They never should've booked The Fiend for a title shot this early in the first place. When I first heard it announced, I was like "Oh no. No! Unless you intend to actually have him win the title, don't bother!". Because anything other than that is trepidaciius. Why didn't they have him retire The Undertaker instead. You know, a passing of the torch he never received as leader of The Wyatt Family Cult. This would've been a perfect built to an eventual title run and a feud with Finn Balor's Demon persona. Jeez, even I could book WWE better than the dozens upon dozens of hack writers under Vince's employ.
Should have been a slow build to him retiring Taker at Mania. In the build up he takes out Orton and others who wronged Bray. He doesn't ever get booked to look weak. FFS it's not hard.

Triple H nailed sting with a sledgehammer directly in the face I believe at a WrestleMania No Holds Barred match and they didn't feel the need to call the Bell then but a Hell in a Cell match one of the most chaotic destructive matches to ever exist is being called a DQ I'm done

Wyatt and Rollins isn't over yet sadly... That ending was the worst I've ever seen. We've seen wrestlers go off the cell, through the cell, use sledgehammers, use barbwire 2x4s with fire, etc. Whoever produced that match needs immediate termination from WWE and Vince needs to step down as the chairmen for approving such an atrocious ending. I didn't like the entire match to begin with. Putting The Fiend inside the Cell was a mistake. If they wanted a DQ fuck finish, should have just been a normal match. The cell itself was a compete waste for that match... The first two matches at the beginning of the ppv were the only ones I enjoyed the whole fucking night. I should have stopped right there lol.

I completely agree. Undertaker throwing Mankind off the cell into the announcer table and chokeslaming him through the top of the cell was crazy. He still got up to continue the match with a missing tooth. I can just imagine how much he was hurting. Nothing but respect for him. I've lost respect for WWE. I remember watching this live and it was the ppv that i came back for in 2019 because I haven’t watch it since after wrestle mania of that year and i was like what the hell was the ending. I get that the fiend is supposed to be a like superhuman monster in kayfabe but damn when mankind was thrown off that cell they didn’t stop the match when he was thrown off the cell and choke slammed through the roof and i was confused because that didn’t look like that it didn’t hit him because the sledgehammer hits the stuff that was on his face. Yeah did you see the audience was pissed when Becky won? Sasha has proven to be the best in the women's division to me. I'm going to even put her ahead of Charlotte, and Natalya. Becky Lynch did great but Sasha carried that match. With her in ring talent and attitude outside of the ring, she is definitely reminding me of Shawn Michaels.
This match wasn't even built up correctly. They shot The Fiend straight to the top. So fast this program didn't even have a good backstory. What's the Fiend going to do now that's interesting? MAYBE Fiend vs. Undertaker but that's about it. Anything else will be boring.
@WorldofGeekdom Saw Hell In A Cell last night, about to watch RAW and just finished watching your video. The only way I can see WWE salvaging The Fiend character and Seth’s finisher is if they reveal or discover that Bray’s mask was more than just latex and was perhaps armored or reinforced, hence how he survived all those Curb Stomps, Pedigree and multiple weapon shots to the head. It’d be a lame cop out and doesn’t change that horrible ending to that main event, but at least they can salvage the character and finisher to a degree.

It doesn’t surprise me that they screwed this up. It blows my mind that they did it in literally the worst possible way they could have. They built the stomp to be such a powerful finisher. They could’ve had a singles match end in a dq or no contest. They could have just said Bray was unable to continue and Bray could’ve gotten up afterwards and attacked Seth. But they killed Seth and his credibility. His finisher now looks so weak. They called for a DQ in a hell in a cell match. That ruins WWE’s credibility. Bray still looks like a monster, but now they have to figure out where to go with him. It was way too much. Bray looks unbeatable. I DO believe he can recover, but I don’t think HIAC or Seth can recover from this. Not for a long time. Seth as a face is horrendous. He’s just awful. Tomorrow I’m already dreading the abysmal promo he’s going to cut. WWE had the opportunity to take a step forward. But no they completely butchered it. The fans stayed for 10-20 minutes still booing and chanting. I would rather Bray have just straight up lost than for them to do that. Because they have to protect the business in some way. They have to protect finishers somehow or at least protect wrestlers.

I completely agree. Undertaker throwing Mankind off the cell into the announcer table and chokeslaming him through the top of the cell was crazy. He still got up to continue the match with a missing tooth. I can just imagine how much he was hurting. Nothing but respect for him. I've lost respect for WWE. Last good years were the ruthless Aggression era and Attitude era.

I remember watching this live and it was the ppv that i came back for in 2019 because I haven’t watch it since after wrestle mania of that year and i was like what the hell was the ending. I get that the fiend is supposed to be a like superhuman monster in kayfabe but damn when mankind was thrown off that cell they didn’t stop the match when he was thrown off the cell and choke slammed through the roof and i was confused because that didn’t look like that it didn’t hit him because the sledgehammer hits the stuff that was on his face. And that damn lighting hurt my eyes.

Yo go off! Waste of time. Literally the best match was Sasha vs Becky EVEN THOUGH Sasha didn't get over it was still the best match of the night. As for the final act, trash.
Yeah did you see the audience was pissed when Becky won? Sasha has proven to be the best in the women's division to me. I'm going to even put her ahead of Charlotte, and Natalya. Becky Lynch did great but Sasha carried that match. With her in ring talent and attitude outside of the ring, she is definitely reminding me of Shawn Michaels.
Some of the younger viewers are like "wtf is jump the shark?"
This match wasn't even built up correctly. They shot The Fiend straight to the top. So fast this program didn't even have a good backstory. What's the Fiend going to do now that's interesting? MAYBE Fiend vs. Undertaker but that's about it. Anything else will be boring.
I gave up on WWE a long time ago. Everything is manufactured and it lacks the care it once had.

@WorldofGeekdom Saw Hell In A Cell last night, about to watch RAW and just finished watching your video. The only way I can see WWE salvaging The Fiend character and Seth’s finisher is if they reveal or discover that Bray’s mask was more than just latex and was perhaps armored or reinforced, hence how he survived all those Curb Stomps, Pedigree and multiple weapon shots to the head.
It’d be a lame cop out and doesn’t change that horrible ending to that main event, but at least they can salvage the character and finisher to a degree.

and NXT is good because HHH runs it and its all about passion and actual good story telling, the main product many times lacks alot of storytelling in matches and long term booking and planning does not exist because vince changes everything nonstop last minute.

It doesn’t surprise me that they screwed this up. It blows my mind that they did it in literally the worst possible way they could have.
They built the stomp to be such a powerful finisher.
They could’ve had a singles match end in a dq or no contest. They could have just said Bray was unable to continue and Bray could’ve gotten up afterwards and attacked Seth.
But they killed Seth and his credibility. His finisher now looks so weak. They called for a DQ in a hell in a cell match. That ruins WWE’s credibility. Bray still looks like a monster, but now they have to figure out where to go with him.
It was way too much. Bray looks unbeatable. I DO believe he can recover, but I don’t think HIAC or Seth can recover from this. Not for a long time.
Seth as a face is horrendous. He’s just awful. Tomorrow I’m already dreading the abysmal promo he’s going to cut.
WWE had the opportunity to take a step forward. But no they completely butchered it.
The fans stayed for 10-20 minutes still booing and chanting.
I would rather Bray have just straight up lost than for them to do that. Because they have to protect the business in some way. They have to protect finishers somehow or at least protect wrestlers.
