I had a boxer from birth to end… what an amazing dog he was… super silly.. very goofy… he took 2 years before he was really house broken.. I miss him a lot. It’s unfortunate that a lot of ppl can’t handle this breed and give them up before the 2 years are up. It’s a very special dog I find very rewarding… very heart broken when I lost him to cancer … which is the other issue with this breed .. lots of cancer…

I found a stray I had to check for chips no advertisements anything so we have been together for some time now he is very protective playful and fun. He's white with long ears which I would never consider having ears dots and tails cropped again I'm sorry I ever did that and there are some beautiful boxers and animal shelters. Yes I've been guilty in the past of buying boxers but I was blessed have found one. He is white brindle spots on him but the main color is white. Beautiful black muzzle big black eyes almost black I was asking my veterinarian what breed he was he said he was a pit bull mix I do not see that whatsoever. Hey love children I mean he absolutely adores children he brings me toys all boxes bring you toys when you get back to the house I think from shopping or picking up groceries. After vacation wherever they are so affectionate and extremely smart. Mine is full of Sass and vinegar and I love IT. Yes he's energetic but what is wrong with that because we need to get out of the house. I'm taking him hiking soon and I'm not worried about anybody bothering me with him. The tale is for balance the ears are for being able to hear far off so don't dock and crap meaning docking the tail and cropping the ears you just messing up. If God did not mean for them to have that he would have already taken it off now I know some are born that way with their tails docked already. But the ears are not cropped when they are born. I am just really curious to see if this is a miniature boxer he's absolutely gorgeous his muzzle is black and he has beautiful cut features I would say is weight is about 44 to 45 lb. And yes his main color is white with brindle and black spots on him he is beautiful ❤️ I guess you can tell I love him.😊❤❤

I’ve had Boxers for years, potty training is the area the most focus should be applied. Some will tell you they are stubborn they are not, they are lazy big difference. Everything else with Boxers is easy, they are wicked smart and respond extremely well to praise. Never ever shout at your boxer, they are emotional beyond belief and take it to heart. One final trick, Boxer kryptonight is cheese, regular yellow square 🟨 cheese is perfect, they will do anything for cheese. Don’t over do it they have really bad gas. I been lucky enough to have boxer dogs my hole life. I am 68 years old and my boxers have save my life and my family from intruders and attacks out in the world My parents had them as guard dogs too. They are my best and most LOYAL FRIENDS. If only they could live longer.This world 🌍 should invest more money 💰 in resources to help boxers to live longer instead of war. Losing a BOXER is like losing a child.

We just put down our fifth boxer who suffered from denerative myelopathy. We have a deposit down on a puppy who will arrive at his forever home mid-August. We just could not see ourselves owning any other breed. They bring is joy, entertainment, companionship, very very smart and trainable. You must exercise your boxer daily or they can become obese.

The Boxer is so much more elegant and classier. I am biased I guess.

Our boxer got excited by the beach ball and jumped for it, straight into the pool. That dog sunk like a stone with lead weights tied around it's neck! We had quite the time yanking her out of the pool.

Great advice. Just want I need. My boxer and her mate that's a nutty chocolate lab love to rough play. But I wasn't sure if I was doing the correct thing. But thankfully we are able to get them to stop when we decide it's enough and they will listen.

If you have a pool please make sure you have a way for your dog to EASILY get out (Ramp, Steps) they rarely can pull themselves out over the ledge (if ever) and can drown. Dogs should be supervised in a pool in my opinion.

LABRADOR very food focused will eat until its sick then eat more. Boxer eats what it needs. I free feed my boxers large bowl of quality kibble toped up every two to three days No issues with over weight for all four dogs and thirty five years. Try that with a Labrador .

Why show dogs with cropped ears ?

Boxers don’t really drool that much, unless they are watching you eat something. I have owned Boxers for 20years. They calm down a lot after they are about 2. Best family dogs ever!!!

Boxers are easier to handle because they're not as protective and territorial as Cane Corso, but they're more stubborn and goofy, also lower on the IQ so it's harder to train them, still somewhat recommended to novice dog owners. Cane Corso needs a bit more experienced dog owner and needs to be the true leader because you can't let it make its own decisions. It's a lot of dog and protective genetics that will get you in trouble if you can't control one. Insanely smart dogs, and they love to please their owner, so take the opportunity and train one well.

Every breed nowadays has problem with guarding instinct and generally working abilities because of the show lines, boxers are not something different, they are alert dogs and not real guardians, if you put them pressure they will flight, if you choose working line kennel then you can have a decent boxer with good temperament, but it is not usual for a kennel to breed for temperament, so don't full yourself...
