This actually REALLY helps with panic attacks. I felt like I was going to actually die before this and now I feel sooo much better. Thank you so much, Vulfpeck
Just thought you should know that at the end of this song, while I was reading your comment, a Dawn dish soap commercial started playing and the jingle went: “And I feel better now . . .”
You know those moments when a certain song has a Pavlovian effect on you? One time, I listened to this song while I was sick and trying to feel better. When I listened to this song, I felt sick, but I smelled smells of beef ichiban noodles, felt the warmth of a blanket, and felt more relaxed and ready to go to sleep. I might have not been sick, but I felt like I was getting better. I guess we're all sick in one way or another. This song is powerful. Thank you.
Also, I couldn't place it at first, but the EbM7 - Dm/F groove is strongly reminiscent of "I'll be around" by the Spinners...a song I haven't heard or thought of in decades. Incredible how this unlocked that distant memory.
I love your live shows, so loose and having fun and the fans are into your groove (Joe Dart...) but your studio stuff really, really, did I say REALLY? Brings out the band's outstanding musicians. Your recordings are fantastic...I been listening/watching you guys since 2012. You've come a long way... thanks for just doing it your way...
I happened to be listening to this song for the twelvetieth time with some good headphones, and for the first time it struck me what an understated but beautiful guitar part Theo played on this lovely song. It always makes me think of my beloved late wife. A beautiful composition.
Not gonna lie, I have no idea why I specified four years. Kind of odd. Vulfpeck is still circulating through my music collection, though, so I've definitely listened to this quite a lot over the past four years.
This video/music made me cry. I thought of all the pets I've loved and lost over the years, and their unconditional love, right to the very end. There's something hauntingly beautiful about these chords and melody that stirs up my emotions and brings tears to my eyes.
They are pretty well known in relative terms (folk in 2018 just don't seem to place music high on their pedestals anymore) but I hear you man it's a damn shame. If they were around in the 70's they'd have been huge.
@@soniccucumber6639 Ye, I've been telling everyone I know for the past few years to listen to their stuff cause it's so good. I usually show them Animal Spirits or Back Pocket or Dean Town when wanting them to hear what they're like. But they have such good stuff like this song that's just pure chill.
I can't get enough Vulf. It's like that thing i been missing my whole life. It's all brand new but so familiar somehow. This beautiful funk music makes my life so much better

I'm not sure how I will ever breath without these soothing sounds and shapes. Perhaps I will finally be released from this fleshy prison and achieve eternal nervana !
wasn't ready for this song.. man oh man soooooo glad I found this among all the rest of these songs +vulfpeck y'all funky and that rhodes sound takes me way back.. haha reminds me of the theme song to Taxi
I didn't smile, but I realized I breathe too much with my belly and it might be affecting my asthma, so I tried with each breath to pump directly and only from the chest and I found it to be quite a struggle, even causing me to become a bit light-headed and having the right side of my face go a bit numb. Great stuff here, thanks!
I got to know Vulfpeck while playing Beatstar in my android phone (back pocket). I wen't to youtube and I found the videoclip amazing. THEN I realized Theo Katzman was in it and I got like ahhhhhhhh I adore him since I got addicted to the song "What did you mean(when you said love)" And then youtube was too clever when he suggested me this video. I've had a f* depressing week.... and this video made laugh a lot and I feel like my lungs are full of life again. Thank you for this 🤗
Did the breathing...great. Would be cool if the rate of the unfolding polygons gradually slowed leading us into ever deeper and slower breath! But wow, was that groundbreaking. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
my cousin did this breathing exercise at my house and when the video ended it went black and he was still holding his breath since no more shapes were there, i guess he likes vulf so much because now hes on the ground staring at the ceiling and hes turning blue
I happened to be listening to this song when I was forcing a thick trunk of a poop out of my haha region and now everytime I hear it it brings me back to that moment thank you vulfpeck

I love being able to pick up the chords from watching Woody's hands. Learning these sweet jams makes me smile like dog.
Would you be so kind as to share? I want to propose to my jam friends to learn this one cause it would be so fun to play!

Oh yeah, I can hear some similarity there. This is a just a more chilled version of that feel.
Thank you so much I could hear the melody but couldn't think of the name of the song
It is! thanks for reminding me of that song
Like "I'll Be Around,' there is no "I" Chord (the song is in "Bb" but there is no Bb Major.
Was listening this song when I found out my good friend since age 4 passed away from an OD.. this song brings those feels back strong.
So sorry for your loss. We all love you here.

I think this is one of your best tracks. This is the most perfect driving song... so funky, so chill.

+Anton Weisz You should do a few vocal classes to get your breathing adjusted :)
+Anton Weisz Breathing from the belly is better, it's called diaphragmatic breathing and most people don't do it enough.
+Anton Weisz Read what you wrote in the voice of Stan's cousin
Make a circle with your thumb and forefinger and breathe through that. It will make the air go to all the right places.
