Yea same i just realized how good sais range is. He’s versatile af. The tilt can catch mfs in a chakra dash very easily and if they sub too fast they usually spawn right back in the tilt. If they block i hold the jutsu buttom to use the fully charged lions …and usually do a tilt again and throw his charged ink birds. You can apply hella pressure with his kit
@ZeroFlameX sasuke the last attack was weak too but he was one of the best characters. It's how you use the jutsu It's extremely good for a combo based game like this.

So, claiming they had ample time for this project is inaccurate; they faced time and resource constraints, making it essential to consider these factors before criticizing the outcome.
Also, obviously this wasn’t the only project CC2 was working on, so work obviously had to be more split between projects. This game was not 7 years in the making. Anyone who genuinely believes that are just ignorant.
Idk what I was expecting 🙄, but now that I got the game, it feels like it honestly should have been DLC with an update patch. All different versions of the same character have their own slot as if to make it seem like there’s more characters, and Jutsu are once again tied to a specific variant of a character instead of them being customizable within all versions of the same character for more variety, that also includes old tilts that are now ninjutsu. Since most the ‘The Last’ and ‘Boruto’ versions are reskins of their Shippuden forms, they should be able to use any jutsu from both their Shippuden and Part 1 forms. Lastly and Ultimates and ninjutsu form Storm 1 that didn’t return in Storm 4, should’ve been in Connections.

I agree with your opinion in most of the subjects, but for me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, this game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. I hate they re used the tilts for a "new" full priced game. Like the fuck? Keep the tilts not to mention it takes up chalra kunai. There was a better less lazy way to reuse stuff from the old game. I'm fine with re using things from an old game in certain situations and this could have been one but they just took moves characters already had and called them new jutsu. No bitch you just changed the input.

Taking out chakra shurikens was fine, but what these 0 brain having 🤡🤡 didn't realise is, they didn't have to remove the flick/tilt moves. All they had to do was keep the flick/tilt moves, then put the 2nd jutsu in the chakra shuriken spot (and allow you to choose your 2nd jutsu - when applicable). If they wanted to keep the chakra shurikens, they could have made us have to hold square instead... Simple... Triangle, circle - justsu 1 Triangle, square - jutsu 2 Flick/tilt - stays the same Hold square for chakra shuriken But sadly they didn't have enough brain cells among them to think of that... And I nearly forgot... were too lazy to make a 2nd jutsu for everyone, so decided to copy and paste the flick/tilt moves for most people...
Still no update for most of storm 2 charecters (excepte for à 2nd jutsu but then again apperantly most of them are either their old tilts or there chakra shuriken)

I understand the logic of having one close range ninjutsu to cover broad area and push back the enemy (shinra tensey) or when you need to reach a target and hit it to make more damge (rasengan) + 2nd distant range ninjutsu (fireball or water dragon) BUT I do not understand d of having one character same type of ninjutsu like conan?? 1st jutsu is long range and 2nd one long range? connections has a lot of small gameplay changes, new characters and some old characters have completly new second jutsu, they are adding new characters and will continue to add new characters, story is dissapointing but this game was never meant to be story focused, its focused on multiplayer ( they fixed it ) and just battles in general, basically this game is a long term project they will constantly update in the future
For those wondering, Bandai used Ai voices for the dub voices of the characters. Considering the roster number, they couldn’t/didn’t track down all the voice actors for all those characters to come in and redo the voices. Lazy? Yes. Did people still buy the game? Yes. Just switch to subtitles and read like a normal human being. Learn something new everyday, I suppose I’m shocked Bandai or CyberConnect 2 even consider Ai as an option… Makes me worried if Budoaki 4 will undergo the same laziness

I understand the logic of having one close range ninjutsu to cover broad area and push back the enemy (shinra tensey) or when you need to reach a target and hit it to make more damge (rasengan) + 2nd distant range ninjutsu (fireball or water dragon) BUT I do not understand d of having one character same type of ninjutsu like conan?? 1st jutsu is long range and 2nd one long range? What is the purpose? just to have different visual of the same attack? does not make sense

Usually the dubs isn't bad, I even like it. But why is this one so off. I have a feeling they are heavily edited or spliced together.
Honestly, I would have been fine with them just reusing lines for the dub.The re-dub, especially for Naruto was just not it. Some are reused though, like Kid and Blood Mist Obito.

For me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, this game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features)
2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks)
3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well)
4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion)
5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic) 🤷🏻♂️
connections has a lot of small gameplay changes, new characters and some old characters have completly new second jutsu, they are adding new characters and will continue to add new characters, story is dissapointing but this game was never meant to be story focused, its focused on multiplayer ( they fixed it ) and just battles in general, basically this game is a long term project they will constantly update in the future

For those wondering, Bandai used Ai voices for the dub voices of the characters. Considering the roster number, they couldn’t/didn’t track down all the voice actors for all those characters to come in and redo the voices. Lazy? Yes. Did people still buy the game? Yes. Just switch to subtitles and read like a normal human being. Learn something new everyday, I suppose I’m shocked Bandai or CyberConnect 2 even consider Ai as an option… Makes me worried if Budoaki 4 will undergo the same laziness
This is bare bones effort, other than the new characters, all of these so called ‘new’ jutsu are repurposed animation that have been in the games for over a decade now. They have the balls to ask for full price?
All the attacks are basically the same shit and have the same impact. I miss when the storm games werent online and each jutsu was different
