I found a black lab pup in front of a bakery on a Christmas Eve. Baker said he had been there all day and if I wanted him I should take him. I took him and after 7 years I still feel it was the best Christmas ever
So glad he is in a loving home. I am sure he remembers his rescuer who helped him through a transition from the street to a happier place. Best to all concerned.
My dad helped me and my sisters hide a injured pigeon from my mom when we were kids🥰( it had a broken wing) after a week or two believe it or not when we opened the cage the bird flew out😊 apparently with time they can heal themselves🤷♀i usually was the one bringing any and every animal home lol what can i say till this day i still love animals
Im sad they didnt keep him but after losing an animal it takes quite some time to be ready for another one so i understand. The GREATEST gift those people gave gus was rescuing him ❤
I also wanted them to keep him but it's different for everyone. I have to stop myself from telling people the best way to heal a broken heart is to love another. It was what was best for me but not everyone.

He died only 2 months later of a brain disease and I was gutted. I never thought I’d live without a dog but here I am, still not ready.

When the time feels right, I've been thinking of taking in senior dogs. My expectations would be realistic. It won't hit the same as losing a 1-year old pup.

When she sent me the pic and I saw he had my bunnies markings I knew he needed to be with me. My Simba stole my parents hearts and mine he has helped all of us in so many ways! He lives in 2 house mine and my parents and he is sooo loved!! Dogs are truly a blessing mines a pitboxer mix!!

I rescued my first dog from a family member. I would spend EVERY holiday out in the garage with him. Finally took him one day. Best decision of my life. He was my soulmate. Spent the next 3 years side by side, until he passed.

This dog had a loving home and must of got lost he’s been well looked after and is well socialised - I wonder if his previous owner is looking for him - Is he microchipped? In the UK all dogs are microchipped with the owners details. Worth checking - Great bit of human help as well well done !

Pitties are one of the most loving, affectionate dogs you'll find. They are total cuddle-bugs. They just want to be loved and treated with kindness.
