I seriously don’t want Stranger things to rip off Avengers Endgame. The show has been popular because it was original . The time travel idea is extremely cliché and it was never fully confirmed that time travel existed in the show nor would eleven have the ability to do so herself.

I think if S5 is about time travel and does copy Endgame, it would be so unoriginal and disappointing. I don’t like when stories default to time travel to solve the conflict because it feels like a cop out. Instead of developing the story or the characters, you just go back and change everything and get rid of mistakes. The only exception to this imo is when the story is specifically about time travel like Back to the Future.
Endgame is also an exception which was not even about time travel
Yeah but another potential problem is that if it does rip off Avengers, then it will always be compared to Endgame rather than be accepted as its own story.

The gang is going to go to Hawkins lab in the upside down because it’s stuck in 1983. They are looking for Brenners files on Dimension X before the lab shut down after season 2…

I agree that having everything in the Hawkins lab is too juicy a resource for team 11 to ignore. Research on the upside down, files on Henry, and files on how to suppress powers. I was thinking that they would search for a "soteria" device or knowledge how the technology works they can use it to stop Vecna from using his powers.
I’m just making things up….but I thought it made the most sense. I read a bit about Dr brenners role in The First Shadow and about his father’s history with the Manhattan project….theres a lot of info they could get from the files.

If El dies, I will literally sue everyone involved for every single item and every penny they have ever owned.
i dont think she will. i think in the final battle she will use all her powers trying to defeat and peopple will think she died but then come back alive and be able to live a normal life without the upsidedown/powers

@@somepersonskywalking thats a pretty good theory. Never Thought of her loosing her powers permanetly. That could happen. But who knows. Some big characters will die. Hopper,El,Mike,Will,Steve who knows. But also when Millie talked about El in s5 and she said that she knows what happens to her character it looked like it was something bad.
I think Will Byers new powers might be, to tap into the hive mind and control it.
I will keep on saying it I think it's up to Will to roll the Dice since he is the sorcerer of the bunch
I feel like the entire upside down has to go In The finale or at least all life inside it. Maybe by like a big fire after or during a fight with vecina and el but who really knows

Well from a couple of set photos that we have seen so far, I would suggest that we would have an episode of 2 that would pick up a second after the end of ST4. By episode 3, we would have about 2 years jump at this point and it would give a deja va moment as it probably feels little similarities to the Avengers: Endgame. Also, Sean Chandler brought up an excellent point during the ST panel where there would be a time travel storyline that would feature some of the dead characters from the series, especially Eddie and Bob which I find it rather interesting idea 🤷🏻♂️
The one book from a set pic was from 1988, I believe. I can't wait man! It's gonna be awesome.

I have a scenario which has been running in my head for over a year: I think that El is gonna save the day but she will be injured badly (Tony Stark style). Mike (or all of the group) will come towards her and tell her with tears "El you are gonna be fine, we just need to get you to a hospital, you will be OK". She says in her last breath "Friends don't lie" and then she dies.
I think that if it happened it would be a great closure to the story and eleven. It would be a reference to the most iconic line of this show, it would be heartbreaking and emotional.
If I had to guess who is gonna die next season I'd say Eleven, Steve, Will
Cool ! But it can either said by Dustin who i think may die after eleven bcz of that ball party theory but also just killing Will after ignoring him for 2 seasons and then setting him up for finale won't be good .
@@AaravAggarwal-ip1rn Yep, makes sense. The answer for question who's gonna die changes for me ,like, on a daily basis. The Duffers are smart and they confused us ( or at least me) when they said that the story of some characters will be finished at the end of s5 (which makes us think about who's gonna die). In addition, Eleven and Steve are the most "predictable" and anticipated characters to die, which maybe makes the Duffers to keep them alive because they don't want the final climax of the story to be predictable and "boring".
Was just rewatching stranger things, myself. I'm on S4...the dinner scene with Murray you can see that same coke can on the table. So, the can means nothing.
It they kill Eleven it would be so predictable and that makes it boring. If the duffers decide to do that, at least they should kill another mayor caracther we all love such as Steve or Dustin (though i don't want that to happen).

