They should’ve KEPT the Regular Awakening within a Flick of a thumb on the R3 Right Analog Stick so that way that True Awakening could’ve been for Holding Down Triangle that could’ve made Storm 4 the best Storm game of all time out of them all and no Storm game wouldn’t beat Storm 4 cause if they would’ve done that???? Storm 4 Would’ve had the PEAKEST state of the Ultimate Ninja Storm gameplay style but even then??? Storm Connections GAMEPLAY STYLE ONLY is better than Storm 4s so imagine if Storm 4 gets all the things I wish it did??? And we still get Storm Connections with THOSE SAME WISHFUL mechanics to come back ALONG with new 2nd Ninjutsu mechanic?!?!?!? What pisses me the most it's that you no longer can choose jutsus, most Sasukes lost options, they gave almost every one a regular chidori and fireball, that sucks.
Althought limited and lacky it defenitly took some inspiration from PS2 games Removing wall fights i can understand theres too many characters now plus giants Clashes i can see too due online, but removing combos and jutsus? Each game have unique stuff but also happen to remove other stuff

What made it so clean it’s it’s animated directly from the anime itself Neji did an attack like that against Naruto and Kidomaru and it looked identical. I just feel they put so much more effort in Storm 1 and 2 and 3

They need to bring back the cinematic Jutsus from Storm 1, along with all the other missing Jutsus. The reason why Rasengan and Chidori spamming is so strong is because they're both fast, cinematic moves with guaranteed high damage and negates all Support characters from interrupting. Give every other character the option to perform cinematic moves and the game will see a lot more variety. It's not like CC2 is even trying to balance the game anyways, so why not bring back more content and variety. Even if everything becomes broken, at least it's still more fun than using the same few viable characters.
@@candyberry6357 when compared to the ps2 games(excluding ultimate ninja 4 and 5 for obvious reasons) many are missing Zabuza and Haku, Asuma, Kurenai 4th sound and a few others I understand if they wanted to cut the hokages and Konohamaru but those others are very important for the story of the classics
I liked how making UJs didn't stop time; it was always so jarring and noob-friendly that your opponent would know when you are making an Ultimate, completley losing the surprise-attack element.

Because of the online aspect, it was too long. Same reason they nerfed the ultimates from storm 2 onward. At least that was the excuse they gave then. And then they made a whole lot of awesome and long ultimates afterwards because.... reasons.

Kakashi should've kept his other Jutsus. There should be a gimmick where his Jutsus changes depending on the enemy. (Eg. Fire Style against Uchihas, Water style against Foreign ninjas, Fanged Pursuit against Leaf ninjas, Shark bomb against Akatsuki)

Sorry, y'all are gonna be mad at me for saying this, I know I know, the competitive scene has been ITCHING to get an optimized Naruto fighting game.....but C'MON GUYS, the Storm Series was NOT gonna be that. If y'all wanted that, should've just waited it out for a whole different game. Instead, y'all cried to CC2 to optimize this game Series to be more & more mechanically suited for competitiveness. In response, they considered things like shortening Jutsu animations(for the sake of faster combat for competitive players), and removing so many of the fun unique mechanics, such as Itachi's Tsukuyomi making a Slow effect(because DUH, that's how it should work! But NOOOOOO...), or alot of unique mechanics with Transformations. Now, they watered things down so much to where it's just a shell of its former self.
I played storm revolution back then but I somehow never knew or don’t remember that Naruto could send the shadow clones themselves to do the rasengan instead of himself, that’s honestly so cool
Minus the fact that we still don’t have Toneri otsusuki from “Naruto the last” movie and also Shin Uchiha from the Boruto anime (preferably the white-haired kid clone with MS not the adult guy) or at least those 3 people as playable characters is already terrible but I have to say Getting rid of the Uchiha Reflection Tilt was ten billion percent an L decision

Some of these I don’t mind biting the dust (jutsus that work the exact same as their original variants but look different) but some of these had lots of potential. Especially as a second jutsu. I always appreciate a summoning jutsu.
Man it's sad they didn't keep these. The cinematic jutsus and jutsu clashes were so cool, don't know why they kept removing things for every storm sequel.

