Put Ball & Fox on the floor against each other 10 times a week and Fox will use Ball like an old dish rag 7 or 8 times out the 10 weekly. Why you ask? Because playing defense is completely a foreign concept to Lonzo Ball, and De'Aaron Fox has the kind of quickness in his game that Ball couldn't deal with even if he learned to play defense.

that can be true, but he plays like John Wall and is a true leader of his team. Rather raise and produce a hard paint attacker than a full blood shooter. you live by the 3 you die by the 3. he has a decent mid range but he knows his role and thats why their winning. Monk and Fox continue to give it to the hot hand until it is time for them to take over. March Madness is all about leadership and confidence I loved when I Monk and Fox shooting the ball it showed that they were confident and tough minded to stick to their game.

De'aaron fox got the best of lonzo and the whole UCLA squad. But I bet this..... switch the 2 point guards , zo and de'aaron. Kentucky with all that talent ... even so young. Wins the national title. UCLA on the other hand has a good season and fox probably wins poy because he would dominate. But lonzo is a POINT GUARD ..... he makes everyone better.

Two things i noticed with Lonzo Ball...1. He doesn't have a reliable off the dribble shot. 2.
His almost completely disappeared when his team needed him to be aggressive in this game
And his defense was exposed in this game, if ever he plays in the NBA athletic guards are going to eat him alive because of this.

I watch literally no college basketball until March but I always have one of the top brackets in the group I'm in . All I do is look at seeding with no knowledge of any team this year, but i recognize the big schools that are always in it .People want to take underdogs and even though there's usually one or two that make it deep it's really unlikely you'll guess this year's surprise team. I feel like the smartest strategy is to take your choice of 1 through 4 seeds and your gonna get at least 4 teams in the elite 8 every year - me unc, Kentucky , Gonzaga, Kansas, and Oregon . Mabey take 1 gut feeling underdog I had Wisconsin going to the final 4 which almost worked out but underdogs are always a gamble, take 7 top teams in your elite 8 it's almost a lock that 4 of those teams will make it. Then it's a toss up from there.I always pick Kentucky to win it every year because it's eventually gonna happen lol And that's March Madness For Dummies!!!

Every ball fan is saying it's only one bad game but that's not the problem. He just got outplayed in every sense. He took possessions off when his team needed him to take over. So what he can pass.....passing won't win you games if you can't be a scoring threat. Greats don't depend on their teammates, Lonzo needs to work on creating a shot for himself. Because shooting deep threes and occasionally getting a driving layup aren't reliable ways to score.

Overall great team performance by UK. Fox's game definitely translates to today's NBA... especially how no team can guard the pick n roll. He clearly raised his draft stock after this game. Lonzo is still an amazing talent imo and this loss doesn't take away what he has done with UCLA which is put them back on the map.

+ibn faqir Many players scored a lot in college but failed in the NBA because of tougher defence, an example can be buddy hield. Lonzo has a point guard mindset, he may not have shot well in this game but I believe he can develop into a more all around player than fox.
