    I needed this.
    I told myself: I'm going to start waking up at 4am everyday, sit in front of my laptop, get 15-20 items ready to take to the storage and list them as I put them into a stock location. I am doing this with music CDs as that is my main niche.
    I am also going to take any free minute I have from my job and start going over my listings to start getting rid of things I've had for two years now and lower prices and finally get them out of my storage and most importantly, clear my mind and space.
    I've been at this for about two and a half years and I've accumulated so much stuff. I fell into that trap. I've had amazing weeks and it was due to constantly listing but I also have a full time job and three kids and a wife who depend on me.
    I told myself to just get on it. My titles are great, my photos are great and my item specifics are great. It's the listing part that I need to focus on. I'm fighting myself to keep a schedule but I know I can do it.

    This is exactly what I needed to hear today. I've been down on myself all week because sales have been slow. I know the roller coaster is part of business. I just needed to hear from someone as successful as you to just be patient and it takes time to reach goals. Thank you!

    7:07 You're expecting someone to find one item per store and go to four stores per hour? How realistic is that for 90% of people? That's ten minutes per store, including time to park, look for an item, wait in line and pay for the item, and get back to your car. (40 mins) Then all four stores need to be within less than seven minutes of each other (20 mins.) Now maybe the number of items per hour works as an average, if you're finding more items per store, but my guess is if you only find one item per store the time sunk cost is going to be significantly higher for most people.

      I am an example. Went to the bins for 2 hours. I walk out with $8 worth that was 6 items wow pretty bad if we are talking about the time spent plus the 40 drive 1 way so 80 min. Does not get better at my thrift stores either.

    My largest need is finding items . That's a period. I have been selling for years can list sell keep cost down have space and all but always feel like I can't find enough quality high profit items to make the income you talk of half that at best. If you can get me to find the items I'd buy your program but most of your advice I have down already. Actually most regular sellers I know do

    I have a tiny store. About 127 items with 95 sold, $38 asp with average $5 cog.
    My hardest obstacle is having more time to source. I currently take my toddler with me and only source for an hour each time I go which is about 2-4 days a week.
    So in numbers I think I am doing well. But I beat myself up because I feel like I should be further along. I’ve been doing Ebay since April ‘23.
    Any suggestions for more efficient ways to source when I have limited “in-person sourcing time?

      A lot of resellers do their sourcing on eBay.
      •eBay
      •other reselling platforms
      •Facebook Market Place
      •Craigslist
      •Facebook groups in your area (groups for garage sales, flea market, estate sales etc.)

    eBay isn't showing items it's hard to sell anything. Even if you have good items it's beyond patience. This is with 100% feedback and top seller status. eBay is dead

    You are naive.
    In todays economy nobody can last three years in a job, unless you work for post office.

    • @youaregodspursuit
      @youaregodspursuit 5 месяцев назад +1

      No, there are many paces where you can still work for 3+ years. Just taking a job because it is there is naive. Do a little home work and know where you have applied and what is their current hire/fire ratio. Can't never accomplished anything. Are the people who have been at a job more smart than you are?

    • @nickjohnson2480
      @nickjohnson2480 5 месяцев назад

      Post office doesn't pay that much...BTW. To blame the economy for not lasting 3 years at a job is naive. To quote Jim Rohn, "..no, that's all the company pays you!"

      My husband has been a merchant seaman for 44 years and still going strong. He started young and has seen the world through his employment. There are plenty of jobs out there and starting on the bottom is the only way to know the ins and outs of the business. I did medical accounting for 32 years and have been selling on eBay for 3 years.