Yeah this is why while I like ultimate ninja 3 better because you can explore more. But I respectfully storm 1 as it had way more cinematic jutsus and features than storm 2. Now storm 3 and 4 definitely stepped up their game but storm connections im glad they added the 2 jutsus but they didn’t have to all be the same.
Adult Konohamaru was also an NPC in Storm 4 RTB story mode, though his jutsu was just a Rasengan, so it was nothing too special to look at. And they changed Momoshiki's awakening, so his Crimson Rasen is much smaller and faster now. But other than that, I think you got them all.
I loved the one about kakashi with the dogs because as I played competitively, I used a jutsu that camouflaged my character and sent this jutsu that was almost invisible, because it was a mark on the floor, sometimes it even worked without camouflage
I understand some of the decisions, half of the jutsus were either water dragons, normal fireballs or rasengans. Many others were honestly the same, but in the connections they are better... but many others are simply better than what we have now. the pts had good jutsus before that should not have been changed, the phoenix flower, they could have left the new one just for sarada and left the old one for sasuke pts (for any of the two we have in the connections, it doesn't matter). Choji was definitely nerfed, the big one and the small one, they took away good jutsus from both of them and they gave him a... running ? The pts choji in particular was nerfed, because his ball for some reason was multihit before and now it's only hit confirm. two identical kakashis, at least one of them they should given one of the discarded jutsus to differentiate them, the thing is that the one with the leaf bandana is not worth using, it is basically a worse version of the war kakashi. Also Kankuro, both for the normal one and for the awakened one, we have two identical kankuros, at least one of them had different jutsus or a different awakening (their adult and adolescent versions are the same and when they wake up they both have sasori awaken, that is, we have 3 identical awakenings). the worst of all. They are the support characters. kurenai, anko, shizune, cee, Ao, chojuro, kurotsuchi, akatsuchi (I don't see this one as necessary xd), fu yamanaka, torune, who have had jutsus and models for 16 years but have not added them in any game is wild. Even more so is that we do not have characters that already existed from the road to boruto dlc in S4, such as shikadai, yurui or adult konohamaru. This is a shame and almost a scam on the part of Bandai Namco and CC2, basically they have given us a game with more content, but of worse quality (and one thing does not compensate for the other because they are basically recycling content game after game)
it amazes me how some of the cooler Justus were removed from this game entirely. Heck, even the Goku Costume was removed and that was a special promotion for one for Revolution! How did CC2 go so backwards on Connections?
They should put ALL this stuff back in Connections... along with the Awakening Flick option when they start adding the DLC. I forgot how good all this stuff was.

When i first heard that a new storm game is going to be released i thought atleast we will have all the characters and their moveset frok storm 4 + additional characters from Shippuden which they missed like Senin Alive Hashirama(the one with scroll behind his back in his fight against Madara) or Rinne Rebirth 1 Limbo Madara just to name a few. Well, we didn't got those but they removed the already present jutsus from the game. Incredible!
The costumes you mentioned were datamined along with a lot of costumes. I understand some jutsus bring cut from Storm 1, but damn were they good and faithful to the anime.
Neji Tempest dance was my favourite justsu of all time in any storm game. I dunno Storm 1 just hit different. Probably the best storm game out of them all. That and storm 2.
They really shouldve made a storm 5 instead of a connections with all the newer characters from the anime series. Wouldve made way more sense since the anime just ended. And we already got a storm trilogy.
Fr his forehead is just jarring and odd-looking with his haircut. I miss the headband and finger-less gloves he had on, along with his Storm 1 combos. So much more stylish.

