I love it when Corter tell “I don’t have a design for this”. I love learning how to make leather stuff from scratch while seeing the whole process. Appreciate these type of videos.
for these notepad holders I never bother sticking both covers into the holder because it makes it hard to sit flat. Ripping off that front cover is a good move IMO even though you didnt do it on purpose. The top pocket would be good for like holding random paper and cards. Looks dope.
Went to Weaver’s site and could not find that leather. Have a client who wants a purple purse. All I found was purple cowhide suede. Any suggestions? Thx
Hello! I just started leather working and was wondering how to discern what a good and bad leather quality is. Could you please do a video comparing different types of leather please? 🥺❤
I think, you need a read a lot of info from internet about type's of leather, and do it yourself, when you not waite for something, and start yourself a search info, its giv a best results, sorry, if you not understand, im have a so bad english
Hey there! Love this! Quick question. That technique that you do with the flat knife? Can you make a video showing how you do that? For the life of me I cannot figure it out. I have been making leather covers for a couple of years just for personal use. But that one technique has got me flustered. Thanks!
Hey there, that is skyving. He's done a few videos on the topic. Check his video history. Cheers. Best advice, get a nice quality knife, spend a little more than you want.
Good day, pls tell me, you use a japan type of chisel, why you not use a french chisel like a other, they tell stitch after a french chisel, is most a beautiful, (im too use a diamond chisel only) And question number two - you use a 5mm diamond chisel, for wallets and for bags, and how its look irl? You not fill like a for wallets need a 4mm chisel, or something like this, sorry im bad know a english.

Secret is to have that skiving knife extra sharp to begin with and then make sure to strope it before using it.

Bro do you sell wallets? Would love a piece from your work.
Is there a specific reason you put the pen loop on the outside instead of inside?
Hmm… what a thought provoking question… because he wants to?
