Thanks. I spoke here out of personal experience as a doctor. Hopefully in the nearest future I can get people from other medical professions to give info on their pay scale.
Thank you for this attempt to share information. However I am concerned that this information is very specific to a particular area, my Guess is that you are speaking of Lagos. There are so many states in Nigeria where medical officers earn less than 100k per month…..It’s important for Doctors to understand the whole truth. It’s really unfortunate that this is still where we are in 2022
you need to look more in the north because all this values you are given are totally not in tandem with what is obtainable in maiduguri where i did my house job and worked as a medical officer. in 2015 i did my house job and my salary with the state was 181k, i started as a medical officer with the state where i earned 210k and also locumming in a private hospital in maiduguri where i also earned 210k. i joined an ngo in 2017 february and my salary annually with family health international was 5.8million with my private practice 210. presently in saudi after japa earning almost 4m a month. but try to explore salary in the north
Thank you very much for this. That's impressive. Just one question. Pls, Doctor is it possible to combine this doctoring job with other extra hospital careers, and if yes what careers could one combine with working in the hospital?
Maybe managerial roles. As the hospital career can be quite time consuming and limiting. But everyone’s case is unique so you just have to figure out what works best for you and affords a food work-life balance
That pay is laughable. My wife when she comes to the states on a green card can make like 11,000,000 NGN a month if she wants to pursue being a doctor. That’s crazy. 😮
Hey Y’all? I have a question. My urologist said they found the pathogen ESBL and E. Coli in my urine after an in house examination. However, When I Go To Labcorp It’s Not Found. What can I take for that? Something natural?
This is so not fair.... In South Africa teachers earn an average of N671 000 (R27 000) and already that's way above a medical doctor in Nigeria. Medical doctors in SA earn a rough average of N24 000 000 (R940 000). Check the stats you'll see
Sir pls make a video about how a doctor can specialize in surgery especially Neuro, cardio, Ortho in Nigeria.
Wow thanks.
Can you speak about Radiographers and Physiotherapy

I do understand that to be true. I feel a unified voice as was done in Lagos is the only way to prevent such unfair treatment.
