Trailer for my Book, Songs of Thalassa, based on backstory for the main character in the book, Sage Thompson. The trailer shows her early years growing up with her astronaut father in Hawaii, the rise and fall of her epic surfing career, and her rivalry with Milo Carter that ultimately leads her to Thalassa. The story ends where the book begins when she travels to the ocean planet.
The story is set to the music of Sage's Song from the book written by her father before he left to Thalassa. The lyrics were written by me as they appear in the book, and the music was AI-generated by Suno.
Most of the video uses imagery created by Midjourney V. 6 and videos were created by RunwayML Gen-2. The video was edited using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier Pro.
