Facts
LMAO I was playing along and was like "wow this easy" and then the tapping solo started and I nearly shat myself.
On an original music, i think the "tapping part" is playing by an organ, not a bass guitar. But this part is too cool to not playing at bass ^^
+BassCover I agree, its hard to tell if its organ or bass to me, but tapping it on bass sounds way too good. :D
they use a synth to get the sound but damn dude thats so impressive to do on bass and it sounds amazing

How do you make your tapping sound so neat? when i play it, there's a constant sloppy background ringing, maybe because of hitting the other strings?? :/
+MalPal i used an "expander/gate" and overdrive (or fuzz) on tapping on this song to hear only tapping sound and not background ringing.

Outstanding! Those gallops are hard as hell... My fingers die after just a couple of bars.. Any advice on how to get that smoother?

Or use three fingers. They are triplets after all
@@FuzzyArchAngel actually gallops aren't triplets, they are a serie of an eighth and two sixteenths per beat if i'm correct
2 year late reply but you just need to practise practise practise, play play play and repeat
Use three fingers instead of two, I always do it when I deal with gallops

Around 1:58, when you're coming from the 7th fret on the E (=Cb), you're going to the 7th fret on the A (=E). For me, that sounds off. In my opinion, that should be the 6th fret on A (=Eb)

its a frigging tap solo so thats why i struggle so much to play it fingerstyle
very well done I'm still learning the hammer on's but I have trouble keeping the notes in groups of three. Is there any way to train my fingers to do that or can you make an additional video showing how you do it thanks. :)

So, I was learning this song on Rocksmith and it doesn't say is tapping, so i learned it (hardly) playing traditionally. I don't recommend it.

Good cover, but not exactly accurate to what Chris does. He uses a pick for the first half of the song, and the tapping part is actually a synth that Morgan plays live. Definitely a good cover, but if accuracy was what you were going for you didn't quite hit the mark.

true, it's originally a keyboard part, but most people replicate it either on guitar tabs or bass tabs.