I dont rhink it will be dark to the fact that eleven dies, shes still elarning how to live life properly sure it will be dark but no that far i have a feeling el will lose her powers PERMANENTLY destroying the upside down and also she wont be able to get it back event with project NINA, also i have another theory, since were talking about time travel, what if they bring all dr brenners kids/experiements back to the their present from the kids timeline to fight vecna and possibly another monstera, it would be cool considering the fact that vecna did kill them and they would be looking for revenge

To say that el sacrificing herself “makes the most sense for her character arc “ is crazy . After EVERYTHING el has been through, all the trauma, all the growth , all the finding herself , finally having a family , someone THAT LOVES HER FOR HER , finally having a life , to just end it all on her “sacrificing” herself just takes away everything she went through and would be a genuinely lame way to end it . El not having a happy ending and dying after her entire life/ childhood has been her using her powers , being taken advantage of , etc , she’s had nothing close to a normal childhood , she deserves to be happy , to live , to have a life full of happiness after vecna dies , a life where her biggest worries are what movie her and mike are watching that night and what kind of eggos she’s eating .
exactly It wouldn’t make sense to kill El or Will like tony because he died around his brothers and they both love Mike. Although I can still see El going back in time to close the gate without her literally dying. I’m pretty sure Dustin will go out like Tony and we’ll get a similar scene between him and Steve. Peter is literally Steve but in another person with his humor. Eddie will finally be seen as a hero when Dustin dies like tony was.

Why is nobody talking about how there were bats and how Vecna used his big hand only to open gates and he uses his other left hand and his head tilt to move people but only in his mind and how eleven was kas because she betrayed Vecna.
While we have heard that Season 5 might include time travel, I don’t think time travel is compatible with Stranger Things TBH. The main reason is because it’s the kind of story with kids/teens solving a paranormal mystery lurking in their town, and time travel doesn’t really have a place in that. I also don’t think it’s needed for the circumstances our heroes find themselves in at the end of Season 4, since all they really need to do is kill Vecna and close the gates spreading across Hawkins. With Infinity War half of everyone was snapped out of existence and in Endgame they had to travel back in time to get the infinity stones, and in Terminator time travel was introduced from the start and stuck throughout the entire series. The heroes could also use it to kill Vecna and basically erase every event and bit of development that occurred throughout the series. It would be similar to that Jumanji like ending where it was all just a DND campaign the kids were playing the whole time. We’ll see what happens though.

I have a theory: I think that in season 5 they will destroy (not close but destroy) the upside down and then because of that it will it to reverse everything that happened so everybody comes back (max, barb, Billy etc)

This comparison is ridiculously pointless because they already retconned a bunch of shit in stranger things 4, who's to say they won't just retcon more in this season? In marvel there were at least rules the plot had to abide by in endgame. Stranger things doesn't have those same rules clearly, otherwise the gate would have opened when she sent 001 to the upsidedown, not conveniently afterwards when the first season started. I really hope they don't fuck up everything that happened in season 1 by forcing the plot forward with time travel.

Seriously she needs still alive after the S1 ending let us believe that she was dead. But it doesn’t mean that Millie needs to play her again. Millie deserves to play a lot of other characters through her career.
Will gets powers along with Kali and el. Will's powers will be similar to fireballs - pyrokinesis perhaps? See Steven King's novel from 1980 - fire starter 👀- another term for this is also known as "telepyrosis"
I've said for awhile that if season 4 was Infinity War (which i do believe it took some inspiration from) then Season 5 is gonna be like Endgame.. I also think the Deathly Hallows (parts 1 and 2), The Return of the King, the Battle of the Five Armies and Return of the Jedi ( the Empire Strikes Back was one of the big influences on season 4) will serve as inspiration
I think that Stranger Things has references to all the popular horror movies of the 80s.
The more theories I'm hearing, the more little bits the Duffers share with us and the more time that goes by I'm realizing I really have no idea what or how they are planning to finish the series. I think no matter what I'll be surprised and none of it is going to be accurately predicted. I do wish they maybe hadn't gone so extreme for Season 4 but at the same time that makes me think they are going to hone back in and bring things full circle.

I cannot express how much I hate the idea of time travel in this show. I’m so afraid this season is going to disappoint, but I trust the duffers. Hopefully, they don’t fumble.

