I got a boxer dobberman mix 8 months old she's in that biteing stage. With her i tell her get your toy. And she does. But be prepared to play tug o war for about an hour and a half lol.

Did your boxer puppy stop biting? Mine is 4 months old and when over excited wont stop jumping up and biting my sleeve. I take her to puppy class but she's so excited by the other dogs that she just goes crazy biting me and acting like a savage.
Mine is a mixed breed boxer and Australian shepherd and the only problem is at night he is up n think it's playtime and biting playing when it's bedtime and scared of noises. He has came a long way the farm we got him from he didn't act like a dog for two weeks. And he had bad ear infection and fleas like crazy and they locked them up together in a barn during the night and out in a cage at daytime and no socializing with other dogs and people .

I love boxer dogs, I’m going on my second, my sister had two which made me won’t one. My first was a girl and she was the most sweat and caring dog me and all my friends have seen. Now we have a boy and as he ages he gets better and better, the only problem we have is that when I the man of the house give him a treat if we even get close to his face while eating his treat he growls and almost nips or bites us. Very aggressive. How can I stop this? We have a five year old girl and she is always messing with him, I would hate to have to get rid of him or something just because he had this own issue.
Dear sir, First of all thank you for this great information. Since a couple of months we addopted a boxer dog that is 7 years old from our grandfather that passed away. Last weeks, we really found our selfs in trouble with the fact that the dog is bitting. He is not really biting familiar people, the problem mostly occurs with visiters whom he does not know and people on the streets. As a family, we always kept dogs but never experienced such a problem. Do you think your tips would also be applicable for an adult dog? Do you maybe have any tips/ some advice, what we could do to handle this problem correctly? It would really upset us if we have to leave the dog since it belonged to our grandfather. It helps sometimes to show your the pack leader. I have a boxer Doberman mix. She bleeds me sometimes. I tell my puppy get your toy. She's 8 months old. I found a bunch of different toys with different textures help. The big rope knot toys are great for bigger dogs and hard rubber toys.
I really hope this helps because I am considering turning him in to the humane society. I feel really bad about it because I have never given up on a dog ever.
