Have the sar9 put only about 300 rounds in it, I can’t believe how good it shoots for the price. After I changed the grips on it to fit my hand better I fell in love with it.
for those of you wondering where you can get a holster for the sar-9 I just ordered one from Alien gear cloak belt holster... Outside the waistband (o w b) for about 60 bucks shipped UPS 2 day Air service. They also have inside the waistband holsters on their website. I'm not getting paid to say this I'm just helping out people who are having issues finding a holster 🤣
Sar 9.. this is the best damn gun I have ever owned. Actually went to the gun store to buy another gun when I saw this one. Didn't know anything about it but no it felt good in my hand and decided to buy it. Took it to the range it fired 200 rounds through it. Never had a misfire or anything go wrong with it so far. Once again the best damn 9 mm I think for the money out there right now. Everyone should go get one.

Ordered a few of the safety delete pins for the SAR9 from snakedoc, amazing craftsmanship, made my sar9's very clean looking without the ambidextrous thumb rests. He was quick to reply and send the order out, even sent a hand written note thank me for the purchase which is an old school personal touch that I appreciated. Great work Snakedoc

Thank you for this video! Exactly what I was looking for. I live down the street from SAR USA in Alabama and was wanting to get one of their guns. And didn’t know which one to choose.
Thanks for the video. Like LedZeppelin I was undesided and now I know the CM9 is the right one for me. Only problem I can't find one anywhere in stock.
A lot of pretty good guns for not very much money seem to be coming out of Turkey lately. I'm kind of partial to that CM9 Gen 2, the only thing about it that I'm not sure what to think yet is the side to side flex of the frame/dustcover near the end (which you showed in a previous video). With the full length rails on the slide itself that ride inside the frame, the side to side flex might not be a big deal, but it is still pretty weird to see that much flex on a polymer frame. Enjoy the New Year, and stay safe.
Congrats on ur cm9 pistol. I just brought a cm9, it came with two 17 round mags. I will put the large grip on it. haven't been to the range yet, time will tell if i like it. lv ur videos.
Curious, where did you get your fibre sight for the SAR9 ? Really do not like the glow in the dark white dots, they work but not what I expected. Thanks for the review.
My friend's friend owns both the SAR 9 and the ST9. Both are well made. I prefer the ST9 due to its bigger size. He is thinking of getting the CM9 Gen 2; however, the biggest knock is the gritty trigger. You said you polished the trigger on the CM9. Did it make that big of a difference and maybe one day you can show how to polish a trigger. Lastly, I like Turkye or Turkey guns. Have you had a chance to review the Girsan MC9 by chance? Good, informative review.
This gun in service with the Turkish police/military since they released without any complain and this gun passed 50k round nato test without breaking any parts of it.So you got the perfect gun for "cheap" price..well done sir.if you visit their website www.sarsilmaz.com/en/ you can see that they also making sub-machine/machine guns,AR's for the turkish military and the police and also i beleive their SAR 109T model in US market atm.

@@DCopp the grit in the trigger pull I meant to specify. Having the pull weight cut down to about 3.5-3.8lbs changed a lot more for the better than just alleviating that issue.
@@DCopp I mean I liked it as well, granted I've never used any other handgun prior to owning this one, I just didn't realize polishing it was an option though I am glad I just jumped into that solution since it turned out so well. I oughta polish it like you did on top of that though, it can only benefit after all.

I like the CM9 over the Sar9. My local gun shop had a CM9 with stainless finished slide and I checked it out and liked but by the time I decided to buy they had sold it. Now I regret not buying it.
I really love both! The Sar9 is slim & light enough for a carry piece with outstanding ergos. The CM9 is a bit bulky because of the oversized controls and weight, but it is an excellent defensive weapon as a stash gun.

The Canik TP9SF, Sar 9, and the Tisas Zigana (K) are some of the finest handguns I've owned, and are on par with, or better than most costing twice the money, or more. As for "made in Turkey", the Turks have been producing top quality firearms for centuries. Think of all the popular firearms that have been produced in Russia (AK47) Germany (Luger) Austria (Glock) Croatia (Springfield SD) and even the Chinese (SKS) among others.
