Nice. Wish I had the money to get a remote starter for my 99 Diesel back in high school and college. Some really cold memories. Gotta love remote start.
Hi. I’m having a problem with mine. It’s starts the car properly, but I can no longer UNLOCK the doors anymore with it. Do you know what the possible problem could be? Thanks.
I have a question, when you start the car, does it always unlock it? Or you have to unlock it with another button? Also when you turn it on and get inside do you need the key in your hand to leave or else it’ll shut off like you said if someone tries to steal your car
I have same year it came with a small fob with one button and a picture of a white key on button what is it. At dealer was told the two fobs must stay together
Seriously considering this for my next car, a '96 or '97 Lincoln Town Car. In SC, it isn't as much of a problem with heating the car up, although it still does get pretty cold here in the winter; the big issue is with cooling the interior of the car down when it's hot. This, along with tinted windows, will be a great asset on 100 degree, high humidity days.
@@ztechwindowtint ok they installed my brother one of these stared fear and he tells me that it only lasts 1 minute on-it is a 2015 crv with push bottom ignition
hello love the video, do you know how to switch the Viper over to Automatic Transmission mode becuase I do have a manuel but to turn on the remote start I have to do so much steps just to do the remote start. I have the Viper 7756V Remote Control model.
I have the viper remote start 7116V on my car and I have to be close to my car before it will start, is there any way to adjust or improve the remote distance?
Ok, just got my Nissan this fall, and it has this Viper model remote start. I have the push start button, so after I turn it on with my Viper, I get in, press the brake, and the car turns off. Then I try to push the button before I step on the brake. And the light turns on on the start button, but then it turns off when I step on the brake. Am I doing something wrong? Lol
It sounds like your system doesnt have the "takeover" feature. Meaning it does that on purpose as a safety feature so someone cant see your vehicle running then hop in and take off. This is common on toyota and lexus cars too. Just let your car run for awhile so it gets nice and warm inside, get in promptly and dont let too much heat out, then foot on the brake then restart the car and it will still be warm in there. Hope this helps!
my steering wheel locks after starting my car with the remote starter. I can get in and put it in drive or reverse and the wheel still locked.. no clue how to get this wheel unlocked
After the remote start and unlock (total 2 press & release), when I open the doors, the engine stalls, even if I have a key with me. Do you know why this is happening?
It is a safety feature so that way someone cant get in and drive off. Let it run for a bit so its warm inside, open the door (car turns off), and then get in and close the door promptly as to not let the heat out. Then drive the car like normal.
Does this work with the Directed Smartstart app? I recently had this system installed in my car and I cannot figure out how to set it up. I was given a little plastic tag that says it's compatible, but no luck.
Yes but only with the bluetooth application on the app. This is a free option but you are limited to the bluetooth range which is usually not too far away. You wont be able to have any of the upgraded features of the subscription users either. Hope this helps!
Anyone know how much Amps Viper use from battery?? Without remote starter power consuption is about 0.04Amps, after Viper instalation battery drainage is about 0.56Amps - it's normal or they connected in wrong way? Viper is killing battery within one week when you don't use car.
Hey I love when I find a random video from someone in my city much love
Does this affect the vehicle in any way
LOVE this video! It was short, sweet, and to the point! 🎉🎉
Thank you so much. Thanks for watching!

They are a great accessory for the cold midwest winters for sure! Thanks for watching!

I have same year it came with a small fob with one button and a picture of a white key on button what is it.

I’ve noticed this also. Make sure you have the bigger one and give it a minute.
Do you have a video of the remote battery replacement cause I don't want to destroy the remote?
I do not but its very easy. You can probably find a video on youtube.

Thats always a good start
What are the other two buttons for
There is only one button on these remotes

If the bypass used for installation is the newer DS4 style, you can simply purchase a new remote with longer range. Hope this helps!
It's ok until you put it in valet mode or until you have a dash light on like a low tire and it stops working all together.
Mine isn't working and I don't have any engine lights on. I only got one remote starter with it.
How do u reprogram ur remote

Take it to where it was installed and maybe they’ll add the takeover feature!
