Now that's an easy & fast quilt to make. Here in New Zealand I belong to three quilt clubs and we make many community quilts for donations. This is ideal and I will certainly be sharing all your potato chip block ideas. Thanks again Brenda, your videos are so helpful & inspirational

Hello Bobbie! I'm delighted that you liked this viewer requested video. This is the final alternative quilt block and is so quick to sew up. You can make this with 3 rounds of rectangles just like the first version as well as doing a lattice effect with low volume. The rectangles are 2.5 x 4.5 inches but you could also make these with 3.5 x 6.5 inch too if that is what you have on hand. I hope you have a creative week ahead! Thank you for watching and supporting our little channel.

Originally I was looking for a bit bigger rectangle than your first example, but, I think all the different fabrics playing so nicely together has caused me to rethink a larger rectangle and go with this size or the next size down which I think is 1½x3½. Hello Janet! I'm delighted that you liked this video. Today we are building the third type of mountains in your quilt. Remember to only cut one set of squares and rectangles for your quilt. I guess I have to look at setting up a Facebook group from the responses from the viewers comments. The Nose Gay (or Brides Bouquet) quilt will be offered as a free sew along this coming winter. I hope you have a joyful week ahead. Thank you for watching and supporting or little channel.

Hello Lynda! We are having our first virtual sew date on Aug 20, 2022 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MST. I hope you have a creative week ahead! Thank you for watching and supporting our little channel.

Do "Magic Fairy Tale Bobbins" exist!? (Love that term!)
The closest thing I've come to a *magic-fairy-tale-bobbin* is, of course, winding at least 20 bobbins with the chosen thread before I start a project... of course, everyone watching this video probably already knows that.

Hello Lynnette!

Loving this pattern, thank you. My first quilt was a trip around the world and that tiny floral fabric featured in my quilt - it has faded quite a bit now though! No scraps left from that one - more's the pity, it was a pretty one.
