Everybody - this costs $2500 for those who raced through the video without paying attention. That is an absolute bargain. It also upmixes stereo as Auro 3d/ DTS-X/ Dolby Surround + X - this opens up tracks you thought you knew such as ‘Titanium’ and takes the sound to a whole new level.
It's made in Japan with premium components, especially capacitors. I got the European model AVC-X6700H, also made in Japan, and recently I've purchased license for their MultiEQ-X Windows app. I'm very Impressed of the sound quality of this AVR. It’s a 13 ch processor with 11 channel amp. You said 11 ch processing. Also the 140 wpc is 2 channel driven. Using 9/11 channel amp will drop the wattage lower. It’s not to show mistakes, but to inform the customer exactly what he/she is getting.
Please note. If you guys want to buy Denon amplifiers note that sometimes they may heat up a little bit and then shut down. To resolve this organize them in such a way you can use them for 10 to 20 minutes, maximum about 45 minutes. This is ideal for watching 10 minute videos, listening to all kinds of music or watching anything short. By the moment the unit turns off, just wait a little and if it´s a RUclips video put it on a pause or do anything you like while your unit is cooling up. Once it has finished cooling up notice that in some units its a bit difficult to switch around commands. At this point you may think the unit is flawed. It is not. This happens to prevent the unit from overheating. To compensate, use a Nad amp which can handle the same amount of heat, heats up a little bit, and then stays warm the entire day no matter where you are. You can connect the two units and hopefully it is possible to make them work together if you also want to use your Denon device. Received my first 8k Denon a few days ago and am just beginning to learn how to use it. Special thanks to Dream Home Theater for this video. Kind regards from Ásgeir in Iceland.
Just recently got this amp. If I am running a 5.1 set up do I plug in my rear surround speakers into the normal surround or next one across on the amp - does it impact the performance or room correction fixes that i.e. when the sound output comes out the side when it suppose to be coming from behind? Also using bi amp configuration 5.1 and I do not bi amp my rear surrounds will it impact the amp performance - does the amp can detect that I have not bi amped the two rear surround speakers and will switch off the two extra channels to give more power to support other channels?

If I can’t do it? Can I pass the data (sound and video) to my old aVr (onkyo HT-R593) than it can manage to mirror or control the zone 2???? Thanks in advance
You can do zone 2 and 3 but youd have to use an amp with the preouts on the back of the avr. This only have 11 possible internal amps. the rest, you have to supply
There is ONE HDMI 2.1 input... and it's not fully compliant HDMI 2.1 either. For that you need a 48 Mbps chipset. If you are purchasing these 2020 models for HDMI 2.1, then wait. If you don't need that feature, and need 13 channels of immersive processing instead, then perhaps consider the 6700.
Yes this is 3D compatible. If you want a Denon 3D blu ray player you will have to try e-bay and get one with the Denon-Link for best results as Denon no longer make blu ray players for home use.
Guys, just wait. Do not hop on the newest toy coming out. You know they are going to add features that you must have! Remember when hd tv first came out? 720p was the standard but within a few months 1080p came out. Just wait.
Shipped it back due to the fact the video portion sucked. Even more so when Dolby Vision was involved. The audio of my 7.2.6 room did sound great but between the video and the remote it just didn’t pass muster!
Question: I just got his model and when running the Audissy test, I am getting the following error: Front Speaker Phase error , I have them connected to a power amplifier and this is connected to the pre-out input of the Denon, the speakers are correctly installed so my question is: do I connect the front speakers directly to the Denon and run the test and then switch then back to the power?
The best course of action is to simply check the wiring and press "Skip" if it is correct. Audyssey MultEQ simply reports a possible wiring reversal; it does not automatically switch the phase.
@@djdrummernick now I have this issue: the left front speaker goes on and off, this speaker is connected to the power, the power has been tested and it works fine, Denon told me to reset the receiver and still same issue, I removed the power and everything is fine so seems to be an issue in the pre-out left channel input. Any recomendations?
I’ve read that longer HDMI cables don’t work that great. I want to use the E-ARC but I want to put the AVR in back of my living room. So that’s a least a 20 ft cable to run through the attic.
