    Hilarious to hear Laura say "Unbelievable" when Gary came out of the apartment building. I guess she forgot that her husband was screwing Abby, too. The only thing unbelievable to me is that Kenny didn't get a piece, too.

      Who wasn’t Abby screwing she just about had all the men on the show I so loved this show they don’t make em like this no more tv is now trash what I wouldn’t give to have the year 1980 all over again

    Karen (Michele Lee) is the true heart and soul of Knots Landing. Friendly, beautiful, smart, kind, funny, flirtatious, caring. All the qualities that make for a great wife.

      Michele Lee did get her own way on this show...In the last year on this show Michele was only to be in a number of episodes.. But was in all of the 19 episodes for 1992-93..XD

      Julie Harris was an outstanding actress, mostly known for her theater work. One of her best films was "The Member Of The Wedding" from 1952, if you ever get a chance to see it.

    Abby went to great lengths to remain incognito. She drove that hideous Ford Fairmont station wagon when sneaking around.

      PJE Well, to be fair I think Abby was using a decoy car. Everyone knows that you use a decoy car when you are boffing or having a secret rendezvous with the neighbor. At least, that’s what I’ve been told. Really! I swear.

    Absolutely love Laura's hair! She should have never cut and permed it. Ugh!

      +HunterWrangler a Ford Fairmont which she probably got a deal on by working at the dealership. I wonder how much alimony was getting at the time as the house on Seaview Circle would not have been cheap.

    TV was so good back then. We would wait from week to week to see what was going to happen. Now you just log in to whatever streaming service and it’s all there when you want it.

    Granmother Pritchard & I would watch "Knott's Landing", every Friday nite 8pm TV Time with Grandmother. Yeah !!! LOL.

    Gary’s the liar and cheat and HE’s the expert on morals? JR never acted that “pious” with SueEllen whenever he lied and cheated.. JR just did it without giving a sermon

    Laura was and still is my favorite, after she died. The producers hired guest stars to fill in the void. Plus, the guest stars were getting more screen time, than the core characters.

    Lilimae was a great character played by a fine actress. They were hoping that Julie Harris would still appear occasionally after they dropped her as a regular cast member in 1987 but Harris wasn’t having it. She never appeared again. That’s why we got Betsy Palmer as Aunt Ginny later on.

      It appears now that Warner has blocked it from even being shown in syndication now in the US, but evidently not in the UK. The fans here are so disgusted with them, and as usual, it's all about $$$.

      Knots Landing was 1979-1993. Not 1978. Dallas went on the air in April 1978. Knots Landing premiered in December 1979.