Naruto's Rasengan Attacks: Could have Been an Assist Attack Option for his Support when he's on a Team. Or You could include a Secret where you can Hold the Button for the Larger Versions of It for more complexity Naruto Goku Cosplay: Removed for a Reason. But you COULD Have Made this a Cosmetic Alt. Storm 1 Sasuke: Could have Been an Alternative Projectile for him since they gave him 2 Different Part 1 Versions. Part 2 Sasuke: Amaterasu SHOULD Have Chased the Opponent. Part 2 Susano Sasuke: Could have Been his Awakening and his Projectile changed to that Attack to reference it Sakura: Could have been a Rush Attack that you could Swap out for Maiden's Step if you chose Storm 1 Kakashi: You *LITERALLY* Could have Kept those Two Jutsus with his Dog Summon and Water Dragon Attack and just Allowed him to Keep his Lightning Blade Ultimate from Connections and Called it: *Kakashi Hatake Part 1* and NO ONE Would complain! (With Water Shark Bomb Jutsu as an Alternative Option for Part 1 Kakashi) And I dont have references for anybody else and how they work in Connections Yet. I'm still Roster Hunting and Experimenting. Enjoy This 'Better Team 7 Characters' Fix Option.
The fact that characters had better Ninjutsus from the first Storm game that were never used in Storm Connections must've been an executive decision made by Bandai Namco to cut corners on making a Naruto game "so good" that players wouldn't want to buy another Naruto game that didn't have that level of effort put into it, but it's not like we have seen people who work on Bandai Namco, or formerly worked there speak out about why newer anime games lack quality as they may be signed under NDA (non disclosure agreement) and are legally unable to verify certain things that us consumers have noticed over time.
U don't understand one thing: the unused jutsus of s1 have long cutscenes and now they would "break the action" and be annoying. That's why they didnt bring them back.. the gameplay now is much quicker and frenetic and its good
they should just released dlc that will add all the those support only characters and story only characters and make them playable . like they already have character models and at least 1 jutsu
The developers put more effort into that game to make it look nice, probably to prove to Bandai Namco that they could, and then over time Bandai Namco forced them to do less as they have the legal backing to call those shots
would be nice if kurenai comeback as character in roster with 2 variants (pts and shippuden), and shippuden had the clone with dash and explode like accel 2. But i think that wont will happen ;-;

Some of these I don’t mind biting the dust (jutsus that work the exact same as their original variants but look different) but some of these had lots of potential. Especially as a second jutsu. I always appreciate a summoning jutsu.
Man it's sad they didn't keep these. The cinematic jutsus and jutsu clashes were so cool, don't know why they kept removing things for every storm sequel.

Yeah this is why while I like ultimate ninja 3 better because you can explore more. But I respectfully storm 1 as it had way more cinematic jutsus and features than storm 2. Now storm 3 and 4 definitely stepped up their game but storm connections im glad they added the 2 jutsus but they didn’t have to all be the same.
Shikamaru's grab at 2:50 is so badass
Adult Konohamaru was also an NPC in Storm 4 RTB story mode, though his jutsu was just a Rasengan, so it was nothing too special to look at. And they changed Momoshiki's awakening, so his Crimson Rasen is much smaller and faster now. But other than that, I think you got them all.

I loved the one about kakashi with the dogs because as I played competitively, I used a jutsu that camouflaged my character and sent this jutsu that was almost invisible, because it was a mark on the floor, sometimes it even worked without camouflage

I understand some of the decisions, half of the jutsus were either water dragons, normal fireballs or rasengans. Many others were honestly the same, but in the connections they are better... but many others are simply better than what we have now. the pts had good jutsus before that should not have been changed, the phoenix flower, they could have left the new one just for sarada and left the old one for sasuke pts (for any of the two we have in the connections, it doesn't matter). Choji was definitely nerfed, the big one and the small one, they took away good jutsus from both of them and they gave him a... running ? The pts choji in particular was nerfed, because his ball for some reason was multihit before and now it's only hit confirm. two identical kakashis, at least one of them they should given one of the discarded jutsus to differentiate them, the thing is that the one with the leaf bandana is not worth using, it is basically a worse version of the war kakashi. Also Kankuro, both for the normal one and for the awakened one, we have two identical kankuros, at least one of them had different jutsus or a different awakening (their adult and adolescent versions are the same and when they wake up they both have sasori awaken, that is, we have 3 identical awakenings). the worst of all. They are the support characters. kurenai, anko, shizune, cee, Ao, chojuro, kurotsuchi, akatsuchi (I don't see this one as necessary xd), fu yamanaka, torune, who have had jutsus and models for 16 years but have not added them in any game is wild. Even more so is that we do not have characters that already existed from the road to boruto dlc in S4, such as shikadai, yurui or adult konohamaru. This is a shame and almost a scam on the part of Bandai Namco and CC2, basically they have given us a game with more content, but of worse quality (and one thing does not compensate for the other because they are basically recycling content game after game)
Connection needs to bring them on a future patch
it amazes me how some of the cooler Justus were removed from this game entirely. Heck, even the Goku Costume was removed and that was a special promotion for one for Revolution! How did CC2 go so backwards on Connections?
They should put ALL this stuff back in Connections... along with the Awakening Flick option when they start adding the DLC.