No one knows what it's about. So let's wait until it actually comes out.
I have had a huge theory that they use lights to communicate with themselves in the past and that's why the lights were flickering in the first season because they were trying to stop Will from vanishing because he is starting to disappear physically like Marty McFly in the present BUT they fail obviously because he does get taken so they keep trying and eventually change to trying to communicate with Joyce through the lights that Will is alive. I think Joyce will remake the Christmas lights letter board in the present (which is the future) and tell herself to RUN for example. Meaning the time travel of sorts is more comparable to the letter in Back to the Future II. I always wondered how Will would communicate RUN in that part as the letter board didn't exist in the upside down. I think the upside down form looks like Hawkins because it is the present Hawkins where the upside down is unleashed but it is stuck in 1983 because they have to send the light messages to the past and when they do time resumes and the destroyed hawkins becomes the upside down and Hawkins is restored. I think it's a circular story something like this back to when Mike says to Will maybe everything is happening for a reason and I think that the story everything happened had to happen to save Will in s1.

Personally I hate Endgame so I hope Stranger Things doesn’t rip off any of it. You really think they’re going to kill Hoppers other daughter? I hope not, especially after his speech last season about how he’s the curse, and everyone he loves, he hurts. If any main character dies I hope it’s characters like the Russian guys and Murray and If a real main character has to die then I hope it’s Hopper. As much as it would upset me I would rather have him die saving Eleven than have him watch his daughter die again. But really, I hope they rip off the Return of the Jedi ending and everyone is happy lol.

I think it's extremely important to the show that the long gates that were opened in at the end of season 4 are very very difficult to close if not impossible to close. If it's too easy it will feel lame, like a build up to really not much. Like winter is coming from a different show and winter wasn't that long for them. They will probably have some terminator references in season 5. Maybe a nod to a horror movie they like a lot that they haven't referenced before. Yeah I don't mind though if Max has a power that helps the team or a certain someone comes back with a few vampire powers. However I would like a whole or most of a team/party effort to kill 001 for good but that's over 15 main characters alone at the moment so, seems tricky to achieve. Maybe they could have a portion of the party captured to make it easier numbers wise. This half will fight, this half is captured and needs saving. Maybe the party can't kill 001 for good so they don't have to make a new villain that people seem to like quite a bit for a spin off.
What if instead of Eddie as vecnas vampire general; he uses max as his puppet gaining eleven’s trust in searching for her only to be trapped by vecna.

I hate to say it, but what you said about 11 actually makes so much sense, then it's all gone, all of it. And leaves no room for anyone to harp on another series, if you want to end a series so no-one actually want to see more, you would take the heart of the show, because the show won't work without the heart, ugh, i wish I'd never watched it 🤦♀️ it was the very first thing i ever watched on Netflix, it was the reason i got Netflix on, and one of 3 reasons I've kept paying for Netflix, the other 2 are Korean odyssey and missing the in-between, i don't think i can watch the end, i spent half a day crying at commercials from Thailand, commercials! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😄😃 it's to emotional 😄😃 thank goodness for stranger things bloopers ✌️🦘🇦🇺💞.
I believe that Hawkins will be quarantined by the government and the Hawkins residents have to band together in a post-apocalyptic scenario where the UpsideDown has overtaken their town.
If you notice in season 4 by the end they use flashbacks when it plays Metallica and when eleven is trying to revive max I think it will be more of that really.
I think it would be a cool twist if they kill everyone in one version of events we see as an older eleven flashback without knowing it. then we find out its old eleven remembering things & we see how her coming to the past changed things in some big reveal. that would be a mindf*ck

These are my deaths if I ran the show.
Mr Wheeler: He dies protecting his family and gets redemption as a character.
Jonathan: Dies protecting Steve and Nancy, and redeems his character
Robin: Vecna kills her, good death because she has no family or love interest that we know of
Murray: Vecna kills him, also doesn’t have family or love interest
Eleven: It all started with her, and it has to end with her
Also, I think they are really regretting not killing off Max. It was such a great and heartbreaking death.

@FilmStocked , I know you would not want Kali to return, and I don’t think almost fans want her to return. I doubt she’ll be put in the final season. But if she is in the final season here are the possibilities to me:
1.) I think she would definitely be on Vecnas side. And maybe Eleven will try to convince her to not.
2.) Vecna killed Kali and is using her powers
- please let me remind y’all that Kali can make people imagine things…….. why did each and everyone of Vecnas victims imagined and saw things….. like spiders ( Kali made the guy see a spider ).
* I understand there is a big plot hole to my theory because Victor creel also saw things as he was in some sort of trance.
But anyway I feel like vecna and Kali are similar in those ways. I don’t know how they connect or if they’ll never put her back in the show or if it’s just a coincidence.
But what if Kali is in a coma like max is. Or what if vecna was Kali the whole time? Even in season 2…
