The Artus -V12 inside an 1/4 scale King Tiger Tank. one Hydraulic pump are drive two Hydraulic motor right and left - thats it
The ARTUS-V12 is an 4stroke watercooled gasoline Engine.
the whole system weight are 880 lb
das gesamtgewicht beträgt 400 Kg

We got a conection sparking by my website www.v12-motor.com . Finish and German friends / Pekka from Finland was seek after an V12 engine for his ready build tank. and Me/Ralf was made the ARTUS-V12 for him and put it into the Tank. thats it.

Endlich!
Sounds great. Looks great. And moves like it should. So nice build! I can't wait to see it "finished"
Brilliant guys.
Engineering at it's finest!!!!
Absolutely beautiful work.
I like that you've cobbled together a cooling system from PC watercooling parts.
Cub sounds like cub. Nice work.
Very nice indeed. Waiting for one to be flown in a Spitfire or 109. :)
Suddenly my hobby of building 1/35 scale German tanks seems rather small and inferior... ;)
What a fantastic build you're doing!!! I've watched all your previous videos now and I'm excited to see what comes next? Hopefully it won't take another 5-6 years to finish because I'm not the most patient person - and that's why I'm building my Königstiger in 1/35 scale, and in plastic, instead of 1/4 scale and fully working!
My hat off to you guys!
Very nice indeed, ..just needs a heavier flywheel, and or some sort of governor/limter for more 'to scale' movement & closer to realistic revolution/exhaust sounds - perhaps restricting the 'full' throttle operating movement by 1/3rd or 1/2+?
*Kompliment !!!*
Bravo!
Finally! Great, outstanding work!
Absolutely stunning achievement. It is a work of art blended with engineering. but revs too fast
It probably has to rev fast to get enough power out of it seen as it would have very little torque due to the small piston diameter.
Fine workmanship ! All do respect !
Wie cool ist das denn!
HERRLICH! 😉
That is one sweet motor, well done!
Love it! Sounds like a Ferrari tank!
Magnificent, a work of art mate.
Wunderbar
Awesome!
Amazing!😎
SUPER !!!
Awesome plenty of grunt
beautiful
This is it. All R/C people can go home, this man wins.
Nice work
Its a V12, so its actually having a huge amount of torque. That 400kg body wont be a challenge for it.
That's flipping cool
I bet it works a lot better than a real King Tiger
simply amazing...
amazing
I would change the gear ratio, seems the engine has plenty of power and it doesn't need to rev so much. Other than that its a very nice build!
Yes.
if you ever plan to sell one of these I’d save up and buy one

that cooool nice model tank with R/C system...
try use battery power with twin electric motors...
how about american super duty T-28 main battle tank with 4 tracks
That's cool, do you play world of tanks?
sounds like the engine needs a more radical cam.
amazing! but rpm too high for this aplication...
it smokes like a 2-stroke engine
the engine burns oil because some detail was'nt fixed
DL6UK No it smokes like a Ferrari v12 built before 1994. 😁
That was main.
how much time on your do u need to do this?
is the V12 used as an electric generator for the electric motors you have up the front
hydraulic motors/turbines/smaller-rotary-pumps-as-drive-motors
yeah but i didnt understand the concept of "hydraulic motors" at the time
is that a 2 stroke?
If they can make that then they can make a Ford GAF engine it's a actual tank engine that runs on gas
Is it metal or plastic? Just curious
It is 450 Kg Metall
Sound like Ferrari F50
fit the turret with a high calibre rifle in it as the gun.
What the transmission? Gearbox and steering?
one Hydraulic pump are drive two Hydraulic motor right and left -> thats it
I looked the tank driving and I decided you had used the real double differential as real Tiger has. )))
Can i buy this tank?
Not much torque....Sounds great but runs out of steam in a climb...
If a King Tiger was powered by a Ferrari engine 😂 good work but put some electric motors in there
What the hell should i do without your advice, good comment
where can i buy one of these engines?
@@LucaderSchrauber build your own, i Support you with knowledge
@@V12-motor if i had any tools for precise metal fabrication, i would do that. btw, why is the project paused?
@@LucaderSchrauber it pauses due to lack of interest
@@V12-motor oh thats sad
why not use 12 carburetors
Trevon Cowen have you ever tried to sync and tune a multi-carburetor engine? It would be nearly impossible to get it tuned properly...
Take my money
Gibt es das Projekt noch?
Ja das Motorenprojekt gibt es noch. Warum?
You realize that this thing is heavier than a fucking ww2 jeep right?
looks as though you cooked it
Poor engine! Chould not rew that high. Allmost on the limiter all the time?
Goran Oieras Just like the real one, then. Powertrain was the weakness of all ww2 German tanks above 40 tons.
The cylinders are 16.6 CC each...they could probably rev 2 times as high lol!
Goran Oieras too much fuel, not small enough valves my guess. Designed for the revs, bo doubt
The Esseboy sounds like 2 stroke and smokes like a 2 stroke
Higly doubt it's a 2-stroke as it is a V12, that would be very hard to make! But I could be wrong.
pity it sounds more like a race car though lol
