The Admiral and his chaps are very kind but also great at looking after Kizzy. They'd been in the army so knew how to look after someone with a fever and were practical. That Cuthbert woman knows that really- she just wants to see poor Kizzy put in an orphanage.
Thinking that three men couldn't look after a little girl is so sexist. It is unbelievable in this day & age. A couple of gay men I know have now adopted three children who desperately needed home & family & are bringing them up happy, healthy & loved. Thank goodness attitudes have changed. Wish I could have been adopted. Spent my childhood repeatedly being beaten unconscious by my mother.
them bullies should be sent to borstal that evil cuthbert women never changes but if her daughter was sent to borstal it would ruined her reputation wipe terrilble smirk off her face
I remember when I was 10 when this was on TV. I had such a crush on Vanessa Furst. I can't find any information on her apart from the fact that she was in this series. I wonder whatever happened to her.
I loved this series when I was a girl. I was 8 at the time and loved Kizzy. I hadn't seen it since all those years so lovely to see this series again.
I remember seeing this when I was a child. I was being bullied at primary school at the time, it was like Kizzy and I were both in it together.
Exactly the same with me, I was being bullied at school at the time when Kizzy was on the tv in 1976. It’s great to watch it again.
I was bullied at school too and I felt just like Kizzy too, us against the world
Watched it when I was younger but it’s breaking my heart 😢
Looks very much like our first daughter when she was little! So pretty. Lovely program thank you so much for sharing
What a lovely man the Admiral is , and Kizzy is precious ❤
Always remembered this when i was at school rushing home to watch it 😂😊
The little girl who plays Kizzy is stunningly beautiful.
She reminds me of a young Princess Diana :)

Thank you so much - have really wanted to watch this again. I barely remember watching it but know I loved it and the book
The scene with the admiral deciding who will shop for clothing for Kizzy, cracks me up. I hope the last three episodes are uploaded.
It was lovely seeing the three old blokes looking after her.
Ann Other they did good I'm glad she was shown some kindness...
@GABRIEL COELHO It is based on a book

Kindness is so important. We all need kindness. Life is hard enough as it is without that we are hard towards each other.
@@sarahstrong7174 Well it's a good job nobody thought they couldnt look after her isnt it -- that would be so presumptious
That woman is a class A troublemaker.
She is toxic.
She is a famous actress starred in avengers , the saint , upstairs downstairs
