@ninjaassassin5801 Trenbolone comes as different esters so depending on your ester there's a half-life of trenbolone base being released into your bloodstream and binding to your androgenic receptors. If you tell me which ester of tren you hitting I can tell you basically how fast of an onset it'll have and how long it will stay in your system. It's just basic chemistry at this point. The complexity comes when you dive into your endocrine system with receptor interaction, and shut down of test production by luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which are responsible for stimulating the testes to produce testosterone. These are feedback cycles that get in imbalance when you inject more testosteron than the body really needs. Same with most testosteron analogs too. .

I'm pretty sure the heart risks, early death, etc. are false. Bodybuilders on roids that maintain a clean, drug-free, healthy lifestyle have zero issues and live well past the average life expectancy. Of course, without a controlled study, it's impossible to know if it's the steroids or the lifestyle that make them live longer, but it certainly doesn't cause early death. Even back in the heyday of steroid experimenting from the 50s to 80s, safe usage allowed bodybuilders to live out full healthy lives. Words of the wise: take advice from people who already accomplished what you want. Everyone else is BSing.
And don't abuse drugs. You only get one body.

    • @eatonkuntz
      @eatonkuntz 2 года назад

@@tnation ok, I searched t-nation for "steroid risks" and so far ive read the top 20-odd articles. I love to hear knowledgeable criticism of steroid use. But science simply doesn't have a case against steroid use. Sure, there are dangerous drugs out there. They can seriously destroy you. But fact-based and honest sources all agree: steroid usage CAN be safe. It's actually appalling how misinformed people are about health. Even doctors have gravely flawed and outdated information, often funded by drug companies.
Steroids as a whole class of PED are not inherently dangerous. You can over-do anything. Everything you do comes with some risks. If I said driving a car is mortally dangerous and then I used a couple of anecdotes to scare people so they never drive, anyone would see how disingenuous I am. Driving can be safe. But reputable people, blissfully ignorant, scare people away from safe usage in that same exact way. You have to understand steroids to make them safe. Like anything else.
Further, the critical articles that do have some medical facts aren't telling the whole story. Never mentioning research that shows healthier, successful lives decades after starting steroids. They usually just have the same flawed statistics that group together ANYONE using ANY steroid at ANY dose. Of course there will be a few people who take it too far, ruining their bodies and the dataset. Critics usually throw in scary claims about cholesterol, blood pressure, heart enlargement, roid rage, shrunken balls, etc. Again, that's not the whole story. PCT exists, and even without it, levels adjust back to normal. Roid rage is a myth: extreme behavior is always shown to be caused by other drugs or mental health, which any major change can bring to the surface. Hearts adapt to support the body, unless you're just totally abusing steroids to an absurd level and asking for trouble. Blood pressure and cholesterol are absolutely manageable in a proper cycle. And less often mentioned but still false is the myth that once you start using, you're bound to go totally off the rails with it. But if you keep increasing your stack, obsessed with extreme results, that's your issue, not the steroids. People die from too many vitamin gummies, nobody blames it on the vitamins! Nobody outlaws sports drinks, electrolytes can absolutely be lethal.
We need to stop acting like roids are both a wonder drug and a deathtrap. Let's have realistic, informed expectations, especially when influencing people.

I looked up the study and it doesn't say the sedentary group gained 10% more "muscle" it says "fat-free mass"!!! That is any mass that isn't fat e.g. muscle, bones, poop, etc. This makes a lot of sense since testosterone will change where water gets stored and put it in your muscles to make more available ATP. It doesn't just give you more muscle! This was completely misinterpreted. Most steroids were created to reduce muscle wasting, aka the preservation of muscle, not gains. You won't gain much without exercise.

“Muscle size was measured by MRI of the arms and legs at the humeral or femoral mid-diaphyseal level, the junction of the upper third and middle third of the bone, and the junction of the middle third and lower third.
The cross-sectional areas of the arms and legs, the subcutaneous tissue, the muscle compartment, and the quadriceps and triceps muscles were computed, and the areas at the three levels were averaged."
They used MRI to determine muscle mass.
A look at what MRI can do:
“MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a powerful medical imaging technique that can distinguish between different types of tissues in the body, including muscle and water.
It does this by exploiting the different magnetic properties of various tissues.
In an MRI scan, protons (hydrogen nuclei) in the body's tissues are exposed to a strong magnetic field and radio waves. These protons then emit signals that are detected by the MRI machine.
The signals are processed to create detailed images of the internal structures of the body.
Muscle tissue and water have distinct characteristics in terms of their water content and density of hydrogen atoms.
These differences can be detected and displayed on MRI images. Here's how MRI distinguishes between muscle and water:
T1-weighted images: T1-weighted MRI images are commonly used to visualize anatomical structures. In T1-weighted images, muscle tissue appears as intermediate gray, while water (such as cerebrospinal fluid or edema) appears dark.
T2-weighted images: T2-weighted MRI images are sensitive to the water content of tissues. In T2-weighted images, muscle tissue appears bright, and water appears dark. This is useful for detecting conditions like edema or fluid-filled cysts.
Fat suppression techniques: MRI can also be used with specific techniques to suppress the signal from fat tissue. This can help in better visualizing muscle and differentiating it from surrounding fat or water-containing tissues.
Contrast agents: Sometimes, MRI contrast agents are used to enhance the visualization of certain tissues. For example, gadolinium-based contrast agents can be used to highlight blood vessels, enhancing the contrast between blood and muscle tissue.
In summary, MRI is highly effective at distinguishing between muscle and water in the body based on their different magnetic properties and water content.”

Eat your heart out juice heads. Anyone could do it and look better than a natural.

All of these were extremely small sample size... Also, I looked up these studies and they are very limited in the scope and some are extremely outdated. I am not saying you are wrong but this feels a very bias and cherry picked video....
Edit: I just read the larger and first study you referenced. They specifically state in the findings "The percentage of body fat did not change significantly in any group." You also don't address the fact that they specifically picked experienced lifters and that they heavily monitored their diets and put them on strict diets. Also, This was a study based on androgenic steroids. It just doesn't seem like you read the actual study with any real deepth.
