Video by Meir / NYPD: Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individual was arrested and charged on Friday, March 22, 2024 in the confines of the 78 Precinct: Veo Kelly 20-year-old male Brooklyn, NY Charges: Murder, Assault, Criminal Possession of a Weapon (2 counts). On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at approximately 0220 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of 77 4th Avenue, within the confines of the 78 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old female with a stab wound to the chest and a second 19-year-old female with a stab wound to the arm. EMS responded and transported the aided females to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where one female victim was pronounced deceased, and the second female victim was listed in stable condition.The deceased individual have been identified as: Spain, Samyia 19-year-old female Brooklyn, NY.

All this because these males can't take rejection, not realizing sometimes it's not always about not liking you, you don't know what's going on in someone's life. Maybe she just ended a relationship, maybe she's already in a relationship, maybe she has her mind focused on a goal and she don't want any distractions, you never know what's going on but these guys assume the world revolves around their soft egos. Think before you react.
She was already talking to him the twin sister stepped in and cockblocked and likely disrespected him people don’t just go on stabbing rampages for no reason. Not at all justifying his actions but younger people are disrespectful in 2024 and often think there are no consequences especially young women towards young men I’ve literally seen it go both ways. Very sad situation all around really shows how we’ve devolved as a species and society.

I'm grew up in HARLEM NYC. I left in 1989 retired from the Army, and now I'm at the end of a twenty year Law Enforcement career. I always believed that I would return home, but NYC is lost. I was home a few weeks ago and I was so disappointed.
