I have a tip from my neighbor to fry something that contains lots of water, you need to sprinkle a table spoon of all purpose flower once the oil heats up then stir them well and you are ready to fry. It works for me, but i don't know if it works the same way on Icy/frozen things
@@blupiblupibut what will happen to that flour ? Obviously will get fried . R we supposed to take it out or it won't get fried as you said to stir it which make it sound somehow it will dissolve . I don't suspect it happening tho 😅
No, she's got it the right way around, I own one. But she's using it in the wrong size pan, it's not supposed to be sitting on the bottom of the pan like that, it's supposed to be so snug that it's actually ridding up the side wall a half inch. If you put it the other way around, oil would splatter onto the silicone and roll down onto the stovetop because it would be wider than the pan.
@@imparcialmente How would you be eating silicone? Silicone is heat resistant up to 500°. Sometime even higher. That's why there are silicone baking molds, and why they make silicone mats for heated hair tools. And silicone is also used when doing resin crafty things because it can withstand A decent amount of heat..
In Germany they sell a flat sort of lid that is a metal mesh that helps prevent the splashes going everywhere, while you can still see into the pan (at least somewhat). It works even better though when you put kitchen paper towels on top. In that case you just need to lift it to check your food.
*REALLY GOOD LIFE HACK HERE* : So basically, as water and oil can’t touch/mix, if you cover your arms/oil-burn-prone-areas with a bit of water from the sink (just rub it on so your arms/oil-burn-prone-areas are kinda wet) so that when the oil hits you it doesn’t hurt, as it can’t ‘get through’ the water! Hope this helps someone!
How is this a life hack?!! Water can't insulate you from the oil's temperature! If the hot oil hits you, it will not stick, but you'll definitely feel it!
as a person who’s deathly scared of deep frying things i would recommend the splatter screen from ikea! it’s made from metal netting like a sieve but it’s flat so the steam can still escape but it will still somewhat shield you from the oil droplets (or at least disperse them a bit) :)
But imagine the fuss if you need to flip something in the pan. I have a cookerhood on top of my stove, so i imagine having this wall will make it quite hard for me to see and flip/stir whatever it is in my pan.

I’ve thought of that too but these kitchen utensils are made to withstand heat. I had my doubts with some molds but they were made specially for oven use so yeah
Silicon as used in cooking stuff has a melting point of ~600°F (FDA says 572°F/300°C is the upper limit for safe cooking practices). While it's possible to reach this temperature, most oils will burn at or before 450°F (230°C).
I was just telling my mom about the issue I had. Thank you algorithm. It’s too big as well, how do you store that. It’s just going to end up eating dust in my kitchen 😅
Never put cold frozen spring roll directly in oil. This is the biggest mistake every one makes. First take it out from the freezer the spring roll. Then take it on a plate then microwave for 10 to 15 minutes.

In this type of silicone used as cookware, they probably add a lot of stabilizers in order for it to withstand such temperatures.
