Wrestling isn’t in that high of demand for AEW to really succeed. They’ll only go so far. WWE, being the premier show for wrestling for decades with the most notable stars, sponsorships and so forth, will of course always have decent viewership and bring in money. But AEW won’t be able to keep up with WWE numbers for right now. If wrestling becomes high in demand within the next few years though it will likely skyrocket. But right now there is more supply than demand.

Not to mention Cope, who's a senile elderly mark who thinks he should win every match at age 60
AEW has no franchise wrestler like Stone Cold ,The Rock and Goldberg . That is the main main problem. Who knows ,if they hadnt botched Wardlow's push , perhaps Wardlow might have been a main eventer by now . Not on the level of Stone Cold or Goldberg but nonetheless ,a main eventer. Or alternatively , AEW should also try to get EC3 and perhaps lure Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeuax from WWE . Yes ,Karrion ,EC3 and Wardlow are not franchise main eventers but they would certainly be an improvement over the likes of MJFs and the Adam Cole's .

I disagree with you on Samoa Joe. I think he’s very good as has been as champ. He’s old but is a pro and believable. Main event picture is hurting for sure without mjf though.

I think AEW, in terms of their budget, the talent they have access to, them being on a big tv network and the access Tony Klown has to the knowledge that the legends have who work or have worked for him, and who he could have to help him run things...makes AEW the absolute worst wrestling company I have ever seen. For what they have access to compared to indies, this show should at least be doing TNA's ratings from back in the day. I watched it for a year when it first came out and the booking of the show has not changed and is maybe worse now than it was when I first watched. The constant no selling in matches and 20+ minute matches becomes boring but worse than that is the booking. I agree that Edge and Christian should be in the main event scene. I am okay with Samoa Joe being world champ and fine with Swerve being in the title scene (he has some talent and is doing what he can do in this environment to get over). But nothing is consistent in AEW and no one gets over with the mark booking. I know Jericho is getting older but he and even Sting are 2 guys I never understood why they weren't consistently in the main event scene. Sting vs MJF on ppv would've drawn some money. And Tony Klown is such a dummy for the money he wastes to bring in Mercedes Money who was never a big draw in WWE. Only reason she main evented anything is because Stephanie Mcmahon was pushing the women's stuff. I'm not much of a fan of the weirdo fetish mommy stuff WWE is doing with Rhea Ripley, but she's at least making them some money with merchandise or bringing in weirdo fans. While I admit I don't know many of the Japanese guys Tony brings in, I agree that Tony putting Okada with the Young Bucks in something lower card on the show is not only dumb, but The Bucks are driving away viewers as well and he's going to ruin Okada before he even had a chance to attempt to shine (though from what I have seen of Okada though, I'd be changing the channel as well, especially that this guy's finisher is just a basic standing clothesline lol terrible finisher)
