I'm new to reselling online. I do storage unit auctions and just sold stuff at the flea market and local stuff on Facebook marketplace. I probably missed out on hundreds of thousands of dollars seeing all the stuff that I've sold for dirt cheap sell for alot.
Question: I'm just starting eBay. Do you suggest I have a niche store in one specific category only, or a general store where I sell anything that's worth selling? Or do I have two stores, one of each? (Thank you, I know this is irrelevant to the video, but I thought I'd comment on your most recent video so you might see this.)
I understand everything you you just showed us, after doing 3 live shows with very little success. My issue was, people wanted me to add a Lot of items to the live auction, I figured out how to add the items but I couldn’t figure out how to snap a quick picture of the lot and stick it on there. So a lot of my items I added had no pictures.
When you auction starts how do you get your items to be seen on the screen like a slide show. when i start mine nothing is showing. it just it me on my pad. the same on my computer no one hears me or sees me in my camera the same on my phone its blank no slide show
so on your orders page when you make a sale it will just show the number of the auction? is that why you need to number everything, if you aren't taking photos of everything beforehand?
Do you sell used shoes on whatnot? I’m a shoe reseller and my cost of goods is fairly low around 8 dollars. I like the idea of just selling inventory fast on whatnot and turning money quick instead of waiting for sales on eBay and Poshmark.
Shipping ? As a seller of hardgoods if do combined shipping for all items are under 5lb, but have to split the items into two boxes for shipping. How are the shipping fees charged? Charge stays $8 for both boxes or charge separately.
So when they sell an item . And place it on shelf 100 does it say 100 on your label? Or are all the labels in order ? How do you know who’s order it is ?
When I am done with my show, my inventory pictures disappear. Anyway to keep them? I am a new seller and taking the same pictures each show is a time killer.

I thought I could just write the shipping out but I was told that you need to print a shipping label, how do I do that? And I don’t have a printer, but if I go to the library to use there printer how do I go about it from my app? I wish whatnot had a QR code like depop does. Can someone help me.

To access your orders and label...Open whatnot in your internet browser not the app.
gonna have to buy a wireless label printer or rent one from the usps
I love whatnot but i hate going live😅 i have a communication disorder and its hard to commit to entertainment
