Something iRacing content creators often do at the end of a race is go through the replay and watch the incidents that happened. While this is typically done for entertainment, I'd recommend it for anyone because of the value it has in identifying different ways that accidents can occur and how they develop. This can be helpful both to learn how to avoid making the same mistakes yourself, and also to recognize what can lead to a crash so you can get better at "predicting the future" as described here. For those that don't know, all you have to do is rewind to the start of the race then hold the CTRL key and press 3 on the Numpad and it'll bring you to the next incident. Although it can be finicky at times, haha. Nothing you can do about luck though, that's just racing, especially at superspeedways. 😅
@@DJYeeJay Just be ready for iRacing to show you every wall hit, every car with bad internet connection, and every time it just wanted to show you a car for no reason. It's far from perfect, lol.
I love this kind of content. I had the same thing happen in an advanced legends race with the exact scenario. Every rookie needs to see this. Your channel brought me from d to a class and increased my iRating by 3000!
i love to do draft master races only because the big crashes that happen and even when i am involved in the wrecks i just laugh so hard at like 15 completely destroying each-other its so funny
That last clip gave me second-hand fear, good lord Definitely a good summary of things to look for. Lots of things that can help, but yeah, sometimes you just end up praying.
I know this video got posted 1 year ago, but I just got promoted to the NASCAR Xfinity Series with the help of your videos and this will be my first weekend at a Superspeedway (Dega) so this video will most definitely help lol
god bless u mr yee. i watchedt his video yesterday and did a dega race today and was able to avoid like 9 crashes i wouldnt have otherwise. thank you borther
Ha! RIP I only ever run arca superspeedway 1st hour because that race is always really clean. The later in the week it gets the more stupid people get lol
I always tell my buddy the bottom is my friend especially at super speedway because I can go low or through the grass if needed especially the turns I dont like being high unless its the final laps
I've won both the Daytona and Talladega 500s and can attest that there is no way to avoid the big one or little one or any one.. You have to luck out and get a crew of drivers who have brains.. not easily done these days. I have laid back and been wrecked just the same as running in p1. If you are thinking there will be a wreck in front of you get to the low lane and be ready to stuff the car all the way down to the hot dog stand.

I didn’t know that lol! I’ve asked a few times before and then someone would say it and I’d forget 5 minutes later

That’s awesome man glad I could help!
Just in time for 87s at Dega. Remember to set your brake bias all the way to the back for maximum death!

Those graphics could give any rallycross/dirt road driver a heart attack 💀

Very nice!!
I should've watched this before my fiasco at Talladega today lol. Awesome video as always!!

@DJYeeJay I absolutely bombed. But I'm gonna try doing what you talked about and see if I can salvage my ratings lol.
Thank you these vids are a big help to newbies like myself
I really enjoy the video breakdowns. Even if common sense stuff. It helps! Thanks you!
I subbed I had 0x in my next dega race! It works!
Woah woah woah I only promised it wouldn’t be a 16x, 0x is overachieving
Had a old timer tell me once that if you see a wreck happening ahead of you just drive towards it. By the time you get there they will be gone

Damn, I knew I should’ve watched this before the ARCA race at Talladega.
Monday morning quarterback. Nice video
Good choice from the poll 👍🏼
I never clicked on a video so fast in my LIFE. 😂
I always thought this was something everyone knew how to do this.
Haha I believe that list clip you showed I was the one that caused that. I was the Kool-Aid car
Thanks for the content 😂
Situational awareness
Can we get a drafting, bumping, and pitting with the pack tutorial?
What software did you use for the telestrator effects? I’ve been looking for a decent easy to use software for years
It’s just the Windows Movies and TV default app there’s a Draw feature haha
That last clip 😂