@@KEN4K i have played storm 4 so i would like to correct you. Storm 4 has tilts with the same controls. To switch characters we need to use the right joystick
the cutscenes in middle of jutsus were SO cool
Really sad, but what had most disappoint me was the cut Ninjutsu from Storm 1 mot being restoreds, and the quantity if Ninjutsu 2 that was just Tilts.
A shame they did not let Classic-Kakashi keep the Dog Jutsu. In season 1 it was a part of who he was.
Fanged pursuit jutsu was actually so broken back in storm 4 and since no one used that kakashi they weren’t familiar with it bro it was so fun

When i first heard that a new storm game is going to be released i thought atleast we will have all the characters and their moveset frok storm 4 + additional characters from Shippuden which they missed like Senin Alive Hashirama(the one with scroll behind his back in his fight against Madara) or Rinne Rebirth 1 Limbo Madara just to name a few. Well, we didn't got those but they removed the already present jutsus from the game. Incredible!
The costumes you mentioned were datamined along with a lot of costumes. I understand some jutsus bring cut from Storm 1, but damn were they good and faithful to the anime.
The first ultimate ninja storm game was made with so much love. The games after it they just watered it down so much

I feel like some of these weren't in storm 4 either. Now to be honest I have hope they add atleast some things from older games. Like I hope it's a street fighter 5 situation where they basically released half the game.
Naruto's Rasengan Attacks: Could have Been an Assist Attack Option for his Support when he's on a Team. Or You could include a Secret where you can Hold the Button for the Larger Versions of It for more complexity
Naruto Goku Cosplay: Removed for a Reason. But you COULD Have Made this a Cosmetic Alt.
Storm 1 Sasuke: Could have Been an Alternative Projectile for him since they gave him 2 Different Part 1 Versions.
Part 2 Sasuke: Amaterasu SHOULD Have Chased the Opponent.
Part 2 Susano Sasuke: Could have Been his Awakening and his Projectile changed to that Attack to reference it
Sakura: Could have been a Rush Attack that you could Swap out for Maiden's Step if you chose
Storm 1 Kakashi: You *LITERALLY* Could have Kept those Two Jutsus with his Dog Summon and Water Dragon Attack and just Allowed him to Keep his Lightning Blade Ultimate from Connections and Called it: *Kakashi Hatake Part 1* and NO ONE Would complain! (With Water Shark Bomb Jutsu as an Alternative Option for Part 1 Kakashi)
And I dont have references for anybody else and how they work in Connections Yet. I'm still Roster Hunting and Experimenting.

Storm 1 was a developer wanting to wow everyone and they did.
Connections is just tired old devs past it
The fact that characters had better Ninjutsus from the first Storm game that were never used in Storm Connections must've been an executive decision made by Bandai Namco to cut corners on making a Naruto game "so good" that players wouldn't want to buy another Naruto game that didn't have that level of effort put into it, but it's not like we have seen people who work on Bandai Namco, or formerly worked there speak out about why newer anime games lack quality as they may be signed under NDA (non disclosure agreement) and are legally unable to verify certain things that us consumers have noticed over time.
U don't understand one thing: the unused jutsus of s1 have long cutscenes and now they would "break the action" and be annoying. That's why they didnt bring them back.. the gameplay now is much quicker and frenetic and its good

The developers put more effort into that game to make it look nice, probably to prove to Bandai Namco that they could, and then over time Bandai Namco forced them to do less as they have the legal backing to call those shots
