Has anyone else noticed that, before Olivia picks up the phone, there's a TV set behind her and, after she hangs up, it's gone, and the stereo has moved?
What’s great about this storyline is it shows our behaviors and how we treat people don’t exist in a vacuum. They impact our relationships. This is Olivia’s world being rocked, learning what a devious and manipulative person her mother could be. That would screw up almost anyone. And soon Olivia is escaping her reality by doing coke, and shit flies back into Abby’s face. I am not religious and don’t interpret the Bible literally, but there is a very wise verse along the lines of the sins of the father being visited on the children. Your children see how you treat others and they learn from it. Sometimes it makes them hate you and rebel. If my parents acted the way I see some people act on social media these days, I’d be Olivia too.
People say she's not evil. Abby was evil bad to the bone. Even Greg was a better person and that's saying a lot she wanted him to take his kid back from Karen and Mack and he nipped that in the bud real quick he put his kid first.
Abby played a role in her own brother's death. Abby was the kind of bitch that you almost felt sorry for. Sometimes she would do the right thing although often times she did not. I always admired Abby's self-esteem. If I had done some of the stuff she did I would have gone into guilt trips of insanity.
Joan Van Ark was the best actress-and played Val so well. Her acting skills and ability to play the roll was superb! Her and Ted worked so well together and had suck great chemistry. I must say I did not like Abbys character but the one thing she done is be the for her kids. She was a good mother and loved them. Knots was one of the best shows to ever be on television and I still miss it today.
It was always kind of cute when Abby and Olivia would have a fight, and Olivia would say, "Mother dear, where do you get the chutzpah to tell me how to live my life?"
oh well even today with the upgrades of smart phones its possible to overhear conversations or for other who u pocket dial to overhear u, so best be careful what u say.
This is what started Olivia's rebellion into drugs, I wish i had all this on DVD, it was so great seeing Olivia turn into a druggie, and Abby being helpless.
@@MrCraigblaze What season was this? Same season as Bobby and Betsy as preschoolers? Or no must have been earlier. I forget if they did the Super rapid aging on the twins. Bobby found out Gary was his Daddy not sure what season that was.
@@Queeniej53054 When Bobby found out that Gary was his father was season 11 as well as Bestey too .The show danced around that storyline for 5 years.. Danny told Bobby about that Rudely on the phone of all places .And on this season the counter season on Dallas Bobby was "dead". Yes the kids were in preschool or something yes..😀 Yes the kids were aged by 6 months on there age or something.. XD
She knew her mom was always a mega beeotch but she couldn’t fathom her mom being capable of keeping a deep dark secret so she got into drugs. I think that was the only time Knots Landing ever wrote a great script, because it brought out the best in Abby for a change.
He got a job at Abby's tv station, I believe in Cathy's band, which was just a sham - as actually, he's a sleazy tabloid reporter who uses their friendship to write not-so-nice stories about Cathy after the death of Joshua.

epic tv show...period! this storyline about vals kids drew on and on and made everyone on the edge of there seats...
The acting on this show was fantastic. Tonya Crowe was fantastic during her drug storyline, what a pity she no longer acts
