What's your preferred method for drying bowls? My patience is surely the limiting factor right now 😂

Stuff them in a paper bag with shavings. And when you get impatient, just turn another one!
Don't forget to label them properly (date, wood and perhaps weight if you want to check that.)
Start building a stash. You will be surprised at how quickly they add up. This weekend I turned one that I had almost forgotten about. It had been in the shop for over a year and it was bone dry. Looks great now (sorry, I didn't film it).

@@emgiwoodworks I've heard about the paper bag and shavings method. Will try it now that I got some extra time off work!

      Thank you James!
Glad you liked it, I'm a big fan of natural edge bowls. 😀
Send me a picture when you made one yourself!

That is a really nice bowl!!!! Your tenon is way to long though

      Thank you! 🙏
Yeah, that tenon is the effect of me getting rid of the rotten parts of the initial design, which made the tenon very long. Couldn't think of an easy way to part it off to a better length so left it on and crammed it all in the piranha jaws 😂

@@TheWorkshopLog Since you had it between centers the only thing you could’ve done was part it half way through and then use a saw to finish cutting it

Ooh.. Well you made that sound easy! 😂😂
That's great advice, I'll keep that in mind next time!
