Sara, you don't know me, we've never met, but I've been watching your little girls grow for over a year now as I went through my surrogacy (single dad here) and it has brought a smile to my face with every video and made me more and more grateful that I was going to be a dad. This past Wednesday, at 3:02 pm, my son Sojourner Atticus Sturm was born at 37 weeks at 5 lbs 1 oz. He was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension of the newborn right after birth. He fought bravely for 27 hours before passing away Thursday night at 6:05 pm. I never got to hold my son while he was alive and it will have been the only time I'll ever have gotten to hold him. So I just have to tell you to please hug your girls. Hug them, hold them, as much as possible. Right now after reading this message. And thank you, hubby, and the girls for bringing light into the darkness right now.

Please be careful giving really little kids glowsticks. When my daughter was 3 one busted open and got in her eyes. Luckily no permanent damage but it caused her a log of pain and inflammation. A good flush of the eyes underwater right away helped. I did take her to the ER after the eye flush just to make sure everything would be ok. It was not a fun experience for anyone involved.
The girls absconding with the frozen waffles was honestly the funniest thing I've seen all week. 😅
