorry but it didn’t appeal to me when the trailers came out for this B list event for the MCU when the primary focus for me was squarely for nothing more than Black Widow which i love by the way…. Except Taskmaster.
@@timothymorris157 I hope you do watch Shang-Chi! Like GotG, he might be a B level hero in the comics, but the film puts him in the A level!! And Mandarin questions are resolved!
@@timothymorris157 So you make a post that says "I hope they get the Mandarin right some day," and when you're told they did just that, you say "Saw the trailer, it didn't appeal to me."
Seems a bit contradictory.
@@Bad_Wolf_Media It’s not because A: I’m not a Shang-Chi fan in general. B: As i mentioned earlier, i haven’t seen Shang-Chi yet so i don’t know what exactly they did with The Mandarin or even what he does throughout his screen time in the movie whatsoever. Contradictory? Clearly you misunderstood me and don’t know the definition or meaning of the word. I am mutually opposed to the movie and the protagonist because i never read a comic involving Shang-Chi throughout my entire life at this point and time so you’ll forgive me if I’m content and most satisfied with the Infinity Saga and Phase 4’s first movie Black Widow. Thank you for your time and just remember that like the MCU’s Avengers, nothing lasts forever!
Iron Man started in 1963… they have plenty of villains and storylines to draw from.
Although it is a bit of a cop-out, I love the Mandarin twist, because Ben Kingsley is HILARIOUS at it.
It's even more fun if you've seen him with Michael Caine in Without a Clue.
"I wouldn't go in there for 20 minutes!"
@@darthken815 "Fancy either of the birds?"
With all the other well-known actors that show up later - as well as ones that are well-known specifically because of the MCU - I gotta wonder what she'll think of some of them.
Blew my mind to see Julia Louis-Dreyfus turn up, I tell you what.
YYYAAAYYY!!!!!! MCU IS BACK, BABYYYY!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 and I got news for you! The vast majority of that skydiving scene was not CGI. They were actually skydiving! How cool is that?! I can’t wait for more! It’s been so long!!! ✌🏻😎✌🏻💙💙💙
Stay out of the comments Ashleigh, I have a feeling they're going to be worse than usual with idiots thinking they are clever and couldn't be more obvious in giving away spoilers.
Another wonderful reaction video!
Looking forward to Monday!
Best Regards!
[s] Oh come on, is it _really_ that much a spoiler to say that this isn't the last Stark-owned property to get trashed? Or that the big purple chin guy will eventually know his name? Or that robots will continue to be important? [/s]
@@christopherb501 I never mentioned any specific spoilers. I just know there are dimwits who quote something Ashleigh says, put a laughing or other emoticon next to it and think they've made such a witty comment. When in truth all it does is make something that *could* be a huge spoiler easily deduced.
@@Drawkcabi Said people REALLY need to shut up about what characters here show up later in what state.
Hi Ashleigh.... This was great! I am so loving your reactions and commentary for MARVEL UNIVERSE . I have seen all of the MARVEL movies multiple times but I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the finale "End Game".... I am just not ready yet. I think I will wait for you to get to the End Game and then find out what happens. I am glad that Beans got her check up and is doing good... the 22lbs. is just a little on the naughty side.... my mom had a cat that weighed 28lbs. so I know the experience of getting a kitty back to their prime .
For me Pepper is a Favorite character in the MARVEL UNIVERSE and when she fell in that fire... my heart sank and tears were shed . I am such a sucker for Pepper& Tony moments . Thank you Ashleigh for everything you bring to your channel .