I have 11.2 CH setup. I would love to buy the X6700 but it only has 1 HDMI 2.1 input, and for this msrp that's a no no and I'm forced to wait until next year when hopefully an AVR is released with all HDMI 2.1 inputs.
i own the 2600h as my friend and reviewers biged it up. my issues are first i have to keep it on the older firmware as it doesnt work with my xbox one s if i update it when it comes to hdr and 4k. even with the latest software, and the oldest, going into settings for audio and selecting options in the ref area sometimes kicks hdr off and i end up haveing to select a different hdmi and back again for it to return hdr. lastly and i feel this is a big miss by denon, it doesnt work with my google plasy player as i cant send over by blue tooth my playlists. instead i have to use heos and creat new playlists. why in this day and age cant it just do both. let me cast via blue tooth my music on my android phone by google or any other player with blue tooth suport? yes the sou7nd is awsome but its far from the perfect bug free experience and it isnt the exellent everyone says, not till it allws the basic us of bluetooth on a phone and not push heos and sort out the kind of bugs i asumed a 500 pound amp would not have. part of me withes i tried the sony one but hey too late now. voice operastions with my harmony work great with it and yeh sound is amazing. but it needs to be a smater device just a warning all those google play playlists you have get ready to remake them on the dennon amps. 8/10 is a very fair rating as sound on my 2600h is great but the bugs and heos take at least 2 poiunts off. if i was a music lover id be giing this amp a 6/10, luckly im a movie guy so its a 8.. And heos works well when you realise to add a song to a playlist you have to open playlist tell it to play from phone, then make sure you press play now and replace que. then go to the song you want to add and play now. then save plaYLIST. ITS STUPID ITS ANOYING AND BECAUSE IM STUPID IT TOOK ME A FEW WEEKS TO CLICK ON HOW TO DO IT. WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER IF I COULD HAVE JUST PAIRED MY PHONE to the denon amp and played my playlists or songs directly but dennon doesnt let you do that because oftheir badly made heos app. i know theres alot of denon fans out there and yes i never heard a bad review but be warned if like you you want songs from your phone to go directly to the denon amplifiers it wont . At their prices it should. im saying this for al;l new buyers to be aware as no one else is saying this stuff and truthfully if all people do is tell you the positives denon whos 2600h i like alot is not gona impliment the missing basic features that in 2020 really shouldnt hell 2017 they really shouldnt be missing. its like buying a new sports car with no bluetooth or usb port.
Yes - the European model is an ‘AVC’ and has no FM/AM radio, the AVR is for the rest of the world and has the radios and antenna supplied with it as well. They both retail at a similar price point and there is no other difference.

Hi , Always more gadgets (it's the race) of functionality ... Ok it's impressive, it's flattering for the equal of budding Geeks but when a little more efficiency and especially musicality in multichannels but also in pure stereo! ??? In short, Anthem, Arcam ... still have a bright future ahead of them! My choice has been made for a long time!
@ekim andersom What is Really Stupid and especially sad is your ignorance of Geek consumer! I take it upon myself to try to explain things to you! When you listen to the soundtrack of a movie or a concert ... is it with your amount of connectors and other gadgets or with your ears, provided they are still good? On the other hand, always to fill your ignorance, the day when Denon, Marantz, Pioneer ... will make a calibration system at the height of those of Anthem or Arcam, let me know! And finally, the important thing is the musicality, the sound that a device delivers and not its gadgets! Do you understand or not ? And I'm not even talking about after sales service, reliability ... Denon is in the sales volume, every year a new device comes out with even more gadgets! luckily there are pigeons to buy them every year! 😉
Incredibile complicated. When i look good that device need maximum near 2500 watt power? I can no more modern formats, dolby atmos what an audio format used? Because, for compressed signal.... many information lost. Nice device from space technology.
I have 4cealing speakers for 9.2 Atmos plus I have definitives 9080x with up firing Atmos so I need help with making sure all wiring is right can anybody telle what wiring goes where from 5.1 and up
I' ll never buy Denon again, i was happy owner of AVC A11, that was a beast, but old school, I still own it and use for home cinema and bit for stereo in my other home. I bought 6500 few years ago , because it perfectly fits my needs - multizone (i need 3 ), more/less good in stereo and commutation. And then it started to crash - squeaky sound from loudspeakers, that was DSP fault, i do not know who develops their DSP, but i got it changed 2 times (for a receiver that costs like 2k eur)!!!!! And few month before warranty runs out, some part of analogue chain broke down. And that was it, I got refund from local re-seller and swapped that Denon with Onkyo 1100. Guys, you better go for serious equipment, like Onkyo or Arcam, they might be a bit more expensive, but at least they are made of bit more expensive and better technical equipment that Denon and Marantz, they are trying to save on everything. That old school high-end was and is still top of top, but these hi-end 'likes' are very not very good for you.
