Did anyone peep that when they were in the car, shorty said “It will be a good experience from you.” Then she corrected herself and said “for you.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I literally JUST got off of a zoom call with these people and tell me why right off the bat even the zoom call was suspicious as hell. I stuck to what I’ve been told before about agencies not paying upfront and decided to wait on signing up with them because, as you might guess, they were asking for a reduced price of $99 upfront. When I asked the lady quote “how soon do you need us to register with you guys” after she had just sent the link to their site, she told me that she’d prefer that I do it right then and there “while we have you on the call.” 🙄 As I do with any talent agency, after getting a chance to meet with them in person, I then try to look them up for as much information as I can find until I stumbled upon this gem of an artwork. To all my like-minded model and acting seekers, stay safe out there, do your research, and NEVER PAY UPFRONT FEES
Same. The zoom call wasn;t even fave to face, so that tells you something. I am still skeptical, so I haven't paid a single penny for their application.
4:58 Maybe don't use speech-to-text while your mic'd up unless you want everyone to know that you're obviously putting on a show for the cameras which may not be typical for average clients.
You walked in with a professional camera and camera man filming you, of course she is going to put on her best act and do anything she can to make it look like a legitimate company. If she had not known that she was being filmed then your experience would have been much different. The only real photographs a "clients" takes are the ones she photographs herself. You really think that she shuts down the office in the middle of the day, to take a "client" on a 40 minute car ride so they can get professionally photographed at that very moment? No, she only did that that because she knew she was being filmed. You should use spy cameras and blur out the faces of people. Then you would get an honest experience and an accurate review of the company. People show who they really are when they think no one's watching.
Secretary lady: "I always say if you even have one thought about it, GO FOR IT!" Also secretary lady: "if it's just a phase and you're not 100% committed, then you should not jump right in!" She's reallllly good at smooth talking. Pro, even.
they weren't making fun of him they were lightly teasing his young look because the producer and camera guy told them to do this. god you people so soft
Talent agencies are suppose to get you into auditions and projects. If an actor books a job, agent gets 10 percent of what the actor makes. If an agent or manager asks for upfront fees WALK AWAY! I pretty much laughed when they asked a monthly fee lol
When that woman told him not to be nervous; it was such a power move. Probably something she learned at a business development seminar lol. It was a role reversal that she thought made her look more in control of the situation but in fact, from the outside looking in, it looks defensive af.
rachelle5694 technically it is not, because if you’re smart and read the papers that you sign, you understand what you signed up to get (which is not that great anyway), morally i would say it is a scam, since most people that came in to the office were beyond dumb and paid the $500+ thinking they were gonna get famous right away and get booked on all these castings with 0 experience
@@paulina7047 I see. Thank you! Would you say in comparison to other talent agencies that they milk you out of a lot that normally one wouldn't pay for?

The Way He Cons People Into Thinking He’s Socially Awkward Is..Genius , To The Point That EVERYONE Thinks He’s Like That . I Just Shat My Pants Thinking About That
Bears Not Chairs he is playing a character. Very well at that, and it goes over a lot of people. You don’t think he doesn’t know how to cross his arms? It was to garner a response from the photographers to create a window to examine their subsequent reaction. Think Nathan Phillips
strange thing is most successful male actors are short af: tom cruise, al pacino, danny devito, micael j fox, elihah wood, ben stiller, jason alexander, prince..etc
I wonder why it's considered acceptable to insult people for their height, when it's no more choice than a person's natural skin color. Also being taller than average increases the risk of a lot of diseases and is generally correlated to shorter lifespan, so why do people so often think short people are the ones with "bad genes"?
There's a reason why they don't actually refer to themselves as an "agency". I went because they posted about casting for a Robert de Niro movie in Philly so I went. They sat us down to wait for the manager to give her speech and, despite the "auditioners" being 80% Black, they showed the world's whitest movie, The Devil Wears Prada. Then they met with everyone one by one, I showed them my headshots, they said they sucked but I could get my own for $499 and they just so happened to have a photographer right there and all I had to do was give them my credit card. When I told them I didn't have it on me (which I did), they said I could come back next week and take care of it. I called later to tell them that I wouldn't be able to make it and the receptionist said, "Good luck in Philly" and hung up on me. So yeah...it's a scam. They work VERY hard to dodge legal liability.
The back of the car scene “I don’t see what could possibly go wrong here” with her smiling reminds me of a production I’ve seen by a company called brazzers..

