Lucas’s watch it has the day and date TH -11 -2 the only year in the 80’s with that date is Thursday Nov. 2 1989. I would be really surprised if they skipped that much time.

Nah, I just don’t see it as it wouldn't make sense. Because, it seems like The Duffer Bros have a plan for Max’s storyline in season 5 and it is most likely she would be blinded and paralyzed

It's a theory, sound waves on her shirt may indicate hinting they may use sound waves to her brain playing Running up that hill. So Lucas will play that song to wake her up. Sam Owens may still be alive to help Max. In which they haven't mentioned him yet! So I say Paul Raiser will be back too.
With the mix tape Lucas might have been playing it while max is in a coma cuz vecma might have been trying to control/Possess max while she’s in a coma!!!!😭
Right? He might be using Running Up That Hill to try and bring Max back but also to keep VH1 away from her.

These new photos of Max and Lucas, and the paparazzi picture of Eddies grave for season 5 are probably the biggest for me. I’m so glad Max is or will be alive, I do hope so. I do think the pictures crossed out were scenes of David Harbour.
Lucas' watch shows TH (Thursday) Nov. 2nd which would make the time jump 1989 as this day and date corresponds to that year.

When Will was in Castle Byers in his time in the Upside Down (singing should I stay or should I go) , I think it wasn't the demogorgan that entered. If it were the demogorgan, it's instincts would initially be to feed and consume but when Will was rescued, there were no real injuries, he was only deprived of food.
Maybe it was Vecna who destroyed castle buyers to get to Will in the castle buyers? and establishing his connection to the upside down even when the mind flayer was out of him?
it is definetly castle buyers from the past, because of the flag and it's resemblance to how it was before Will destroyed it. I think Will might have also destroyed it because it was the place where Vecna attacked him?? He feels guilty and destroyed it in season 3 (and his fight with mike contributed to it as well)
Also, Max is definetly healing, the cast is off her arm! In hopes that she makes it!

There could be a chance, Lucas can be playing her song to the point she will wake up. Running up that hill may wake her up. We may revisit the Byers Castle by seeing a look alike of a Noah like they did with Millie in season 4. Or they may have extra footage they made from season 1. To keep for the final. Max's song maybe a experiment sound waves to her brain wake her up.

OMG, I’m so excited, thanks for keeping us posted, I feel like the days are going much shorter and maybe the wait till the release of stranger things 5 won’t be as long, but I also can’t wait until the full list of episodes are revealed and when are first trailer comes out, I am so hyped, and I just can’t wait.

the show takes place in 1989 i did research the only year in the 80s that had november 2nd and was on a thursday was 1989
Has anyone looked at the Day of the week on the watch? That could pinpoint the year the season takes place as the date and day of week changes each year. I just looked at the watch and it says Thursday I think. If you look at the year where Thursday is on November 4th, the year is 1986.
I don’t understand how there could be a time jumó when the 4th season ended on such a cliff hanger. Like they can’t just jump to two years later since at the end of season 4 the whole town is collapsing. The only thing I can think of is if they show the future and then have flashbacks to the past and how they saved the town which I felel would be kind of dissapointung.
They had no choice for a time jump, the duffers didn't write it in. It was due to the writers strikes and the kids are young adults now so it was the only way to explain their aging.

The watch says TH 11- 2 = 1989 ! TH=Thursday ... Nov 2nd fell on a Thursday...in 1989. in 1988 = Wed ... 1987 = Mon ... 1986 = Sun (Nov 6th of 1983 was a Sunday)
My stranger things 5 predictions
- hawkins officer wilson woods (played by Samuel l Jackson) started working for vecna to destroy hawkins.
- an account named joseph (played by Andrew McCarthy) who joins the team to stop the monsters from coming into hawkins.
- joseph is killed by the monsters when they were trying to come in.
- officer Wilson woods is killed by kali, her gang, dr jordan, dr cornwel,l and jim hopper to save mike.
- a monster goes on a rampage in hawkins
I looked through imdb last night to see who was listed as 2025 and the actress that played kali only has credits for her episode in season 2. Oddly enough the entire wheeler family is listed as 2025 except the guy who plays ted.
I also found the same thing with the watch but it also says Thursday meaning it was Nov 2 Thursday which there actually was one in 1989…

Castle Byers is actually completely destroyed which you can see in season one when hopper and Joyce go in the upside down looking for will and then you can see that it is completely flat and destroyed by the demogorgon

With the night woods scene being shot at night in the mountains of north Georgia in the fall time thats most likely real fog not fake fog. But they will most likely use fog machines if its not foggy enough or the natural fog gets blown away.