Ah I have the TX SR 373 Onkyo. Just need new speakers as my brother's speakers were old. I like Bose but meh all they have now is the Acoustimass 10 which are great they are based on the speakers that came with the LifeStyle V35. But here's the thing and you can tell me if I'm being unfair. The TX SR 373 is a $200 reciever. These things are $900. Ahim really seriously 900$ speakers for a 200$ AVR? That's my thinking. What say you? Am I being unfair to the TX SR 373? Am I trashing it by saying it's not worthy of the Acoustimass 10? Or are those speakers really too much?
Ah well I don't mind their sound persay. Axept for the single chanal being squashed thing. Which means that when a sound is ment to come from 1 speaker only then yes they sound squashed small and what ever. So yes bose fails there. Mind you this was the LifeStyle V35 $3000 system I made note of this on. But any who they do have that 1 flaw but like I said before it's tek that's driving me nuts. The new system is still $3300 and it's not Auro 3D DTSX Dolby Atmos and for Christ sakes they haven't even fixed the fact that their AVR won't decode DTS HD Master. I know it's a licence thing but it's like come on Bose licence the dam thing already. Oh and as far as speakers this thing the Life Style 650 that is should be 7.1.4 Atmos. By the way no no none of that crap that even Onkyo does where they give you 7.1 but if you want Atmos oh oops now you've got to use your back of your head speakers for the top. No sir I would like true 7.1.4 Atmos thanks. So yeah that's my biggest beef. Also I know people don't like that the acoustimas module doesn't go to 5 Hz. Meh I'd like earth quake bass too but I guess earth quake bass ain't a bose thing. lol grin But seriously well they don't have samples no more but I'd say just listen to the music boes uses for their samples not really car sub music. For movies mmeh I don't know you tell me with the V35 aparently their was a DVD and it had Bilbo's birthday party as 1 of the sample seens. What would be earth quake bass demanding in that seen? It's just the band playing, Gandalf doing his fire works thing and what not. Hmmm maybe some of the big fireworks? let me know. I didn't get a chance to see that first lord of the wrings film in theater.
Retail is $2600. Nice receiver. If you need 11 channels, don’t need some of the features and can’t afford this receiver, buy the 4500 and add a separate amp. That’s how I got to 11 channels with an Emotiva BasX amp. But any amp or even an old receiver works. Love Atmos on my system.

Yes this is 3D compatible. If you want a Denon 3D blu ray player you will have to try e-bay and get one with the Denon-Link for best results as Denon no longer make blu ray players for home use.
Can we take e-arc as an input to the reciever ? Noticed the e-arc at the back stating it as an output in the label.
Guys, just wait. Do not hop on the newest toy coming out. You know they are going to add features that you must have! Remember when hd tv first came out? 720p was the standard but within a few months 1080p came out. Just wait.
If they do, it should be upgradeable via firmware update.
This guy has good energy
You were pointing at the composite inputs but saying component. Component was right next to the composite inputs.
Where can i learn how to install this equipment
As this is made by japan or vietnam ?
Only in JAPAN!!!!
How do I connect my ps5 with psvr to my Denon AVR-X6700H and to my smart tv
How much is that John how many years I’m I gonna have to work for it
Good but no fan inside, conseptor need to put fan inside, when playing for long time its becomes very hot
Still waiting for the 6700h v 8015 comparison??
How many watts is it?
@ekim andersom No one lists how many watts it is. Not even Denon themselves.
I’ve read that longer HDMI cables don’t work that great. I want to use the E-ARC but I want to put the AVR in back of my living room. So that’s a least a 20 ft cable to run through the attic.
20 ft will be fine !
If you are getting issues with HDM cables that long you will need to spend the money on "powered" HDMI cables.
