After this video I went onto lethal company and joined a random game. One of the players ended up living in the apartment building I live in. I am speechless.

I love how much love and effort went into a solo dev, low poly game. None of the player base takes this game seriously. They know it's a meme but it made this game's feel so casual and so fun.
For a meme game it certainly hits those horror themes once you find yourself alone. I tend to always get the "most paranoid" title. This game has amazing swings between genuine horror and hilarious moments.
@@aidenkelly9641 agreed. I love how with a group of friends you have a sense of safety, but once you get lost from the group it's DEAD silent. So creepy yet satisfying

Ah yes, the "I have no friends but want to play co-op" gameplay. Exactly my type of gameplay.
Unironically this game is great for my personal social anxiety. The community is EXTREMELY chill and also surprisingly mature in terms of working together and listing to others. 3 different games I was in and every time the moment the others and I start chatting, it's go-time. No need for formalities or over-thought introductions, just a bunch of people trying to have some fun while also wanting to play the game properly. The random lobbies are honestly REALLY enjoyable! (If only I didn't disconnect so often, but oh well)
I have social anxiety too and i usually dont talk alot in games cause i hate my voice and have a slight lisp sometimes. But playing with randoms has been really fun and havent met any toxic people toward me nor anyone else on the crew

I have played a lot of games with toxic fanbases, but LC is probably the friendliest I’ve ever seen. I have 35+ hours on the game and i have never found anoyone toxic, even though i play alot of public games
I loved the fact that completely strangers could have fun with each other, this is what I most like about this game.

Ive almost exclusively played with randoms, 99% of them are fun to hangout with. Anyone can have fun in this game.

Dont have many friends and the ones I do have are either uninterested/unable to play lethal company, so like any other seeing how fun the game was and co-op being an essential part of the experience, I hopped onto random lobbies and 9/10 times I'd get kicked out.
Usually the host is waiting for their friends to get on or kicked me bcs i didnt speak their language, which was fair, communication is important. But after a while I met a few randoms that were comedic, willing to let me join, and we had a great time playing, (mostly funny moments of us dying).
We now all have each other friended on discord etc, and now I got a regular swuad to play this game with.
Now, why did I ramble to myself with a post that nobody will ever see? If you're somebody who doesn't have many, if any friends at all, don't be afraid to just hop on random lobbies until you find a crew that just clicks. Point is, dont be afraid because you will most likely never see these people again in your life, but the potential friendships and comraderie that can be made is amazing, no risk, high reward, so just go for it.
Hey I read it all. Congrats on finding friends through public lobbies. Sometimes you'll find better experiences with random people 😂 That's the huge fun of it.

I haven’t had this much fun playing a video game with randoms in what feels like more than a decade. And as an anxious person who even has a hard time answering the phone, I haven’t met anyone toxic towards me yet. For the most part everyone is new and just being silly in the game
I want to join randoms so badly when I play late at night since my friends are asleep but I’m kinda scared since I’m a girl it won’t go well😭
@mirabirazz Don't worry, I'm a lady and everyone has been super nice! I still haven't come across another girl (unless they're the few that had mics turned off), but every dude I've come across has been very chill and we all just have a good time and laugh. It's really very wholesome, good fun from what I've experienced.
I can't say for certain it won't happen that you have a bad experience at all, but this game seems to attract a more friendly and lighthearted mindset with the horror and comedy combo.
@@mirabirazz I’ve run into a few girl gamers it’s chill too. I feel like there’s an element of RP that prevents ppl from being toxic because it ruins immersion. The only issue is finding games sometimes because of connection errors and stuff
Well, this isn't your sweatfest neckbeard CoD or CS, you'll be fine, especially on a game like LC where everyone just wants to have fun.

The part I love most about Lethal Company is how whenever you play with someone who has more experience they pass it on to you -- on the job training! Then you pass that info on to someone with less experience.

Decided to host a lobby of random today. Couple of times I had to restart the lobby cus someone left, but we got to the 1600 quota, and had a shitload of fun doing so. Worth the anxiety, and get the cozy lights they're pretty

I'm not a female but I have seen random females not have many issues while playing in random lobbies. I think most people who play this game are pretty chill from what I experience, well, granted I haven't joined any obvious looking racist/-phobic rooms.
I'm a woman and I've also played siege for years, so I figured nothing could be worse than that 😂

After watching this video I tried public servers for the first time, didn't talk much but made a few friends (If you see this: "I don't have schizophrenia"-Monkey), mostly got kicked from other servers for not talking as it take me a bit to get used to talking to strangers on the internet

I've had v bad anxiety about joining randoms, expecting all of them to absolute garbage lobbies. I have run into a few, but for the most part I've been good fun groups

This video is honestly great man, yeah, when i was playing the game with just me and a few of my new friends we tried screaming at the bracken thinking that it would chase him away because one of us looked it up and found some troll website, and it got us killed, a lot.. and publics helped me a bunch in that situation explaining what the bracken does and how to stop him from snapping your neck lol

joining random lobbies in lethal is an experience, ive joined so many types of lobbies at this point its crazy, somewhat recently i joined a lobby and after playing a bit there were 3 of us left and we just sat there talking for a while in the ship for like 45 minutes, genuinely love playing with random mfs i will likely never meet again. but sometimes i do meet them again and its really fun cause its just by chance that we both join the same lobby again

I went and played w some randoms for the first time, and the first few games I joined were a bit awkward but then i found the golden lobby and it was pure comiedic gold. I would 10/10 reccomend playing w randoms and if you do, don't expect the first lobby u join to be amazing even though it prolly will be