This dude is hilarious literally doing the opposite on purpose and I love it he's so awkward and strange but he does it on purpose so that makes it that much more real it's amazing.
That lady is good. Really smart scammer, totally made him nervous. Loved her response to the negative reviews. Stay away from that company!
One of the best series on RUclips.

Yup it's a scam.
Wow yeah she pulled a quick 180 on this one.

You’re right. That’s more likely what is going on.

Hey Taji I just wanna say you saved my wife from getting into it with these knuckleheads. I look up to you as someone who loves journalism. Thank you for everything that you do.
P.S. You don't look 12 ever, that producer was just projecting his talentless sad existence.
Did anyone peep that when they were in the car, shorty said “It will be a good experience from you.” Then she corrected herself and said “for you.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You should check out PhilipsoloTV, vice or Taj stole this series from him.

You would love PhilipSoloTV, he came up with the idea and uploads a lot more frequently
When I asked the lady quote “how soon do you need us to register with you guys” after she had just sent the link to their site, she told me that she’d prefer that I do it right then and there “while we have you on the call.” 🙄
As I do with any talent agency, after getting a chance to meet with them in person, I then try to look them up for as much information as I can find until I stumbled upon this gem of an artwork.
To all my like-minded model and acting seekers, stay safe out there, do your research, and NEVER PAY UPFRONT FEES
Same. The zoom call wasn;t even fave to face, so that tells you something. I am still skeptical, so I haven't paid a single penny for their application.
Lmao her awkward stare into the camera after he says, “I don’t really see what could possibly go wrong there...” 🤔
4:58
Maybe don't use speech-to-text while your mic'd up unless you want everyone to know that you're obviously putting on a show for the cameras which may not be typical for average clients.
Good observation
@@adrianthebest3310 I usually only play a detective on tv. But in this case, I'll make an exception.
She's lucky they didn't play the sound of her using the bathroom
@@icanwatchthevideos Imagine they'd have played a fart sound like "oops, busted" when he's mentioning 'exclamation mark' and it were actually hers 😂
The part when the photographer talks behind his back with the echo voice effect is what really killed me 😂😂
They kill this shit , it's pure comedy gold
Please don't stop this series, keep it going for a while longer
Secretary lady: "I always say if you even have one thought about it, GO FOR IT!"
Also secretary lady: "if it's just a phase and you're not 100% committed, then you should not jump right in!"

Perceptive!

It was a role reversal that she thought made her look more in control of the situation but in fact, from the outside looking in, it looks defensive af.
true
Noticed how she tried to intimidate him with her tone and demeanor and then says “oh don’t be nervous “ ...like that’s guilty behavior .
100% her taunting him.
I worked as a Nine9 employee for 6 months in 2019. This video is pretty accurate
So it's a scam?
rachelle5694 technically it is not, because if you’re smart and read the papers that you sign, you understand what you signed up to get (which is not that great anyway), morally i would say it is a scam, since most people that came in to the office were beyond dumb and paid the $500+ thinking they were gonna get famous right away and get booked on all these castings with 0 experience
@@paulina7047 I see. Thank you! Would you say in comparison to other talent agencies that they milk you out of a lot that normally one wouldn't pay for?
rachelle5694 nine9 is not a talent agency, they try to make it clear but people just dont understand they are the UNagency. A real agency will never take money from u upfront, only when u book a job do they take a small percentage of your paycheck
@@paulina7047 Ah I see! Thank you for the clarification!
U guys should go undercover because rolling out with a whole camera crew is totally not inconspicuous

My favorite part is Taji not knowing how to cross his arms.
I am convinced that Taji is playing a character when he does these 😂
he could be actually, thats the only reason I am watching this series
Bears Not Chairs he is playing a character. Very well at that, and it goes over a lot of people. You don’t think he doesn’t know how to cross his arms? It was to garner a response from the photographers to create a window to examine their subsequent reaction. Think Nathan Phillips
Bears Not Chairs obviously
Bears Not Chairs well no shit it's RUclips it's all entertainment

strange thing is most successful male actors are short af: tom cruise, al pacino, danny devito, micael j fox, elihah wood, ben stiller, jason alexander, prince..etc

I like how Taji can be so convincingly and nonchalantly awkward.
I like when they asked him to cross his arms, he literally crossed his arms

The fact that he has a show and they got him zero gigs or anything seems like proof that they are not in the business of actually managing talent.
