Congrats Kenji! I'm about to start medical school and I just want to say thank you so much. My favourite content is really when you delve into your own struggles and emotions. Sometimes watching a lot of med RUclipsrs it makes me feel as if they are so out of touch with my life that it makes our common goal of becoming a doctor feel distant. So thank you for taking the time to create truly wholesome and honest content. I'm sure this has helped many people who find them in similar positions of self-doubt push through.

Yup. It's basically hospitality worker pay. One of my son's worked at a Neil Perry restaurant as a waiter and taking into consideration base wage plus tip share he was effectively earning around $35 per hour ( all the Open tennis players, the Formula One drivers, AFL and NRL players and all the various entourage go there) My other son earns a lot as a pool life guard!

Seems like emergency services pay is similar all around. Working for the police I earn less, but that's understandable considering the years of training a doctor has. For sure we have job training too, but not intensive as junior doctors do. Hoping to go up a pay band though this year to bring it up to £30,000 plus. I hope junior doctors' pay as well as allied to medicine jobs go up some point in the near future.

Maybe a stupid question here from Germany, but do have to go to the graduation partys and all that, if you don't have the money.
I didnÄt went to university, but after my two year long academy training, they had also a graduation party, but some of us, me inkluded, refused to visit it, because we didn't have the money, so it was ok. We just got our certificates in the school rooms then.
Would be interesting how taht works in UK.
