My Boxer is crate trained and has been for years. Recently my Ex and I decided to separate, and I am crating now instead of Her. He goes in without issue with my Ex and my Stepson but displays the barking and crying when I crate. He is by my side when I am home, my concern with exercise is I live in Arizona where it is very hot 8 months out of the year. I don't make a ton of money, so daycare is out and don't have friends to leave him with. I have 2 other dogs that I think the behavior is upsetting to increasing my stress.

A lot of this was extremely helpful.!If I say snacks he could be asleep in one room and will run to get in his crate. Inside he willl bark uncontrollably so clearly this is more likely obnoxious learnerned behavior more than separation anxiety most likley I help :( badly. I definitely love my little dude buts I’m not sure what to do to help Him and it’s going to cost me my marriage. I’ve done such a bad job with him thar even tho I thought i was trying i wasnt tryning correctly. I in apartments and know my boxer would benefit from exercise first and foremost and i need to make this my number one priority. Taking him outside is already quite then challenge and if we see other people or other dogs while out he looks complerelty out of control to the point wheee I avoids going down when are likes to be out and can hardly every get him accross tthe parking lot the fenced in play area to have him get extra exercise and then I have to hope and pray no one else decides they’d like to use the park tool. I feel like that Would be the absolute first place to start. My wife can no longer take him out because he’s biggern and stronger and has refused all leash training and every kind of harness I could buy didnt seem to help. I had been working with him since was as a baby and he’s learned anlot umforrunatelty most all of is my fault and I don’t even known where to beginn

Hi! I'm considering getting boxer puppy in summer (i'll be at home all time for two months). After that i'll got to go back to work and leave dog usually 6-7 hours home alone (maybe not every day). Can boxer get through harmlessly such period of time without me?

I think so, just crate train em and leash them outside alone so often. Even if she cries and cries. He has to know when it’s time to go in and that alone time is also safe time too
