- We found one of Yelp’s worst rated plastic surgeons to work on Taji’s face.
Some reviews mention Dr. Mirza works out of gym bags, others say he works under different aliases at various locations. Either way, the reviews warned us to be very skeptical. But this show is all about giving fair chances and offering redemption, so we rolled the dice as usual.
Taji’s procedure involved Botox of the forehead, fillers between the eyes, and around the mouth. Can Taji keep his youthful glow?

Yeah I've had a lot of bad experiences with doctors but this guy is a whole other level of sketchy. Like blatant sketchiness.... he's mentally ill IMO.

I truly don't mean to sound racist, but I've seen my share of doctors throughout my life. I always got the feeling that the Indian doctors I did have, always seemed to talk down to me like "You dumb, stupid American." No, this was not the case with all, but quite a few of them to notice. To be fair, their treatment and medical skills (which is what matters the most) was always good, but their personal skills were shite. "You are stupid whiteboy; take two of deez and go f*ck yourself. Have a nice day."
@@stevedcase I don't think it was about race, they just tend to suck at medicine and have poor bedside manner. I haven't met too many good Indian doctors at all and I live I the mecca of medical care. I fact most of them have been down right malicious.

Halfway through the video and I can see so many wrong things here.
1. The MD is pushing the correspondent to get procedures he isn't interested in. When I had a problem with my double chin, I went to a *reputable* plastic surgeon (who does more than injections of fillers/botox/acids, she did actual surgery too) and her first question was "OK, so what's bothering you about your appearance?" She didn't want to sell me on treatments for areas I wasn't concerned about.
2. My MD also leaned to the minimum necessary/most conservative treatment: "We could do surgery, but I think that would be overkill. Kybella would likely be cheaper, less invasive, and I think you will get a better result. You could also consider coolsculpting." She took her time to do differential diagnosis and the consultation and treatment happened in different visits (giving me, the patient, time to consider before taking the plunge.)
This guy seems like a scummy med-spa technician rather than a doctor.

Just want to clarify few things for some of you;
Any MD/DO with a state medical license can start a "derm"/beauty office and do Botox, laser, etc. Doesn't mean he's a plastic surgeon.
I doubt this guy is a board certified plastic surgeon.
How is no one talking about that he had his treatment while sitting on what looks like a table. Botox and filler is supposed to be done on a bed so the head has support while the needle is pushed in

I'm an aesthetics practitioner and would tell anyone to stay away from Juvederm. It's a first generation filler which is nothing but a money grab. It's mostly used by over expensive clinics who knows you're lucky to get 2 months out of it just for you to come back and being blamed it didn't last. Many of my clients have had it in the past and said the exact thing. There are far better fillers on the market today.
Which fillers do u recommend? I noticed most doctors have juvederm.
@@tinas2178 Depends what country you're in. Here in the UK, our preferred ones are Regenovue (I use this), EPTQ and Kairax - all good, long lasting fillers.

@Taji - I've really been enjoying your one star review content - This in particular shows your commitment to the content and as far as I'm concerned cements your name in folk law - You sir are a legend.
I know you just did this for the show, but I work for a doctor who does a lot of cosmetics and I can tell you that your face is perfect and needs no changing whatsoever you have very tight skin. We lose 1% of our collegan and each year after we turn 30 so you have a ways to go before you have to worry
Also you are an incredibly brave soul for getting some of that done when they were literally working out of gym bags and showing you lawsuit waivers we would never ever do something like that where I work or bribe patients to leave good reviews

Edit: this statement has proven to be moot in the US, as regular doctors are apparently allowed to perform plastic surgery. I’ll leave this here because the discussion is important and interesting
ailem 2707 he’s probably not board certified. You can be an MD or DO, but without a board certification, you can’t say much for yourself.
Injecting units of Botox and filler is not plastic surgery. It’s not a surgery of any kind. And I didn’t see anywhere where this medical doctor claimed to be a plastic surgeon. What he is doing is aesthetic medicine. Placing a needle and injecting. This is elementary/basic clinical skills that every doctor, nurse, phlebotomist, etc performs on a daily basis and requires no residency, special licensure, nothing. It’s a basic, competency clinical skill that all medical providers perform often.
duramaxwelder he probably doesn’t have any proper training. He probably has less training than an aesthetician. If he were to be board certified to do this, it would be in plastic surgery. While he may not be doing surgeries, it’s a skill that is within that specialty.
YaBoiLisandro I can assure you that the unfathomable amount of knowledge and training those physicians must go through in school and then licensure, they, at bear minimum, have at least the most basic skills necessary to diagnose and then treat, as you see here in the video. The skill of assessing wrinkles and frown lines I.e. assessing skin tissue, is another basic assessment skill that is fundamental to all health care providers, in this case, to all physicians regardless of specialty. You say injecting Botox is done by plastic surgeons? Just what do dermatologists do? I personally know a physician who owns/operates a medical spa providing Botox, filler, permanent makeup, fraxel, laser hair removal, and much more. The spa has been running for 20 years. That physician is a board certified emergency room doctor, yet that doc is practicing aesthetic medicine. Just sayin
ACTUALLY, since you said it, in the USA if you have medicinal license in ANY field (yes, even child care) you can legally do plastic surgery. So even with no practice, no experience, no knowledge, he is allowed to do what he’s doing. Anyone can lease a building, open a business, and, with his medical license, can open and operate a business like that And fund his only positive reviews. Shame.

Dodgy as...no dr would make his patient sit up whilst doing injections. Its also a safety measure to make sure patients are laying back on a bed in case of fainting plus it keeps the patients head more steady.
Botox needs to be kept refrigerated. The gym bags are dodgy to me. Products always comes in an insulated box to keep the cold chain going. It looks to me that theses products he uses are not genuine and possibly black market.

It should be refrigerated, at least the medical grade stuff, which I assume is identical to the cosmetic stuff. source: got injections for migraines (36 injections in total each session, 1 session every 3 months, 200 units in total each session (whatever that means)) Free healthcare ftw.

@@StrongOneX a unite would be 1 set of markings on a syringe I believe which is equal to .1ml so 1 1ml syringe which he was using is 10 unites.
@@mcnuggetsferg1685 I'm not sure. The Botox just comes as a fine powder in such a tiny amount you'd think the vial is empty before you look really close. Then you use a syringe to add an amount of saline to it, probably 10,15 or 20ml then you pull the mix out of the vial then it is injected in tiny amounts around different locations.
