He has a gift to connect and communicate the Gospel. Jesus waits and embraces us with open arms to fully participate of His Grace in person through the church Sacraments. Love and Peace.

This is the first time I’ve heard mass with this priest and his sermon had me in tears… For I’m not the man I thought I’d be 😢…
The fact that you even know this is a sign that the Holy Spirit is working on you. God isn't done with you, he loves you and has a plan for you.
I have to pause and digest the sermon. I abandoned God in rehab once after some surgery. It was a very bad place and I couldn’t sense God there at all. If I thought about Christ on the cross my own pains would only get worse. I never dealt with this failure, I just moved on and made friends with God when I could feel his presence again. Now I’m letting myself down not taking Lent too seriously.
Father Mike, I love your sermons, they’re so full of wisdom. Now, I’ll get back to the mass.

Another powerful, thought-provoking prayer, Father Mike! I got a lesson from God similar to Fr. Walter's when I was homeless for three years. I nearly lost my mind. But Jesus helped me to hang on and so I am now confident I can trust Him in any situation. Praise be to God! He is always good to us and loves us more than we can know. God bless you, Fr. Mike. Thank you Father! This really hit home..I've tried nursing home nursing over again and again and I couldn't do it! The whole thing broke me, just when you though you couldn't give more in a shift you were still expected more and more! Now I learned it isn't for me! Amen!
I struggle with getting to mass. These types of programs are such a help. I always finish a TV mass saying “dang, I should have gone to mass”

Love today's message about how the greatest grace comes with the greatest price. Well explained through the story of Father Walter Ciszek and his suffering in the Soviet Russia, which led him to accept the reality that we need God because the world created by Him is out of our control but in God's control. We are indeed broken more than we know, and we are loved more than we can hope for. We are never as good as the person we hope to become because perfection is never possible. What matters is that we are humble enough to address this and continue to work on ourselves while trusting God and putting our lives in His hands. Thank you so much for your work, Fr. Just got home from watching the third Sunday of the Chosen series, so very moving! It ended with Jesus riding on the colt going to Jerusalem. I read the Bible with Fr Mike twice, also did CIY this past year, I highly recommend following this series. I am learning so much of God's love for me and you my brothers and sisters. Thank you Fr MIke for all you do for us, reminding us of God's love!

It was eye opening Fr. Mike when you said, to fail would be a stumbling block for those who demand perfection and foolishness for those who see themselves as strong and i drew a parallel of what you said to today's second reading in 1 Cor1:22-25- "For the fool-shness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men." - the power of the cruicified Jesus, the greatest grace. Amen.

What are the first steps for a new Catholic? I grew up going to Calvary chapel. Over it. This is where I belong.
🤍RCIA… speak to your local Roman Catholic Church. So happy for you!
I was raised Catholic and it was all so “ formal” with no change in people’s lives (or it seemed to me). Then came the Jesus Movement of the 1970s and I went to so many churches starting with Plymouth Brethren (very good Bible students tho), then Conservative Baptist church (great people), went to a Protestant Bible College, where I experienced culture shock of evangelical churches. Then I left church altogether for 20 years. My point is, that it took me awhile to step into any church again, even though I never gave up my own reading and prayer. And finding my Catholic faith again is not complete yet (plus I attend a Lutheran church, of all places lol); but God is in all of it. The Holy Spirit does not tell us whose heart He will touch next. I think Fr Mike, Bishop Rob Barron, and many others thru Ascension Presents ministries, are places to start. Find a Catholic Church active in the growth of their congregation. I’m not completely there yet, but I tire of the churches that just “ split” when they disagree. And yes, there’s some issues in the Catholic Church right now with the back-to-Latin people etc. God will meet you. Have faith in Him. 🙏❤️
