honestly this would fit more for absrad at the end of pantheon 5, it feels much more serious and kinda lets you concentrate while also feeling extremely intense
@@soupandthunder6018 nothing will ever be more intense than that sound effect that plays on the final phase though, at least when you first beat it. Bro I thought I was gonna have a heart attack ngl 💀
There is definitely a scene of gothic cathedral to this piece with the pipes and choir and the variance in rhythm, tempo, and melody. A dramatic piece for sure!
A glimpse into the past. Before the Wyrms light. Before unity. Back to the mother of so many. Dreams weave together so smoothly without anger. Without Rage. That bright regal light was home to so many. A dazzling reminder of dreams power. But forgotten that light grew harsh. Instead of warmth it burnt through all it touched. . . . . Until it burnt out. Trapped and chained within a poor child. An idea instilled. . . . a crime it was to feel. To want to protect. To want to be loved . Alas Now all that remains of that old light is its memory. . . . and even that quickly fades from the soul and mind. As it sinks into the eternal silence. Maybe it may finally rest.
0:48 has an odd artifact. I've been getting issues with my East/West samples like that too recently... Otherwise, it does what it sets out to do. I'd say the production value increases TREMENDOUSLY at the 1:05* area onward, like easily your best orchestral work thus far! The re-arrangement is solid as always. Love the part at 1:50-2:30, it reminds me a lot of Actraiser 2, the Undead Fields irrc. 2:35 onward, with the percussion stuff is amazing, especially with the choirs and woodwinds in the background. The strings seem to behave a lot more too! Good ole East/West samples haha. Very enjoyable listen!
I don't know why, but when listening to this i just felt sorry for the radiance, once a proud god that didn't want to be forgotten, onle to be taken down due to the extreme measures it made, sealing its fate.
In terms of criminally underated, I'm afraid we've hit the level of crimes even the mafia is scared of
I would argue this comment is criminally underrated 🤣

It does fit, now that you mention it. Thanks for listening!

Thanks! Really wanted the beginning to sound like a hymn, and just went from there.

Well said.
Back to shine once again, I see?

Thanks! We were originally planning to have the thing turn into a shred-fest, but we're pleased with the direction it took.
This is great!
thank you!

That's the kind of vibe we were going for. I'm not saying the Radiance was innocent, but it was a heck of a tragedy.
