Shamans cast earth spells, Terra is another word for Earth. Also the flavour for Consume is because Vipers could damage your own buildings to regain energy in SC2 :)
I've never played StarCraft, and I've weaned out of hearthstone for monetary reasons. I only vicariously play through your videos now. I'm excited to see how the factions will do against each other! I'm more of a Warhammer guy myself, but I might look into the lore and story behind the factions, since I'm liking the zergs a lot :) Druid looks crazy as usual lmao. I'm not trying to complain about it "being too op" or whatever, but it's just funny that it gets all of the shiny toys like overbuffed minions and every-turn board clears. Druid is a bit like Dudley in the first Harry Potter film, where he gets the 36 toys and couldn't possibly appreciate them haha. Like all of the cards they get are strong in a vacuum, and they can't even play with a lot of them because they aren't optimal, but honestly I'm glad that at least one class is getting a lot of fun cards with interesting effects, albeit strong and perhaps not so unique. Druid is like the favorite child of hearthstone devs lol Anyways I'm excited for what factioned-themed decks you'll be cooking up for us! You're like a chef in the hearthstone kitchen bro
You'll see so many parallels between Starcraft and WH40k, I think at the start it was actually supposed to be a 40k game, but the license was never given.
the reason why shild battery is in mage is probably bc the structure use sinetic energy to give your units and structures shield. And the reason blink is in rogue is bc there is a unit in sc2 name the stalker that use that hability who is related to the dark templar. the high templar is in rogue only to have more ways to summon archon
i think with all the zealots its more helpful to think of them as having rush instead of charge, they're primarily board control tools they just have charge for the Funny Reference
This miniset has so much self contained synergy I kinda wish it was a proper expansion instead of a miniset. It has play ideas that don't really have enough cards to realise that idea. Also a fair amount of cards has effects that doesn't exactly match the unit they represent.
I assume some people aren't happy about a Starcraft (mini) expansion Props to the design team for making the cards very synergistic, for the most part You either play no Starcraft cards, or all of them, with little in-between
I've always disliked when card packages are so heavily synergistic and strict that you know for sure that as long as the whole thing doesn't break Tier 2, it's never surfacing again. How long has it been since you've seen a C'thun card played not from some AI boss? This design philosophy is hype for some months and then you have to live with the whole set clogging your collection / being sunk dust cost
One of the annoying things about the Reno hero card is how it felt like every other game you were looking at this smug cowboy man instead of the actual class you’re facing. Feels like its happening all over again with these hero cards. The signatures look cool though
well your only gonna see the terran and protoss heros in decks built for their factions so the themeing is on point and isn't isn't gonna be in every deck for those classes. and the zerg one can only be put in 4 classes unlike reno and seems good in mainly control style decks with the board clear and value minions.
im completely sold on templar rogue, both the templar are very shadowstep-able and cost nothing with the protoss discounts. stealth on DT means its quite likely to stick and if the archon ever lives a turn the enemy portrait explodes
i dunno did any of these cards seem over powered too you? they seemed alright but compared to badlands it seems weak sauce. most of the cards are pretty parasitic so they live and die if the tool kit they got in this set can compete with what we got already and is unlikely to scale well with future sets.
probably the same thing that happens with the starship pieces we have already the base card is the only thing added to the ship regardless of any buffs it receives.
I heard it's called Starcraft because you craft the cards
Craft them from startdust 😅?
@@User_Fri3ndly no i think its vegan friendly
Master Oakheart into carrier is the nuts!? 😂
Thank you Mansion Poo

starcraft 2 campaigns are so amazing to play

37:26 finally we got Dwight schrute in hearthstone 😂
Thank you scansion tool.

Is always a good day when the Martian talks about digital cards.
This miniset has so much self contained synergy I kinda wish it was a proper expansion instead of a miniset. It has play ideas that don't really have enough cards to realise that idea. Also a fair amount of cards has effects that doesn't exactly match the unit they represent.
Thank you Munchkin Boon
thanks for covering this mr buu!

Props to the design team for making the cards very synergistic, for the most part
You either play no Starcraft cards, or all of them, with little in-between
The zurg 1/1 that summons a copy is probably good enough in some decks
I've always disliked when card packages are so heavily synergistic and strict that you know for sure that as long as the whole thing doesn't break Tier 2, it's never surfacing again.

Being a former Semi Pro player in Starcraft 2, Pro in Broodwar, and a enjoyer of arcade THIS SET IS HECKIN AWESOME!!!!!! I LOVE THIS IDEA
I hope we get Starcraft as a full expansion sometime in the future.
I really like you and your content man, we need more Wild representation on yt
Big props n keep it up :)
You really should have done the neutral cards first 😬
I feel like a 2/2 taunt every turn is kinda appealing?

Thanks for the midnight snack, Marshie!

The dark archon stealing an s.c.v and building a new base with it was so fun, thx for the callback marshie!
Chumbo druid and potato DH looking pretty strong in wild
I thought it was Dwight Schrute on thumbnail
Wait, there's no legendary for each class? Where's Alarak? Where's my boy
It's a miniset, not an expansion
Excited for this set just because the card art is finally cool again
Thank you Margin Grew
good evening I hope you are well
This seems like an excessively powerful end to a year that was trying to lower the powerlevel lol
i dunno did any of these cards seem over powered too you? they seemed alright but compared to badlands it seems weak sauce. most of the cards are pretty parasitic so they live and die if the tool kit they got in this set can compete with what we got already and is unlikely to scale well with future sets.
Of course shaman should be Terran: they do Earth magic, Terrans are from Earth
Do we know what happens if you magnetize on a mech starship piece?
probably the same thing that happens with the starship pieces we have already the base card is the only thing added to the ship regardless of any buffs it receives.
Nydus worm doesn't summon an Ultralisk this miniset is RUINED
I understand that class identity went out of the window a while ago but a lot of these cards show just a complete lack of care. Bleh
