3 years later and I still can’t watch this without crying. When do you ever get to see so many thousands of people this unbelievably happy about something. Moments like this are special
@@alextaylor7135 Yeah, the next game made us depressed, but the Vikes are usually on the other end of celebrations like that. I'm pretty sure every viking fan that day still knows exactly where they were win this happened. Just for a moment, the Vikings were allowed to have their "Miracle Celebration."
I watch this religiously, my sister crying on the kitchen floor, my friend pissed herself and was just balling, me and my cousin just going nuts. I go outside and the neighborhood is absolutely bonkers, and I'm in Denver. Felt like all that bad luck finally turned around, great moment.
In the 4 years since, I've almost died in the woods, my garage burned down, my fiance left in the middle of the night, Rona happened, I could go on. But I'm still alive, and still thankful as hell for this moment. It always makes me smile and hopeful again.
I watch this video every day and that last shot always gets me so emotional Case Keenum will never be forgotten in Minnesota and to all Vikings fans across the world. We love you Case.
rls725 I don’t like to assume but it seems like you may be an Eagles fan. So let me ask, how often do you watch Super Bowl 34 highlights? Or how about 2008 NFCCG highlights? Then in contrast, how many times over have you watched Super Bowl 52 highlights? I bet a lot huh. Even if the Eagles aren’t your team, I bet you go back and watch the best moments for your respective teams and get all happy watching them right? After 1998 and 2009, this years NFCCG doesn’t faze me.
Alex Eiden FYI: Trying to buy a title with Kirk Cousins isn't going to work either- amazing you would give so much to a guy who has never won a playoff game
Congratulations to Stefon Diggs and Case Keenum for winning the ESPY award last night for “Best Moment” for the “Minneapolis Miracle”. In a lifetime full of Vikings heartbreaks, thank you gentlemen for giving us long-suffering Vikings fans one night of unbridled joy.
LOVE my VIKES !! I'll never forget that night, people hugging me because we shared the same jerseys and the joy, people I didn't even know... what a great experience that moment was that night. Been a vikes fan since I was 1 month old (vikes onesie 1969).... Vikes forever. Bleed purple. Superbowl before I die I hope.
I’m a Cowboys fan. I still remember watching this and my dad and I cheered. I’ll tell my kids about this and show them this video. I’ll watch this every time I think about that day. The greatest ending to a playoff game ever!!!!
I absolutely love the last girl's response. She's swept up in it, feeling the feels of a true Vikings fan, but she looks over and sees she's being recorded, for a second feels awkward about, but then is like "Fuck it". "This is the happiest day of my life." Just brilliant.
Three years later and this still makes me emotional! ❤️😭 even though we got crushed by the Eagles the following week, nothing can take awake the joy and excitement of this moment! ❤️🙌🏼
I still and will always remember exactly what I was doing during this play. Pacing around my room with all my family quietly watching the game ( I’m the only Vikings fan in my family since we’re from Texas) as soon as diggs caught it the amount of adrenaline and goosebumps that went through my body was such a surreal experience my whole family just jumped and started screaming with joy while I’m in shock watching him throw his helmet in the air it was all so amazing I hope to one day feel that much excitement for the Vikings sometimes soon hopefully this season 🤟🏽💜
I had such a shitty year during that season and this was really something when it happened, brought me to tears. Hearing everyone yelling and cheering in the neighborhood was so unreal, and I live in Colorado.
As someone who became a fan in 2009 after that horrific game that changed my view of football, then years later having this experience over that team. Of any team, the best it could be for me is that team. Many fans win a Super Bowl with less joy than what I had that moment.
One of the greatest endings to a playoff game ever in my opinion. Yes the Eagles won Superbowl Lll. Almost everyone who didn't have their team in the playoffs we're rooting for the VIKINGS. I unfortunately am a Cowboy fan, but when Diggs caught that ball and stayed on his feet and the reaction of the crowd it was just one of those moments you will always remember. VIKINGS will get that ring soon.. Good luck to all teams next year!!!
I’m a die hard Patriots fan from Austin and I remember watching that game live in absolute disbelief at the ending. Infuckingcredible. Sat there in astonishment and kept rewinding it for a solid 45 minutes straight.

Its been 6 months and that play still gives me chills AS AN EAGLES FAN. Im glad the eagles won the SB and next year im cheering for you guys. It might not be this year, or next, but i know you guys are gonna win it eventually. P.S. sorry about our shit hole fan base people call our city "filthadelphia" for a reason 😂
@@QuinnSmalls215 yeah I have some family ties to both teams. Eagles did good getting rid of Reagor but the vikings didn’t do too great trading for him lol

I've been following the Vikings ever since... To me, this is the BEST VIKINGS game EVER!!! Case Keenum is the BEST!!!
Amazing video that I will cherish. No they didn't get to the final game but this is one of those moments ill tell my kids about someday and will certainly never forget.
Something I've never heard mentioned about this is how it's even better than just a Hail Mary toss straight to the end zone. The fact that he avoids a tackle and parades for the winning score is that much more exciting, seeing nothing but 30 yards of turf between him and his fans and moving on in the playoffs.
I still remember this day: Was at a bar with the entire Minnesota Vikings El Paso Fan Club, and at this point we pretty much wrote off this game as a loss. We said our goodbyes and I clearly remember saying to a member "see you next year, man!". Not 1 second later I hear the entire bar go into complete uproar and I turn around to see this GEM of a play. Honestly I think i hit someone in the head with my beer glass after I accidently threw it but we were all too stunned and ecstatic to care lmao. Best night I had watching football in a long time.
The Vikings and Bills. Two tortured franchises with tortured fan bases. Those who mock Vikings fans because they lost the next week have severe character flaws. You should be rooting for these fan bases and when they have a rare precious moment let them enjoy it.
I remember being at work this game (menards, a big box hardware store for those of you not in the Midwest) and there was not one single customer shopping. I remember listening to the radio and trying to watch clips online and refreshing our phones every 2 seconds because nobody working had the live game. We heard the play and were so shocked and confused. We found the replay about 2 minutes later and everyone gathered around and went crazy. Haven't had a day like that ever again
that shot at the end where you can see Case leading the skol chant, and the ENTIRE CROWD is clapping along with him... That and the Colts game in 2022. Two games I dearly wish I could've seen in person.
Dude, no. I loved what Keenum did for us, but he's not that good. Look at all the floaters he tossed up in the air. He's lucky Diggs and Thielen have great hands.
