- Jiraiya has always been a balanced character at heart in the past Storm games and in Storm Connections he is unfortunately the same. He does have one more extra jutsu that makes his neutral a little better. Thanks to @nyx-nyx6972 I will showcase this character to you all, since I've been requested to play with him.
Jiraiya has a rasengan and a new ranged jutsu. His rasengan is pretty much the same as any other rasengan, but worse. Even though it has armor on start-up, it is very slow and you don’t have the option to cancel out of it. This means that you are a sitting duck in front of your opponent if they successfully block it and have no assists to back you up. Definitely not something you can spam and to be honest I hope that all the others also get this treatment in future patches in my opinion.
His second jutsu is a new ranged fire jutsu. It has pretty decent range and great damage on hit. You can continue your combo after it hits and also use it in the air. It is a nice tool to mix in with another ranged jutsu to cause optimal chip damage on guard.
Overall, Jiraiya is a well balanced character but probably won’t be chosen over the fast majority of the roster that can do everything that he has ‘better’ than him.

Yeah I believe it was a part of the Season Pass in the Deluxe Edition if I'm correct. One of the best costumes that they've released too in my opinion😁. Too bad it's not available for everyone😭

For some reason while clipping/streaming gameplay on Storm Connections, I can’t hear the character dialogue audio during ultimates/win screens. Do you know how to fix that? Because I see that you don’t have that problem. Thanks in advance!

That's an odd problem to have and understandable why you are confused. A thing that could help is reverting back the sound to their default setting in the options menu.
If that doesn't help be sure to check out the options menu of your recording material to see if you haven't muted any of the voices that come through.

@@BlackSageHD CC2 had the opportunity to fix that in storm 3 Full Burst and they did not do it, they could fix that in storm revolution or storm 4 and they did no do it AGAIN, also if you hear jiraiya steps noises with the jonnin outfit, he makes the same sound of the regular outfit with the sandals, IS F*CKING ST*PID, i just hate CC2, unfortunatelly they are the only people that makes naruto's "fighting game" (i do not like shinobi strikers).

It's unfortunate that they are not working on the negative parts that have been outlined by the community for quite some time now. Same here! Storm has always been known for its problems, so people should just accept it for what it is. We should all just look at the bright side of things... WE GOT A NEW STORM GAME ON NEXT-GEN🙏😁. The gameplay, cutscenes and just the overall feel of it are all enough reasons to keep on playing it🙌.
The combos in Connections have reached their all-time peak, so you best believe I will try my best to discover them😉💪
