Really like that you ended up covering mistakes pretty in depth. Not a lot of videos cover them, if at all, to the amount that you did. Helps everyone out to learn from others' mistakes. Regardless looks great!

Thanks 😊 It helps me as well to go through mistakes like this. Listing them and rewatching the footage helps me better understand what I did wrong and to recognize them next time. Hopefully, it helps others as well, so it is a win-win :)

The airbrush as a 'colour grade' effect is such a game changer. Beautiful work.

The model looks fantastic and covering the problems and mistakes is great for us mortals that can’t paint anything that looks that good. Always wicked to learn and helpful to prevent making similar mistakes. Rocking model.

Really enjoy your videos! I use the sole of a slipper to work the paint into the bristles for drybrushing. The textured rubber surface doesn't suck out any moisture and it works pretty much the same as a 30 dollar drybrush texture palette.

That's a pretty ingenious idea, I love it. Although I have to admit that the first image that came to my had reading this is you sitting at your mini painting station in your slippers and occasionally lifting your foot to rub your brush on the sole of the slipper :D:D

Looks marvelous. The only thing that doesn't click with me is NMM which I abhor and hate with a fiery passion of a thousand suns. TMM team for life.
Vibrant colours are spot on with knights, because in real world those people really loved to stand out from the crowd. Most people in modern times have this strange conviction that Middle Ages were grey, black and white and see knights through the lense of Crusaders and Knights Templar. Truth is they were also monks and it was expected of them to be modest and humble, thus mutted and limited colours. Lay knights were wild in comparison. There's nice story of one Frankish knight who walked around with a cape made of peacock feathers and bells. It was impossible to not notice him if he was in the town or on some fancy banquet.
Besides, who would want to have boring and colourless Warhammer Fantasy army?

Thank you 😊 Sadly, Long form tutorials don't seem to work very well on RUclips :( But one of these days, I will create a Patreon and upload longer versions of the more complicated projects with more in depth commentary. I'm not sure if enough people would be interested, though 🤔

This is perfectly timed. I'm still working up to finishing my Duke and Standard Bearer. And even better, same color scheme is what I've got planned- want to go for English heraldy for the main theme.
You nailed the wings. I plan white for Standard as well, but I'm planning on mixing things up with a black pegasus for my Duke. Now I've got to go back and see if you have black plumage in any of your other videos.

It looks so good. Would be interested on how long you need to paint a model like this. It looks like it will take hundreds of hours. At least it would do for me.

:D It didn't take quite that long. I recorded ~21 hours of footage for this one ( I record every minute of the process for the video), and this was one of the longest paintjobs I have ever done.
