i have to ask. how do you bring linen. no irons allowed on ship. how do you keep the linen outfits from wrinkling bad?? i love linen but hate to iron
Hi Kathleen, a few ways.. I roll my clothes so that the wrinkling is minimal, I iron before packing (believe it or not, this helps). I immediately unpack and hang my clothes especially the linen clothing items.
Also, I may or may not have been able to sneak a clothing steamer on a few cruises. Of course, there is an inherent risk with this. For this particular cruise that I was going on. They have steamers available to borrow (Virgin Voyages).
If all else fails, I hang the clothing items in the bathroom with the shower and let the steam soften the wrinkles. Most cruises also offer pressing garment for a fee but I have never done this. I love linen and the relaxed look of it, while I agree that it is a annoying for the inevitable wrinkling, I think the pros outweigh the cons.
I am buying most of my day outfits from cupshe 😅

Technically, they're metal, not magnetic, but you can attach magnets to them. (also the door on some ships)