Waiting for 4700🔥🔥
How much is it please
I have 11.2 CH setup. I would love to buy the X6700 but it only has 1 HDMI 2.1 input, and for this msrp that's a no no and I'm forced to wait until next year when hopefully an AVR is released with all HDMI 2.1 inputs.
wow its wonderful present i'm using AVR 1400H
What is maid in
i own the 2600h as my friend and reviewers biged it up. my issues are first i have to keep it on the older firmware as it doesnt work with my xbox one s if i update it when it comes to hdr and 4k.
even with the latest software, and the oldest, going into settings for audio and selecting options in the ref area sometimes kicks hdr off and i end up haveing to select a different hdmi and back again for it to return hdr.
lastly and i feel this is a big miss by denon, it doesnt work with my google plasy player as i cant send over by blue tooth my playlists. instead i have to use heos and creat new playlists. why in this day and age cant it just do both. let me cast via blue tooth my music on my android phone by google or any other player with blue tooth suport?
yes the sou7nd is awsome but its far from the perfect bug free experience and it isnt the exellent everyone says, not till it allws the basic us of bluetooth on a phone and not push heos and sort out the kind of bugs i asumed a 500 pound amp would not have.
part of me withes i tried the sony one but hey too late now.
voice operastions with my harmony work great with it and yeh sound is amazing. but it needs to be a smater device
just a warning all those google play playlists you have get ready to remake them on the dennon amps.
Guys, hurry up and buy it. The model in the movie is Made in Japan. But rest assured that the same Made in China version will appear soon.
Can someone please tell what’s the difference between AVRX 6700h and AVCX 6700h ?
Yes - the European model is an ‘AVC’ and has no FM/AM radio, the AVR is for the rest of the world and has the radios and antenna supplied with it as well. They both retail at a similar price point and there is no other difference.
If it made by japan i will buy sure & waiting for those days

Is there a better all in one remote than Logitech that can transmit thru walls?
Yes, but they are going to cost you plenty.
You're going to think I'm crazy but a old remote that has been discontinued is called The Philips Pronto I know that it is about $20 on eBay and 4 for a pro model used and you can get an adapter for it that turns IR signals into RF as well as put rechargeable battery in it and recharge it off of a dock I love this remote because you can program any new device and build your own remote it's a full touchscreen it does have some manual buttons but everything can be done through the touch screen I just really love it because you can design your own remote and you can actually program remotes by holding one button down on the Pronto in the other on the device remote and put remote into it for new devices

😉
Ablas mucho eres vendedor?

Ok, nice how much
Nice unit, I'm good with my x4500h TBH.
Incredibile complicated. When i look good that device need maximum near 2500 watt power? I can no more modern formats, dolby atmos what an audio format used? Because, for compressed signal.... many information lost.
Nice device from space technology.
I have 4cealing speakers for 9.2 Atmos plus I have definitives 9080x with up firing Atmos so I need help with making sure all wiring is right can anybody telle what wiring goes where from 5.1 and up
didn't you already upload this video?? saw this yesterday
Yesterday's was AVR-X3700H
Should have bought a reliable YAMAHA!
Stoner huh? That intro sounded a lot like CustomGrow420’s intro haha. I see you.
Wow that is an amazing Video Zak I am trying to buy the Denon AVR-X6700 Reciever. I am trying to save up for it.
It's gonna cost like $4500
Retail is $2600. Nice receiver. If you need 11 channels, don’t need some of the features and can’t afford this receiver, buy the 4500 and add a separate amp. That’s how I got to 11 channels with an Emotiva BasX amp. But any amp or even an old receiver works. Love Atmos on my system.
2490€. Not cheap. And it has 205 watts per Channel.
What about HDMI 2.1
No such thing, if you have high speed hdmi cables you are good to go.
Very nice 👌 HT guide lines
Holy shit thats a big unit
Compared to the Yamaha app the Denon one is slow and clunky, even had to restart it a few times.
People rip on Yamaha. Yeah, it's not Sonos, but I think MusicCast is 100 times better than Heos. Navigating through the Heos app is like pulling teeth. Whoever designed it should have been fired long ago.
@@andrewbobucky4612 Yamaha app is not a shining example of what tech can be, but it is at least fast, responsive, doesn't waste phone resources, and actually works.
